Samsung Galaxy S21 FE on XDA

I just got an S21 FE 990U1 and noticed when it boots up, the Samsung splash doesn't say the model number after Galaxy, like it used to with previous models. Is that the case with all S21 or just the FE?
Got it today!! What a phone! I just wanted to post a very important information I couldn't find after half an hour on googling!!
Model number list for this one. I wanted to confirm I got the correct model before breaking the sealings on the box. So, I got an SM-G990B/DS.
I think (!) that B means the "standard" one with Snapdragon and DS might (?) be Dual-Sim.
At least that is correct for my phone. Checked with CPU-Z app.
And if there would have been an E afterwards (instead of B?), it means Exynos!
Could be good to know if someone else is in doubt.

I've seen Variants of the note 7 Duos (N930-FD) that have DUOS etched into the back of the phone, below the Samsung logo. I got my onyx black Note 7 Duos, and while I have indeed confirmed that it is a Duos model, I don't have this (obnoxious I might add) branding on the back of my device.
Can someone clarify the different regional variants of the N930-FD? Thanks!
Edit: upon observation, I've noticed that confirmed models with this branding include this silver/metallic N930-FD from what looks like to be Dubai (Arabic writing can be seen in the manuals). The video of the confirmed device is here https://youtu.be/JXtGGIFlUrM.
A picture of a pamphlet from my N930-FD:

It seems that mine is from Vietnam? What language is this?
Mine is from a Dubai dealer ( dealshabibi.com ) and it's manufactured in Vietnam . It has a " dual" mark on his back.
If you want to know more about your phone, you can install Phone Info from store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo&hl=en
Cheers~
OK. I download the app and found mine is from Singapore.
Recently i read much news about Xiaomi MI7, the latest news i find from a blog, Xiaomibuying that mainly focus on Xiaomi, i guess they can get the first news from China, so they say Xiaomi MI7 will sell in March, and it will use Snapdragon 845 processor first ahead of other brands, and it will also adopt Bezelless screen, so this news is reliable?

Hope, bigger phone means bigger battery. Btw looks great.
Lei Jun went to Hawai to see the announcement of Snapdragon 845. Mi7 is certain to receive 845. Rumors says that on March Xiaomi will present us Mi7. So news are reliable.

What are the necessary steps that I need to do, to at least use the Note 7 as a note taker/tablet. I have the phone in South America and is a T-Mobile one, never turned on. How can I save this phone?
Lo and behold, please help saving this piece of history.
Install a custom rom and replace the battery with the note 8 one I guess
Also, how much did you pay for it?
Since it's a SM-N930T with snapdragon processor there is NO custom rom.
Look at alliancex.org, we have alliance shield x, an app to block the unwanted updates and more.

Hi, I bought a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Canada (G988W) several months ago. I can not unlock the bootloader because of the missing "OEM Unlock" in the development mode.
I tried the method on Youtube such as turning off auto time and date and changing the date to half a year before the actual date, but it did not work.
I had even asked for help from several merchants who did rom service of samsung mobile phones; however, they all told me they were not able to do it because of my software version of G988W.
Can anyone help me?

Yeah sorry pal, S20 Series with U/U1/W model numbers are locked, and cannot be unlocked (at least not officially).
There are some paid services claiming to unlock it, however, it is not recommend, for there won't be a lot of development. Beautiful device though.

according to this open data about GPS abilities for different phones, the galaxy s22 does not seem to have L5 GPS support but the s22+ does? Is there a way to get L5 GPS enabled on the base model s22? the 8gen1 chip supports it, not sure why it would be disabled.

In the same category S22+ supports Wi-Fi 6e but S22 doesn't while they have the same modem.
Your best bet is to ask to someone who made a custom kernel
