I did, but somehow it's getting replaced with stock recovery. wierd!
It didn't boot with "fastboot boot OnePlus9Pro-twrp3.5.1-recovery.img".
The binary doesn't start with "ANDROID!" so I think it's corrupted.

Yikes indeed! Thanks for reporting back your findings, I'm looking forward to when we have a legit custom recovery on this bad boy haha
Yeah, I wouldn't try something like twrp without sources being public.
This doesn't seem like a proper built, more like a broken port of some sort.
Hmm someone tried this? Is it really working for the device and what can we do ? From the first post it's weird normally it wouldn't be shared like this without s source code ain't it ?
OnePlus 9Pro twrp3.5.1 Auto Decrypt 21.6.11 Released on.

Please use the temporary boot image function of the residual core tool to start twrp

doesn't boot, Def not flashing
Yeah, this does not boot at all...
I'm so glad though that someone, somewhere - is working on this. That's promising. TWRP is peace of mind, if nothing else.
Hope that someone can get this working.

Whew! Some commotion. Please relax folks, your devices are not under siege (or are they?). Let's resolve this peacefully. There's enough madness in this world as it is @zhangyao989 Please get back to my PM which you will receive shortly.
Thank you all for your input, both inside and outside of this thread. It just shows how alive this community is. I love it.

[Update] After careful consideration, this thread will remain closed as source to this TWRP release could not be provided (for free). Recoveries are released under GPLv3, which mandates releasing the (adjusted) source. Closed source releases of kernels and/or recoveries are detrimental to the development landscape. We can only move forward as a community if development remains open and free.
I kindly invite you all to report any posts or threads that include a link to source-less TWRP releases. You'll be doing the development community a huge favor. Thank you all for your cooperation!
As always, questions or remarks are most welcome in my PM box.

Hello everyone, I thought we could start some Ubuntu Touch porting so wanted to share thoughts, ideas, development and maybe do this as a community work. I'm currently preparing everything (slow adsl) and trying to figure out which are the steps to be followed
It's not very difficult according to: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting
But we've a first problem, the porting requires the use of CM10.1 repos and cm10.1 for our device is a bit of a dream atm, better, there's the repo but no nightly at all. Would we be able or would it be worth to try to use one of the cm10.1 porting available for the hox or we must wait for an official nightly?
I think I should give a try, but I don't really want to waste my time so I may be missing something important which absolutely requires the official repos.
Ideas?
P.s sorry if this isn't the most appropriate section, tell me and even move the thread if necessary, but I'd prefer to stay away from "nice thanks", "fantastic" and so posts, they make no sense now since it's too soon and just distract.
Can't we use tbalden's kernel and device trees? It's as official as it gets.

You mean this https://github.com/cyanogenmod/android_device_htc_endeavoru? I haven't followed cm10.1 porting and development very much so it's pretty much what I was asking, when compiling a rom starting from this repo, will it work?

The builds from that repo have all been really solid. I guess it'll serve as a base.
Thanks, will start from it tomorrow, it's midnight here and still waiting for the download to finish...
Moved to Q&A
Nevermind this post.
I'm trying to port it too but download is really slow. We have CM10.1 for our device. but i think it's juste usefull to boot.
Keep following your work too.
I've synced 3 hrs now and only have fetched 2Gb. They should probably invest in some servers.
lol... my download crashed during the night... now i'm at 88% for phablet.. and waiting also for CM10.1...
Edit: My download crashed again at 15.45 pm...... i'll become crazy...
Call to all:
I've finished the actual porting process. Now I have to iron out compiling errors. Hopefully I'll be able to boot soon!

yes but ATM it's impossible to have the complete repo...
tell you the WIP as soon it's possible....
Built 2nd and 3rd time, not booting.
Debugging is extremely difficult because logcat seems to be broken.

Looks nice and all, but I will never install another one of your builds, the way you have installation set up, it hijacked my whole phone and screwed up the partitions and even had trouble getting into recovery again, all said and done I still had to re-root phone, never again, your builds need to got to a traditional way of installation like everyone elses so it will not screw their phones up and give them problems.....thanks but no thanks.
Hi bro,
Thank you for your sharing my rom here. A menber already post it on xda forum few month ago but I asked him lock the topic.
Can you lock this thread, I dont want my rom is here any more. Thank you for your understading.

Maybe I'm missing something, but aroma installation is almost the standard method now. What's different?
@Arctic Prodigy, if you paid close attentions or even read the post, you'll know that the ROM is not mine! I CLEARLY Stated that It is not my work, i am just posting it here to benefit the respectful people of XDA Forum. Other than that, please read the Changelog, and don't judge without trying. Doesn't matter whose ROM it is, if it happens to screw peoples phones up they should know about it, may not be your build, but you are definitely providing it.
Calm down guys. The thread will be locked and no phones will the damaged.
OP seeing that you requesting the thread be locked, can you also delete the download links? Are you not wanting the Rom to be downloaded? If so, please delete the download link from the 1st post.
Cheers
Thread closed and download links removed....the ROM original developers as stated in the post above....does not want it to be posted here.
This looks like a pretty hard nut to crack. I don't know exactly what caused it. I was rooted for a few days and was just reflashing Magisk (messing about you could say) when it turned up. Previously, I just had the warning with yellow text which is what everyone gets after unlocking the bootloader. So here goes the overview, please bear with me:
===> I reset the phone by flashing OnePlus5TOxygen_43_OTA_006_all_1712062242_69a5125fb2eb4d87.ZIP (OxgengenOS 4.7.4). <===
Exact steps on how I did that:
1) I flashed the stock recovery image via fastboot ( I got it from Oneplus's website)
2) I booted into the stock recovery I flashed in step 1 and flashed the entire ZIP (the one with the long name above). Probably flashed the recovery twice but yeah.
But no dice. It will absolutely not go away. The zip does not contain any other IMG's apart from boot.img and recovery.img so I can't really flash other partitions like system via fastboot. I CAN flash system via my nandroid backup, and I did, but that still did not help.
Here is the error I got. It's from a google search but it resembles the error on the OPO5T very nicely. So can the experts chime in please?

Not used to posting my own answer but maybe this will help someone. You need a full reflash with the Qualcomm tools. OPO support can do this, or anyone with the flashing tool, the correct firmware image, and drivers (the latter being easy to find).
There are tutorials online to do this, the only thing missing is the correct firmware image.
To summarise the requirements:
1) Qualcomm drivers (easy to find)
2) Qualcomm Flash tool MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe (fairly easy to find)
3) The correct *.ops firmware image (hard to find and you need the password)
Yeah we had been trying to crack the password with no success, hopefully someone will, thank u for the info

For OnePlus 5T "OxygenOS 4.7.2-171116.zip" it is exactly 10 characters. The driver RAR-password is a lot longer (>20). Don't even try to brutefoce that.
If we already have the opt file someone could just set up a keylogger on their machine and have op support do the remote flash and thus capture the password from them lol

Do you mean you have the first three? If so can you share or PM it? Not sure if you mean that brute forcing has reached only a permutation of 4 characters.

And it's still trying to decrypt, I am at something aroun

I tried it, but ran into some problems...
At first I flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_V10.4.2.0.PDECNXM_v10-9.zip and then M.A.R.S.XUAV.19.08.28
Everything looked good, no errors. Then reboot. I can enter SIM PIN but after that, Screen goes on and off. Android Setups pop´s up, 1 step forward and 1 back (and I'm still doing nothing), Screen goes on and off and so on....
ps.: tried it with and without SIM Card... Same behavior.

So i have updated the ReadME and Infos about that. MIUI is a really strange Android Fork and i haven't had the Features working that i think are essential for Me and the Project. That's why i drifted the foucs back to AOSP for now again. I wish i had a Teammate who would make a MIUI Version that lacks of the XUA (Xiaomi Universal AOSP) full feature set, that would mean just to much work for Me right now since i'm already working up to 8Hrs per day on the main Patch... So You flashed XUA which is meant for AOSP. I would recommend You to try Lineage OS or Havoc Official. They run both with the full feature set and without bigger Problems right now (Check GitHub Issues for Bugs).
Hope You will enjoy the expierence! More Updates are coming! BR
Sry, my mistake. Didn't read that ^^
I stay with MIUI because I really like it more than these AOSP Roms.
But I wish you success with this Project. Looks really good.
Greetings from Leipzig
First Users on Discord reported it works on Mi 9 and Mix 2 (Various ROMs). We just had a issue with CPU Loads which will be fixed in V.19.08.29. Everything is super fluid and performing well. Audio is awesome compared to stock or normal AOSP... Really proud of it right now.
I will also move from GitHub to Google Drive and My Homepage since GitHub is problematic in many Views. More Threads for other Devices are coming and i hope the Community will grow fast.
@gitsbash No Problem! You're welcome to give it a try at any time!

If You want Help , ask another Way...
Yeah right. That's the easiest thing to do because you can't explain how MARS really helps. You throw around too much jargon on what you have done and how it'ssupposed to work. But you have a hard time explaining why we need a software that takes more memory than our ROM to make it fast. Counter-intuitive. What does it actually do?

(time to update pic..)
So guys, I sold my OnePlus6 over a year ago but OnePlus just announced that H2OS A11 will be coming out in August!
That's why I decided to try and port it earlier for these two phones. With help from testers & TeamViewer.
Unfortunately the port is pretty difficult to work on so things are going quite slow
but I thought I'd release an early build for those who just can't wait anymore and update it whenever something is fixed.
Features:
Stock OnePlus 7 OxygenOS Open Beta 4 / Android 11 Firmware
Debloated
Automated Flasher
Decrypted
Performance tweaks
What works:
Almost everything, check bugs!
What doesn't work / Bugs:
Dolby
Face Unlock
WiFi saves network but doesn't connect
About Phone is kinda empty
FP on OP6 (FOD on 6T should be fine although untested in latest build)
Vibrations
// Official A11 vendor would help me a lot with these but we will see.
How to Install:
Make sure You're on OOS Open Beta Q or H2OS Q for Android 10
Note: Backup Your nudes before flashing the rom!
Note2: You have to flash EPR before flashing this ROM! Remember to be on EPR slot!
Reboot to fastboot
Run flasher.bat
After it will finish flashing, Your phone will automatically reboot into OOS Recovery
Now reboot to fastboot
Fastboot boot TWRP of Your choice
Flash TWRP.zip
Reboot and enjoy!
Check screenshots in attached images!
Download:
OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 4 - OnePlus6 & 6T
Warning! DO NOT flash OP7 OTA's! They may brick Your phone! If You end up flashing one anyway, just use EDL mode or fastboot to go back to stock firmware.
