Hello,
I have a Xiaomi MI 10T Pro and my IR blaster does not work very well. I used Mi Remote as well as other remote apps from Google Play.
I have to press 20-30 times same button in order to activate IR blaster signal and to turn on my TV.
Anyone have the same problem? Is there any solution, any way to calibrate IR blaster?
Thanks

Has anyone else had an issue with the IR blaster after the OTA 5.0.1 update? I recieved the 5.0.1 OTA update and the IR blaster seems to have stopped working entirely. I've used several hardware info apps, and the blaster does not show up, can anyone else verify this?
You have too use the Sense TV app. After setup, it'll work. IR Blaster doesn't work as of yet for some reason.
I've seen posts about FLIRC and some other IR recivers (like from a Ortek Win MCE remote)...
Has anyone tried the old Nyko BluWave IR Remote For PS3 with a Fire TV? Does it work? Or at least its IR reciver with a harmony remote?
Other than connecting it and pressing buttons is there any way to test?

I just set up my Amazon Fire TV this past weekend. Unfortunately, the Nyko BluWave IR remote for PS3 does not work. I plugged it into the USB port on my Fire TV and went into settings - the dongle does not even show up as a connected device. I also mashed some of the buttons on the remote itself to see if anything would happen. Unfortunately, nothing happened when I tried any of the buttons for the Nyko.
I actually got a chance to try it with mine (found it in a box in the basement that wasn't unpacked since we moved)
Pressing the directional parts of the ring, and center worked for me, but nothing else.

read this a few weeks ago and just found the dongle for mine in drawer. the only buttons that worked for me were the directional buttons . the center button did not work. maybe my button is broken. or perhaps I'm on a different firmware version. if it mimics the buttons of a playstation controller perhaps they can be remapped? not sure how to go about doing that.
I also found a generic usb to infarad adapter.
I plugged it into the firetv and when I use certain remotes the receiving light on the device lights up.
I'm just wondering if there is an app out there that'll let you turn the IR blaster on and leave it on the same way normal flashlight apps do. Any help would be really appreciated.
what do you mean? you dont want the ir blaster on 24/7
You know how a flashlight app lets you turn the flash on and off at will? I want that, but for the IR blaster instead of the normal flash. The reason is I want to use the IR blaster as a small infrared illuminator.
Did you find one?
Nope
My IR blaster doesn't work i have tried multiple external apps but i cannot get it to work consistently with my TVs. I have tried with multiple different makes of tvs. It turns on my tv but doesnt change channels or volume and i have tried the specific button settings on the lg app
Maybe the phones fine and the program isn't setup correctly
Thing is that the IR Blaster isnt so strong.
I tried the QuickRemote app and found it did a pretty poor job of recording the remote signals. Maybe the problem isn't that your transmitter is weak but that your recordings are bad.
Greetings,
I have a mi6 and it's brand new, and I used to use the mi remote controller normally but suddenly it stopped working. I have tried many apps from app store but none of them work.
Do anyone know a fix for it? The blaster seems to be working fine though as the picture shows.
