Can i use dash charger for our honor 8 pro for fast charging?? Is it possible or it will damage the soc??
Please reply to this thread...... Tia
Dash charger output is 6.5V at 3A.where huawei honor 8 pro is 5v at 3Ais not suppoted quick charging 3.0.
My suggestion is dont use the charger it is not good.
I will test but i dont have honor 8 pro present.
It may charge faster, but don't do it, it will damage the battery after a while.
It wont suddenly damages but it lately u will see the battery drain.

As long as it dint heatup your device, you can use a dash charger to do that. Most likely, the charger which comes in the box should support fast charging. Can i know which dash charger are u talking about? A op5 charger?

Yeah i also saw it at Amazon.de and Giztop. It will work but not faster than normal charger. Huawei Mate 20 X is max 22.5W.

Yeh, i know ;D , but is always nice have a fast fast charger.
XD
Will it be OK to charge it with other chargers such only 1A or 2A? I have some Samsung chargers and Anker.
The Huawei charger works better than the OnePlus One charger even if is lower wattage. Charging is not all about the wattage. I actually charged a OnePlus One quicker on the lower wattage Huawei.
Probably will have to wait for the M30X to get Godlike charging of the M20P or buy an iPhone. I heard they give you a super fast charger in the box

Yes of course. I own mate 10 pro which also supports the same 22,5w. I am pleasantly surprised how fast it is charging with normal chargers...
Fast charging i only fast in the beginning anyways, it slows down beginning from roughly 60% getting slower and slower, to make sure the battery stays healthy. So all above lets say 70% is not much slower than the fast charger.

I get that apsect. But this phone has 5000mah battery and probably could actually utilize the 40w better... but wasn't advertised as compatible. Oppo and OnePlus seem to have a more superior regime with higher amps to actually charge even faster with less heat and such ... But would be curious if anyone has tested Mate 20x with 22.5w vs 40w charge block to see if it seems the 40w is possible on 20x.
I tested the Huawei 20w charger with the OnePlus One 6 and it was quicker than the 50 watt OnePlus One charger.

Ok...so I guess Huawei is using similarly high amps to BBK brands. Just looked it up and Oppo Lambo 50w is 10v and 5a.
Still curious if the 20X will pull more than 22.5w on the 40w brick?? Wouldn't change times much, but could be worth having the 40w now and then when you are in a hurry

keep in mind that thing will be fan cooled and is not suitable for use in bedrooms.
fastest qi charging without fan cooling is 15W it seems.
I just ordered one from amazon..."yootech X6".

So much so that I just plugged the USB c cable in to charge.
Hi guys,

What's your point ?
EDIT : DO NOT BUY these ! Quality is excellent, but you will not benefit 27w or 40w charging. "Supercharge" seems to be dedicated to huawei phone. Our Xiaomi will charge, but slowly.
the yootech one I bought works like a charm....TESTED...13W is shown in the display of my USB-Doctor.
This one i great for me..

I am planning on doing the same when I get my Mi 10. I see you are from Germany. I don't know how taxes work there, but when ordering something (from outside the EU) worth more than €22 in Belgium, there are chances of having to pay €15 + 21 % of the total value in taxes. Aren't you worried you might have to pay extra taxes when it arrives? I'm just a bit curious

Same rules apply for Germany but often I've got no choice than to order directly in China.
In Germany only the 20w charger was sold but for a much higher price.
Sadly currently orders from China take much longer than before Corona times (before they usually took 10-20 days, currently it's taking 40-60 days).
About taxation of Chinese orders: the sellers are sometimes cheating by writing a lower price on the package or import it through Poland or Netherlands to avoid tax but I'm not a fan of this behaviour.
Some off-topic: Also ordered the 34" Xiaomi wide-screen monitor directly in China back in November of last year. Paid around 100€ as tax in Germany is 19% (totalling in 85€+15€) but by that time this was cheaper than any available model with the at least the same specs (I saved around 50% compared the other screens as the cheapest available model cost around 1000€ and even with tax I've only paid 550€). It took around 6 months for comparable screens to become as cheap as this. Of course I won't have warranty and service but I'm optimistic ?

I'm from Belgium, too. Yes, risk of taxes are real and you are 100% right. When I order something, I use filters "Shipping from" and select "Spain" or "Poland". Sometimes, they have it and the delivery is quicker than china.
Otherwise, I take a risk if it cost more than 22

Do you leave the wireless charger always connected to the AC socket even when isn't charging?
The furniture that have embedded wireless charger, the mains supply is supposed to be always connected to ac socket, so I guess it's not harmful for the charger to be always connected to AC socket, and I guess it will not consume or will have an marginal consumption of power.
Hello everybody,
I ordered a 55 watt wireless charger from Xiaomi on eBay.
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Xiaomi-55W-...ladegerät-Luftgekühltes-Charging/353241036804
I chose this offer because the dealer ships from Hamburg and I live in Germany.
There is neither a power supply nor a USB-C cable with the wireless charger, so I use the original MI 10 accessories to connect the charger.
My MI 10 was recognized immediately and charged wireless with "Mi Charge Turbo". Since the MI 10 can be charged with a maximum of 30 watts via a USB-C cable, I suspect that "Mi Charge Turbo" comes close to 30 watts with a 55 watt wireless charger. Unfortunately I don't have any hardware to check and verify the values.
I will soon charge the MI 10 from 0% to 100% completely wireless and report on my experiences here.
Two days later...
So, now there are the first insights into charging my Mi 10 with the wireless charger 55W.
I completely discharged the Mi 10 (the phone switched itself off) and then placed it on the wireless charger.
A few seconds later the "Mi Charge Turbo" charging process started. After 1.30 hours the Mi 10 was at 100% charge level.
Nice - I'm happy with the performance.
The best i tried is 10w old xiaomi wireless charger, obviously for night charging

I got both the wireless charger and the OnePlus Buds as Three UK were offering both as a pre-order bonus rather than having to choose one of the other.

I have the sandstone and carbonfiber-ish (aramid?) case plus a super thick silicone case and the charger works fine with all three.
That's so weird... Maybe I should return the base unit?
Edit - it seems to connect for a second, then when I rest it fully in the cradle it starts blinking red and doesn't charge.
NEVER MIND!!! I figured it out from this thread - https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/warp-30-wireless-charger-flashing-red.1228344/#post-21730493
I had stuck a metal plate on the back for attaching to my car mount. Apparently any metal on the back interferes with the charging. I took it off and now it works fine. Super face palm, thanks and sorry guys!
Am I the only person that thinks 50w wireless charging kinda defeats the whole point of wireless charging? For me, wireless charging is a hardware-sympathetic way to charge your battery slower without fatigue on the charging port, or to keep a phone topped off so you don't have to plug it in as often.
50w wireless charging is horribly inefficient because of wasted energy and will likely heat the phone's battery to a crisp. It would also charge way too fast to keep a phone in the 70%-90% sweet spot of charge while sitting at a desk.
I wish OnePlus would put out a 15w wireless charger, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Technically the OnePlus 9 Pro should work with 15w Qi chargers but I haven't seen any advertised as compatible so I'm wary (all I've seen claim to only charge LG phones at 15w).
Pro tip.. you can use the 30w wireless charger from the OnePlus 8 pro and get the same charging speeds! My OnePlus 9 pro charged from 0% to 100% in 43 minutes with the warp 30 wireless...

I can see how some people may view it at pointless but to me the idea of wireless charging is to drop wear and tear on the port. So whilst most of us do charge overnight where high speeds aren't needed. I also like to put on charge if I'm not doing anything for 10-15 minutes (grabbing shower, mowing grass etc) this ensures that I've zero issues with battery being dead later in the day.
Regarding other QI chargers, I also have this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Qi-Certified-Compatible-Fast-Charging-PowerWave/dp/B07DBXZZN3 on my desk which works just fine, haven't really taken note of the speeds it achieves but it certainly charges lol
I just received mine yesterday and it is AMAZING. If anything I could swear its even FASTER than the 65 watt charger that comes with the phone. Today I was going to top it off while I did my morning ablutions. I came back and It had gone from 58% to 100 in barely 20 mins, more like 15 mins. From what Ive read the phone battery stays cooler with this unit as well.

Aw damn, I bought the new charger. But now I have a fast charger in my bedroom and living room. Funnily enough, the 30w charger refuses to charge any of my samsung phones while the new 50w does. It doesn't charge my daughter's iphone either. But I could care less about anything apple and just tell her to get a real phone all the time. Whoa, that went off topic quickly.

Not just the speed charging the 9 Pro, but the versatility at charging other devices as fast as they will allow as well. Same for the brick, charges my S21 Ultra at it's max speed also. Very nice this time around the chargers are useful for more than just OnePlus devices. (I wish it came in black also).

Works fine with poetic guardian case
Works great with the Unicorn Beatle case as well.
Works with any case I've had, even the Damascus dbrand skinned Grip case
Mine is on the way... to me.
Now i charge with 8 Pro 30w wireless charger. Is stupid fast. I have 42% battery. I left the phone on charger for around 15 min. almost 100%.
The 50w one must be faster. With cooler too.
I bought the wireless charger for Vivo x80 pro. Works fine with original 80w charger & original cable. It stays cool with the fun spinning.
Works Great, just like 50w wireless charger worked on Oneplus 9 pro, 10 pro & 30w on 8 pro. I really miss & want that. Now i got it.
The most important thing is that saves usb type C port. Second it charges Fast.
The Greed companies who are full of BS, reached to spectacular speed of 10-15 w max !
Looks god too.
