Hello, can someone please explain/confirm, why such adapters only work on RPI3, but not on RPI4 ?

This adapter is only for anyone that DOSE NOT have a adapter, with the mini adapter or Transflash. If you got plenty then i am happy for.

Well, I bought my 1GB at Ebay UK for £25, later found a 2GB at £40.

okay first i have a cingular 812. i know its old but i have to live with it for 1 or 2 years till i get a job and have enough money to get a newer phone. anyway i looked all over the internet for mini sd, i guess there extinct now. so i was thinking of buying this: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9107226
but my question is if i use that little micro sd put it on the mini sd adapter and put the adapter in my phone would i be able to transfer music, movies, themes, and software on it and run it from my 8125? thanks
if it's not sdhc if your device dont support sdhc that is
it should work i use a microSD in converter in my old device which
have std SD only it works ok
so if i dont have sdhc supported then i wont be able to use the converter?
you can use a converter with non sdHC microSd cards just fine
but the converter don't make a device able to use sdhc cards if it don't support it

I have a chance to buy discount a 256Gb microSD card. I read the specs available anywhere (mostly GSMarena) and they all seem to say that the Lenovo P2 can take maximum only 128Gb card. I remembered reading somewhere that almost any phone with an extension microSD slot (except for those with 32Gb or 16Gb specifically) can be extended to basically 2Tb but I'm not sure. Can anybody chime in with their experiences? The reason for this is 1/ the discount is great and 2/ I travel a lot so I'd like to keep all my movies, tv series, music etc on my phone.

I have not tried yet but I intend to do it some day. I currently have enough space on my 128Gb sdcard.
I give You my advice because I remember my experience with my previous smartphone which was a Sony Xperia T L30p.
The limit was set by Sony to 32Gb.
I installed on it a 64Gb sdcard, the Xperia T recognized immediatly the card and I have used this card near 2 years till I bought my P2 4 months ago.

I am inquiring if the "SanDisk 1TB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 120MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card - SDSQUA4-1T00-GN6MA" from the Scandisk store or Newegg website will work in the Shield as well?
