i have tried myself. To Start the Video Recording doesnt work.
With my SW2 start a Video record is no Problem.

I have a problem when I launch the camera app.
If I run the application at night or if my phone is on the table , there is a purple halo that appears half a second.
Is it a person can do the test with the phone on a table and tell me if the same phenomenon appears ? Thank you :good::good:

Yes, why is this a problem, I assume it's something to do with the camera adjusting to lack of light.
I made a video on youtube but as I am new to the forum , I can not post it

Every time I install cardboard application the VR screen is distorted I tried uninstalling the application but it doesn't work. I reinstalled the application and scanned the QR code on my VR headset but the screen is still distorted. I scanned another VR code of another headset but the picture is it still distorted any fix to this ?

The left side of the screen is complete but the right side of the screen is not complete so the VR picture is distorted and I have two lines in the middle
I tried cardboard app also on redmi note 5 and sane problem is present

I spoke too soon. The viewpoint issues have been fixed, but the video quality is horrendous. The same videos I used to test under 8.1 look like garbage on Pie.
I have just updated to Pie. Everything stayed the same for me
Which app are you using? I am using official Cardboard app and Fulldive VR.
PS. I had fingerprint gestures working all the time.
EDIT: Well, not everything, but left/right zones are still not equal.

Which ROM version are you on?

Zoom 20x, night mode optimisation, better image stabilisation, bluetooth and NFC optimisation ...
Ok now you have an advanced stabilisation mode. When you use it on video you are stuck on 1080P automatic fps (25/30 fps). It same to work pretty well because you can see really the difference without it.
