Did you tried other games? On stock AndroidOne did the game you're describing here runs well?
Saying 'kernel is crap' is really a kind of harsh thing to say, when the developer tried hard to work with it.

The SD625 chipset was never intended for "heavy" 3D games, it's more of an energy-efficient chipset.

Hello, There are a Few Things You Should Keep In Mind...
1. I Dont Own the Device For My Personal Testing. Redmi 6 Pro & MI A2 Lite Share The Same Specs, Hence I Shared My Kernel Work For MI A2 Lite.
2. When Coming to Games, I Usually Play Pubg & On my Device It is Smooth As Butter.
3. And It Should Be Good If You Mind, What You Speak. Saying Something Crap Isnt a Good Deal. First Let Your Main Devs Get a Fully Stable Tree With 4.9 Stuff On To It.
4. YOU ARE FREE TO NOT USE IT IF U DID NOT LIKE IT
Simple. BTW Thanks mate!
Time For a Quick Update

Realme 5 Pro/Realme Q custom kernels

Status update:
Sadly XDA with its major overhaul nerfed site capabilities, again thus a post cannot contain more than 20 images. Meaning I won't be able to provide you the change/update logs in the previous format as images. I'll try to still provide insights of the changes but only with links instead of the more visible and easily accessible images. Say your thanks to XDA devs, again.
Disclaimer:
I’m no developer or programmer so I can’t add/remove features, fix experienced issues. Neither can I forward your messages to devs working on these ROMs. Most of development for our device happens on Telegram channels but XDA prohibited the sharing of Telegram links so this does hinder work and a few other things. Because of this I can’t link original posts and sources but I’ll try to do my best to give you end users enough information. If you need anything more you can either look up “Telegram Realme 5 Pro” in Google search and try to find the main group or PM me on my Facebook/Telegram page so I can redirect anyone who wishes to join the development team/forum or just wants to test new builds of ROMs/kernels. We have a main group for everything, development group for testing, photography group, gcam specific group and downloads group.

I’ll leave the link for latest uploads here in this thread and will upload the files too. However updates and logs will be kept in the first comment.

Custom kernel pros and cons over stock:
For the average end users who don't know much about the importance of kernels (though I don't really advise such users to flash custom kernels) I'll sum up the pros and cons of flashing custom kernels over original, stock ones.
Pros:
Updated (upstreamed) selinux version (means updated security)
Better performance, battery life or maybe even both
Highly customisable features
New in-built features such as K-Lapse or K-Cal, kernel based audio gain and tweaks etc.
Smoother UX
Cons:
Some kernels are enforcing/permissive selinux only
Performance may vary depending on ROM type and between kernel versions
Some kernels don't pass Google's SafetyNet by default but that's rare for custom developers work hard to make CTS profile and baseintegrity pass

Try installing Magisk first then Custom kernel.
Tnx installation went smoothly running in rui
Performance seems smoother
Will come back later for battery backup

I recommend IRB kernel. Although it's relatively hard to do multitasking on a heavily modified ROM that keeps killing all kinds of apps as soon as you don't use them to seem fast and fluid. Even with tweaking.
Which Kernel would you recommend for DerpFest Rom?

For difference between EAS & HMP i would prefer you to search on google sur
Also EAS is mostly used in AOSP roms which try to make the experience as close to pixel as possible. You can make choice , which kernel to use as daily driver after knowing difference between EAS and HMP. For getting good Battery Backup i would prefer EAS kernel sur.
I have been using this kernel for the past 3 days. 1 bug I have found:
1. Extremely slow data transfer speed from pc to phone. At first it's fast but after 1 gb or so the transfer speed decreases drastically.
I am using Asus zenfone max pro M1 X00td with Zen X os v1.7 and using disaster kernel eas version.
Please solve this issue in the next build. And one more suggestion, I have seen that this kernel has little to no idle battery drain. But while watching videos and on normal phone calls it's draining more than average battery. I have used Smokey, trb and Stardust kernels and tbh disaster is by the far the most stable with the least concerning issues.
Great job disaster team!!!!!!!!
Waiting for the next build!!!!!
