We should expect LG to be allowing bootloader unlocking given the fact they've released it http://opensource.lge.com/osSch/list?types=ALL&search=LMF100

Hello,
I'm buying a LG G4 off ebay and I'm wondering what should I test out to make sure that the phone is genuine and everything is working properly. I mean, I'll test the Bluetooth, WiFi, camera, etc. but is there anything else, for example, check its IMEI or run an Antutu test...What would you guys test out?
Thanks in advance.
Bench mark it then check your score with other g4 online
That would also tell you what hardware its packing..
IF YOUR getting the g4 h815 then logon to the lg website hook up the g4 if its the h815 model and unlock the boot loader then you would know for sure. If you don't know what I'm going on about just do a quick google for lg g4 unlocked bootloader
Which one LG G3 is best to buy and which one is best for rooting and other purposes?
Also which one got marshmallow updates?
Thanks in advance
Maybe he found a G3 that was cheaper than $25
I used to have an LG G3 and while it was a good phone when I had it, the Droid Turbo is a far superior phone. If I was somehow interested in getting another G3 i'd import the Korea Only snapdragon 805 version.

Well, of the options you show the T-mobile LG G3 bootloader is already unlocked from the factory.

I want that whose I can unlock easily. I have third that carrier phone of this model don't work good. Is it true?
Hello, I use a smartphone called Lg q9 in Korea. I found out on Google that Lg q9 is the same model as LG g7 Fit.
So if you guys have a bootloader key, or if you're using a vulnerability to unlock the bootroder, can you help me?
This is intended to be a community effort! Please submit any info or corrections you can offer.
I have used all the major carriers in the US and found Verizon to provide the most reliable service for my purposes (regrettably, despite their intrusive practices). I am a power-user and sometimes require root access to improve my overall experience, like using adblockers. Finally, I tend to use my devices for longer than the average device gets OS updates.
Given all of this; I always have a hard time finding bootloader unlocked or rootable phones for Verizon in the US, and my searches indicate that I am not alone.
To my knowledge there is no current, community maintained of moddable phones for Verizon US. Unless someone has found such a list and can share it, I'd love to try to make that list here. I'll need help!!
The List (draftwill need to be organized):
Verizon Certified
Moto X (2014)
Essential PH-1
Google Pixel 1,2,3,3a (non-verizon models)
OnePlus 6T?
Nexus 5x, 6, 6P
Sony Xperia XZ2 Family (Verizon certified)
Not Certified, but works
Moto E4
Moto G5(S) & G6 Play / Standard
Moto X4
Moto Z2
LG G5 RS988
LG G6 US988
LG V20 & V30 US Unlocked Variants
LG G7 (Don't know if there's a flashable recovery yet)
Unsure of support / Needs verification:
-OnePlus 7/t/Pro
-Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite (US Model - no, b/c snapdragon, right?)

The LG G7 has been my favorite phone. Of those of you that have moved on from the G7, what did you go to? I'd like to stay with LG. What's the next step up that is as good or better?
Some people have the LG V60 ThinQ and like it. But I don't know about this phone. I do know only the European version supports bootloader unlock.
