My G3 was reported as stolen (presumably by the seller) shortly after I bought it, so the IMEI was blocked on my network. I sent the phone to the US for repair and, after some hassle and a complaint to Paypal, I received it it by return post almost 6 weeks later. Not sure if I can mention the "repair" company here but PM me for details, if you'd like them.
The phone now works on Edge / 3G but will not connect to any Australian 4G network. I've tried flashing the European (4.4.2) tot and Australian 5.0 tot but the situation persists. In slight desperation, I'll try the Hong Kong tot later today but in the meantime, does anyone know of a solution?
Possibly useful info:
There is no EFS backup.
The (new) IMEI is displayed in Phone Information and with the "06" code entered in the phone.
The model number is D855 (not D855K or any other variant)
The phone was rooted and running (I think) ANHD Lollipop when it was sent in for repair.*
Extensive searching has not produced anything that has been of use.
LTE is available in Network Selection and it sticks after reboot, so no need to use 'hidden menu', delete system files, etc...
* Probably the cause. The only instructions given were to send the phone without SIM or external SD card.
Have you tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54621213&postcount=26
Or this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/mod-root-activate-lte-g3-t2819387
Yes. It's nothing to do with settings, I think. I have LTE in settings, no problem. It just won't connect to any band n the hidden menu (I tried each one). Seems that the Australian LTE bands have been knocked out, somehow.
Just discovered that the phone will not connect to data network if GSM only is selected but GSM/WCDMA will switch between EDGE/3G (H - no H+)
HK .tot file did not resolve the problem.

I have a article about this, but its in Turkish, with pictures of course and links for necessary files, will you please traslate the link and just read the second part only , starting as restoring qcn bacup, if you are on kitkat, if you are lollipop please downgrade to kitkat first ( also link to kitkat kdz ).
I have necessary qcn too, if you need it (not the one in the article a better one).
Feel free to ask anything after you look at it.
I will write an English article too in a couple of days, if you are stuck on translated one, you wait for it too.

You are wellcome, this is the way it should be i think. I'm old enough who knows sharing is a must ..
http://www.androidbrick.com/qualcomm-snapdragon-imei-tamiri-ders-4-qualcomm-snapdragon-imei-repair/ , the trick is to "zero" necessary partitions, and put your original imei in an orginal untouched qcn backup of your version. You can see it in the pictures of this article. Your 3 partition that holds this info are 21, 22 and 24.

Improved Android? .. Yes, please! You are wellcome..
Hello fellas,
This thread mainly only suggesting about Debloating Safely before even start it... it was only a small problem, but CAN SAVE YOU VERY WELL ON THE FUTURE.
Based on my experience after rooting my device, Tab S 8.4 Lollipop 5.1.1, using Kingroot, successfully fyi...
The problems arise after i was being greedy on free RAM. I looked on threads about debloating and which ones are safe to remove. And it is safe. But one thing, i deleted VpnDialogs.apk on priv-app folder on root..
So the main solution is to use Titanium Backup Pro (has to be pro to do this), to freeze the services/apps you consider as bloatwares.. so that, in case of errors, you can safely defrost them on the future.
Sincerely,
TOMMY
NB. If you have a Samsung Galaxy tab S 8.4 (Sm-T705), on lollipop 5.1.1, if you like, you may send the missing file to me (\system\priv-app\), the folder inside them, named "VpnDialogs", includes the one file inside it, VpnDialogs.apk... I will be so grateful to report here my experience in repairing misdebloated sm-t705... my email is [email protected]
The link below might help.

John
Hello everybody.
I have a problem. I had a bootloop on my Blackview BV9000 Pro F so I had to reset the phone. But I wanted to backup my data with some tools, so I have to root this phone, to get to the deleted contacts.
My problem now is, that I can not root the phone. There are several pages, they found a solution (in this forum too), but every link is a dead link or the images aren't compatible with my phone.
What did I do, till now:
I ask for the newest ROM by Blackview - they didn't give me an answer or even post my question to their forum (maybe, because they're in holiday???)
I did unlock the phone, but can not find the right version of twrp for my phone. (Links are dead or not the right version)
Download and started the SP Flash Tool
Understand a little bit, how the partitions on the phone are made.
What do I have:
Phone: Blackview BV9000 Pro F
Buildnumber: BV_BV9000PRO_F_V0.7_20190321
Adroid Version: 8.0.0
I want to undelete my data, as far as possible. So I need help to root it.
Thanks and have a nice day.
Greetings from germany,
Kal
Company closed, because of Corona Virus?
Does someone know, if they closed because of the Corona Virus?
I asked some questions and posted some messages on their forum … but nothing happens … I got no answer or can see any post of me.
Greetings
Kal
PS.: No, everything is OK - they posted something else on the website … I have to wait …
The new ROM is online …
Hello again … it is finaly online, the right ROM for this phone (http://bbs.blackview.hk/viewtopic.php?f=213&t=341480). Now I have a question on how to make TWRP "compatible" with this.
Or try it in this way:
What do I need for drivers and so on, to make a boot partition, to flash TWRP on my phone.
Can someone do it or explain, how to do it?
Greetings,
Kal
