Hello guys. As you know, mi 10t pro has a adaptivesync 144Hz. So that means I'm able to choose some Hz options as you can see on this photo. So there's any way to choose 120Hz without root / PC ? Any comments are appreciated.

You can go to Settings > Display > Refresh Rate and choose 144 Hz. However, AdaptiveSync will change the refresh rate according to the content on your display. No movie or video nowadays can be encoded more than 60fps unless special softwares and codes are used. So, the display will shift to 60Hz to sync with movie frame rate. And there is no workaround for that yet!

Thanks for your comment. So I'm playing a few games which supports 90 and 120 fps. But everytime i have to select 90Hz before I launch the game. Otherwise Game Turbo shows that the game runs at 144FPS which is not true. So if somehow I can select that 120Fps, would be great
As far as I understand your concern, there must not be any issue with game turbo showing game running at 144 Hz, it just selected the (upto)144 Hz Refresh rate. AdaptiveSync will automatically sync at 120 Hz (which is between 90 and 144 Hz) with game refresh rate.
If you choose 90Hz before you start the game, Refresh rate will go upto 90 Hz only instead of 120 Hz.

Howdy...
I've been wondering how the Samsung S9 with Snapdragon behaves when throttling.
it's very easy to test... just run this app called CPU throttling Test and take a look at Temperature, Clock and Performance.
This is a Screenshot from my Sony Xperia XZ2:

You can clearly see the Temperature reaching a critical point and the Performance dropping, while Frequency stays at the same 2.8ghz.
Here we have a OP 6 which does show the same behaviour... no Frequency Limit!
Looking at the SD835 Essential Phone:
or the even older SD820 HTC 10:
We do see a CPU Frequency Limit on both devices.
So... is this Max Frequency yet still reduced Performance a Snapdragon 845 thingy?
Simply do the Test for 2-5 minutes (until throttling becomes obvious) and we will know.
P.S going to Options and chaging Threads from 20 to 7 might totally change the behaviour of this test!
P.P.S Go into Options and correctly set Thermal Zones! If you don't know which nr is what... Terminal / ADB shell "for file in sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone*/type; do echo "$file"; cat "$file"; done"
Greetings,
Haldi
Somebody made a video with 3 SD 845 phones, but he got higher performance, did you change number of threads from default 20 and where phones cold when you begin testing?
I can't post a link, just search "OnePlus 6 vs Sony XZ2 vs Xiaomi Black Shark" on youtube.
Hi I've flashed the unofficial A.07 rom on to my 9RT. From what I've read about the marketing of the 9RT, it's supposed to have a 300hz touch sampling rate, up to 600hz while gaming?
But this is not the case in my testing.

I've tried 2 different apps to test the touch sampling rate and they both report 125hz. I've even tried adding the apps to the "Games" app and launched them from there, with no change.
Can other users of the 9RT test this and report back here? Also is there a way to change the sampling rate in some settings?
The "touch sensitivity" and "touch handedness" settings in the game overlay do not seem to do anything in my testing either, would be great to have someone shed some light on what they adjust.
Thanks

It's the same for me in that app and I tried a different app with the same results.
I recently got my phone and I am frequently experiencing a really annoying issue: while I'm browsing reddit, facebook, etc. the touchscreen appears to be overly sensitive, so whenever I scroll holding my finger on the screen, when I lift my thumb at the end it registers a small scrolling movement making the display jitter/jump slightly. I have the "touch sensitivity" settings turned off and I do use a glass screen protector but that wasn't an issue with my previous 200$ Xiaomi.
Is it a defective unit, or are all S21 FEs like this? Is there a fix expected? Otherwise I will consider returning my phone.
I don't have this issue but, I don't use screen protection and the screen refresh rate is set to 60Hz (and sure, "touch sensitivity" is also set to off)
Did you try with both refresh rates?
What processor version does your S20 FE have?
Mine is the Snapdragon one
It's the Snapdragon version and switching between 60 or 120hz doesn't make a difference
Experiencing the same issue and reported it to samsung via the members app.
I've made a screen recording in 60 fps using scrcpy and the touch debugging enabled while viewing a grid paper PDF.
You can clearly see on many swipes where there is a random 1 or 2 sample points extra when the finger lifts off. It seems to be mostly triggered when trying to do precise movements, like trying to align the grid to the edge.
Hi Team
I can confirm, that I was facing the same issue right after the purchase of the phone. But after the latest update, the issue is finally solved for me ;-)
Attaching the screenshot with the SW version number :

Hi
Is there any possibility to change screen resolution on this model....I don't mean refresh rate.
All the best
For this time no, only FHD+ is defualt and no change
Unfortunately no.
Yes using the galaxy Hz app which also gives you adaptive refresh rate, I highly recommend the app

Where can I Find it..could you show this in English, please
Dpi refers to dots per inch (pixels per inch), it has nothing to do with the screen resolution since the latter cannot be changed. It alters the render of texts mostly. The higher value, the smaller text basically.
You can, in theory, do this with root or adb. In a terminal (adb shell or su if rooted) you have to type "wm size 720x1600" or whatever resolution you want. Then do "wm density 280" or some other value, depending on the resolution you set. Obviously you can't change the resolution to 1440p, or at least it won't make the display any sharper but will use unnecessary power. Also this might break the fingerprint sensor, not sure. You can always change back with "wm size 1080x2400" and "wm density 420".
EDIT: Actually the fingerprint sensor seems to work fine, good job Samsung!
Request to all OnePlus 11 users to request this feature on Op11 next update. It seems almost every new device have it and currently a much needed feature. This feature allows users to force 120hz refresh rate on specific app like YouTube, gallery app which is locked at 60hz and it makes the visual and touch experience kinda laggy. Attached screenshots and video is from Xiaomi Mi13 pro, Vivo Iqoo 11 and even upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 have it.

Are you sure 120 will be better, even if the OS is what is locking it? Might be the apps locking it as well.
Do phones who can force it to increase report better performance?

Yes there is no issue as my cousin owns Mi13 pro and I had Iqoo 11 with me for like 15 days, there is almost zero issues
There is no performance improvement it's rather better touch feeling in scrolling and gaming
Sure, feature to force 120Hz would be nice to some people but I personally wait for OOS update to fix the refresh for apps without forcing anything. I don't believe some people from ColorOS/OOS team made their official gallery app to be available only in 60Hz. That would be insane. Same for YT.
You can force 120hz system-wide by using this method
