Strange battery eating process (logd) using up 20%?

My battery life has gone downhill in the last few days (i upgraded to MM on my european 815) and there's this one process that seems to be to blame but i can't find anything about it online.
Does anyone know what this could be?

Same for me. Once I upgraded no problem but few days later my SoT is so low..

I found a way ?

Strange but my unrooted MM G4 battery also seems to be better after removing GSam but now I cannot check if logd is still hogging.
Is there any other program I can use to see if this process is still on?

Hello,
I'm currently using Package disabler to block a lot of apps but even like that the A5 continues to be by far less reactive than my "simple" p8 lite 2017 (for example, an app install on the p8 is something like 3x faster than A5) ...
So can I expect better speed with root and encryption OFF ??

Faster processor and less storage to deal with on the P8.

I don't think this can explain so much difference. It may be something else... eMMC type perhaps.

Just found the culprit in A5: antivirus. I disabled it with Package disabler (Protection, package com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity).
Install times are now the same on a5 and p8 ...

For all apk, say problem during analyzing and of course not be able to install :crying:
I think I haven't problem with API2 because all of my versions of Google Cam work.
Any suggestions?

Downloaded with PC under windows, and installed after on Mix 2
But really only stikers with Google Cam work, other app on playstore ask for another version of ARCore.

Installed the first two APKs, the third one is missing. ARCore by Google in Play Store shows up as installed, but incompatible with this device.
Doesn't seem to work - I don't see any new icon and can't install an app that depends on ARCore like com.ken.arsensor from Play Store.
I'm on Mi Mix 2 OPR1.170623.027 / MIUI Global 10.0 | table 10.0.2.0(ODEMIFH).

is there a de-bloated version of miui 11.0.1 global, nothing wrong with the rom except the bloat and possible spyware
it would be nice is some developer cold strip out the crap, or give a choice on install to have it or not, or better apps
to replace the possible spyware and add versions of apps, wish list.

Well technically everything's bloatware if you don't use it...but...eu roms have all the unnecessary chinese bloatware removed,ads blocked,and few more optimization and tweaks..I even debloat it further like fm,mi browser,mi video,quick ball, email and few more ....
Find eu stable for redmi note 8t here

I aggree that eu rom has no chinese bloatware but, if you want to get rid for example the MIUI Gallery, you can just remove it with ADB command.

There is..made one myself for EU weekly rom...if you want one lemme know what all apps you want to remove I'll maybe just modify my zip and upload here...

write your list here. i also have 1 that used on rn5 but am not sure if i should debloat. as i think it may create wakelocks like cloud i dont need but something could want to use cloud and itll stay there creaating a wakelock.

ive tried it. its even fster than .EU and miuimix. but to be honest i hate how the dev behaves. insulting users. he has not insulted me but was in telegram group and decided to leave. thanks anyway.
forgot to mention. miuimix seems shady. as they claim better battery with modified magisk and recomends not to update magisk. how could this be.?? and when questioned they do not answer. besides sometimes you need latest magisk or some modules wont install.

Question Game turbo gpu settings

Hello everyone, I can't find gpu settings in game turbo. I already put the turbo in horizontal mode. I saw some video where you have to edit some table (gputuner_switch) to true, but it's already done. I updated manually the security app with some APK from APK mirror but still can found it. It's only for some game, or do I miss something?

Most likely you won't be able to find it ever...
Xiaomi or Qualcomm locked all recent 870 CPUs...
You are not able to clock them past 683mhz... ( 670 is stock )
So yeah ... Unless Xiaomi has a way to override chip lock somehow and even then that would only be 1 to 2 years from now the soonest if ever...

They are there ... If ur talking about display tunables .
As for other stuff there's a way to enable more options:
Download setedit and change in global table the parameter called GPU tunner from false to true.
After that go to security app and clear data + uninstall updates ( I'm not sure if uninstalling updates is necessary so please try without uninstalling updates and let me know if it works ? )
After that open game boost , go to settings enable horizontal mode, return to add games menu and wait there for 30 seconds at least.
Close the app after that , remove it from recents as well .
And you're good to go , when you open the app again you'll see that everything has changed and more options are available including graphic tunables.

Ur not doing something correct then... Check if in setedit the GPU switch is set to true.
I tried it on the eea as well and it works

Use Konabess. You can modify your GPU frequencies and voltages patched & flashed directly to you device in a clean way. Just make sure you know what you're doing.

Never saw anyone speaking about adb commands on this post. About the video the OP author mentioned AFAIK they recommend using SetEdit apk but that requires special permissions that not every user know so I decided to help with the direct ADB command, but I'm glad that you, Mr. KnowItAll, helped the OP author with you amazing knowledge.

We are in the same boat. Did you find any solution now? I got it working earlier, but now ...
- using another APK is not working
- giving the global property via ADB "GPUTUNER_SWITCH" a true also not working
- everything else from different videos also not working

Nop I gave up rn, I did too all solutions proposed, gputuner, WiFi static, clean cache, etc, nothing worked. So right now I wait, it's sad because I would really love to tweaks gpu rendering etc :/

Yeah so EEA, Europe, I think the bug is on EEA, most people here are on global (no eu) and can fix it easily, so maybe it's not implemented on EEA rom?
