recovery not open oneplus 3

my oneplus3 recovery not open
I am flash my stock recovery but same problem
thes problem face whene flash twrp 3.0.2.0 fast time
open but next time not open.
whene I open recovery jast show oneplus logo.....

I have the same problem too!! I happened after installing the community builds, sometimes it allows me to flash the TWRP but will not let me boot into recovery. the only thing I have left to do is turn off and on, but obviously the TWRP no longer exists although just flashed (will start recovery stock).

What ROM were you on??
If you were on the community builds, you will have to flash the modified twrp 3.0.2-19.

Okay. You need modified twrp 3.0.2-19. Search the forums and you'll find the image.

It worked!!! Thanks a lot i was really frustrated that I couldn't get a working recovery on my OP3

Assistance regarding a possible bricked op3

Hi guys, I searched around the forum before posting this so I apologize but I recently installed a new rom and possibly a wrong kernel with it. Afterwards, if I try to turn it on, it just shows the logo and then turns right off. I can't even go into recovery since it does the same. The only thing I can do is boot it into fastboot but I'm not sure where to go from here. I tried using a guide with no success.
Any words of wisdom?

reflash your recovery via fastboot, then boot into recovery and do a clean install
fastboot flash [recovery].img

I tried reflashing recovery but all it does is show the old rom logo that was used and then shuts down.

which rom did you flash? You need the correct twrp file for your bootloader.

That's the first place I tried. Anytime I hook-up my phone to the PC it shows up as OnePlus Android bootloader interface under Android phone and I can't seem to update the drivers..

I'm still on stock and stick to one slot so this new update is very welcome, now that it can finally decrypt! Appreciate the heads up regardless though =) :highfive:

You should be okay to flash that mod (I don't know which one it is exactly so don't hold me responsible); but I'm pretty sure you should be okay without worrying about slots, for this at least

Yes, if your still on 8.1, there's no trouble with it at all. Fastboot the new twrp.img, enter twrp, flash the twrp.zip, then kernel.zip, then magisk.zip. I would, for this new update, still remove your screen lock security just to be safe. Then add it back in, and you'll be fine :good:

Go ahead if you'd like. I Was merely pointing out the safe and tested method that I, and many others use to upgrade. The P2XL is a little bit of a finicky beast. I've read too many stories over the last 3 months with bootloops and soft bricks by others doing simple flashing procedures that worked fine on other nexus devices, but crap a brick on this thing. Therefore, I don't take chances

So I have to boot into temporary recovery with adb and than flash the updated trwp img

The procedure is as follows...
1. Put the new twrp.img in your platform-tools folder.
2. In bootloader/fastboot mode type fastboot boot twrpxxxx.img. That'll boot you into temp twrp .
3. In temp twrp, flash the new twrp.zip, then kernel.zip, then magisk.zip
4. Reboot, done :good:

Yes. There have been reported issues with bootloops if you don't flash your custom kernel and magisk at the end.

how and which official rom to instal on my redmi note 5 (china/AI)

I got Redmi note 5 (china/AI) version with oreo out of the box and all good but i wanted to get rid of chinese bloatware and stuff. so i installed global official rom which turned out to be for indian Redmi note 5 pro and now i cant use camera. So I am trying to go back or install beta version or install twrp for this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...dmi-note-5-china-ai-to-leaked-global-t3782175) but i cant even install twrp. followed the methods still cant. any tips or guidance plz. my bootloader is unlocked.
tried installing twrp through XiaoMiTool, "device unautorized"
tried through Cmd, all worked and after reboot it was supposed to go to twrp automatically but it didnt and got boot up, i went to recovery manually but still stock recovery.
Now what to do ? need global rom for chinese variant which is in .tgz file so that MiTool can flash it. or tell me a way to flash roms in zip format.
Downloaded official roms from http://en.miui.com/download-342.html#513 both roms were in zip file. both roms didnt install the way described in Flashing guide (update app, search downloaded_rom and flash)
MiTool didnt flash them
MiFlash didnt install them.

Did you execute this command - fastboot boot twrp.img right after this command - fastboot flash recovery twrp.img? You need to boot to twrp first before you reboot. If even after reboot twrp gets replaced by stock recovery, then you need to repeat the fastboot process again and then flash lazyflasher in twrp.

You're welcome bro. I didn't do much. You might've missed this basic step when dealing twrp with miui roms. It's a slight effort. Anyway, enjoy this beast.

when access the first screen of twrp ，it stucks，seemed reading the partions，for a minute，it flashed（like reboot，i cannot descripbe it well for my suck English） into same screen
now my phone can boot into fastboot normally ，can boot into system normally
but i flash many twrps，yet no one work correctly

Looks like A12 problem
i never suggested using it
reflash TWRP + VBMETA and clean flash a stable rom
stop looking for problems
