Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Wow !

Nice work as always @LuK1337.
I noticed that setprop persist.radio.multisim.config does not persist on reboot. Any idea?

I noticed in the wiki that my LE2127 is not on the list of supported OP 9 Pro's. Any reason for this? Thanks

We only claim to support retail devices. While carrier branded devices will likely work just fine, we don't have instructions for these nor do we guarantee them working.

Woohoo!!!!!! Thank you
Going to nuke my LE2127 when I get home.

If all else fails MSM back to stock
But, I think it won't work due to how T-Mobile has their modem setup. Will check after work later today and advice!

Wow, thank you for giving it a try. LineageOS is one of my favorite ROM's, but I have not had a device that can use it in a long time now. Loved seeing the news today that the OP 9 Pro was added, but then saddened that mine isn't. Good luck with yours. I like this phone better than my S20 Ultra.

I wouldn't worry that much about the modem, we should be forcing single sim by default for all NA devices.

Gapps package mindthegapps right?

I have a question about the other download link, is that also a working recovery for Lemonadep? Would it work ok for any other roms/zip/etc?
Thanks for your work.

Though post here if you could get it working on LE2127.

Can anyone tell me if FOD is functional in this build?

Also, the instructions tell how to force it to copy all of slot a to slot b to make sure they are equal. What if my device is currently booting b? How do i make it copy to slot A lol

WARNING: These are my personal testing builds. They include unmerged, work-in-progress stuff such as SuperUser, Privacy Guard, Google Play services etc. DO NOT FLASH 3RD PARTY GAPPS PACKAGES!
If you see a warning about vendor partition mismatch, you can ignore that in most cases, but before reporting issues you should be on the right version (without the warning).

Nice!
so are any gapps packages safe to flash
Any secrets or step-by-step on how to flash? The reason I ask this is due to the difference of Pixel 2 XL (partition A/B) in comparision to other devices.

yeah but i was wondering if lineage has their own form of Gapps

I would surmise from the instructions in the OP, and given the size of the download(573.42mb) that there will only be the minimum required to allow one to have Google play services, and play story. The rest you can download on your own. Again, this is my personal assumption.

Hey RaymanFX. First, thank you for sharing your personal build!! 2nd, I would assume this is NOT substratum compatible, correct?
this is awesome because one of my favorite things with past phones was waking up to a new cyanogen nightly to flash. i installed pure nexus with the 6p before lineage built a 6p rom but now it seems like lineage is first for the pixel 2 xl. yay

Unless he went out of his way to break OMS, yes substratum is supported. Consider LineageOS 15.1 to be the same as your stock ROM with respect to substratum compatibility, atleast for now.
Edit: Obviously don't report force closes from bad overlays as ROM bugs, duh.

Yeah curious on what features are included. Changelog looks like it's stock.
**EDIT**
It's booting after a second flash. Not sure what happened, but after I reinstalled TWRP and installed the zip a second time, the ROM is booting. I'll update this post after I'm done with setup
Ignore this ============================================
Don't flash! Not booting! Wiped my TWRP!
Steps I took:
Boot to twrp
Format system, data and cache
Install zip
Reboot
What happened:
Stuck at google logo
Recovery is now stock
Guess I'm pulling my titanium backup and flashing system images

I'm more curious to see if the Active Edge feature works. I'll probably play with it this weekend; 12-hour Saturday shifts are pretty boring.
Awesome to see some good development paving the way; between Xposed and LOS, we're now on the right track! Thanks for sharing!

Having come from the OG PiXL, wiping system was a problem in the beginning and you always flashed TWRP after any zip, especially ROMs.
But good info to know!

Important notes:
* Required * firmware version must be based on MIUI 12.5.x builds.
GApps can only be flashed on clean installs.
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.
Reserved 2
Note:
Flashing LineageOS through TWRP is NOT SUPPORTED and NOT ADVISED, do with your own risk. Please use LineageOS Recovery instead.
Right now, Lineage Recovery is really only intended to be used on devices with Seamless Updates (aka A/B partitions) and, in that role, it is only intended to be embedded within the OS's normal Boot image. While flashing TWRP, it replaces boot image's ramdisk (possible security risks, coz it runs SeLinux permissive on recovery). That's why it's not recommend to use with A/B devices.
Well I wasn't expecting this so fast, well done OP! This is big news for is Alioth users!

I tried latest update didn't find any bug and no lags stability is good but battery backup and the edges near the camera hole and the corners of the screen are not smooth if we watch them really closely they are not smooth and can see different colors.

ProtonAOSPAndroid 12 ROM for Pixel 2 - Maintained by @EnesSastim
Spoiler: SPECIAL THANKS TO
@Lunarixus on XDA (using his device tree, mentorship, and fixes. Wonderful work)
@RealOkabe on XDA for his build process, we only reached bootable state thanks to his work.
@ReallySnow on XDA for his work on Android 12 vendor. I consider him my teacher, and most of the Android 12 heavy lifting was done by him.
None of this would've happened without them.
ProtonAOSP is a minimal Android fork (custom ROM) focused on UI/UX and performance, with a touch of privacy.

Any news about this rom on walleye?
Thank you!!
Yes waiting for the walleye support
Hello, many thanks for this works, unfortunatly i missed the link.
2 questions, can you send me link to donate for the walleye developpement of this proton aosp unofficial rom ?
Also, is this would work with locked bootloader ? or does not making sens with the configuration of vendor from 11 etc...
Also if u have another test build could you provide it.
Thanks.

Currently the ROM is in in unknown state @Dollscythe is trying their best to fix it so no links are currently available as the ROM wasn't currently usable and and no nothing is flashable if your bootloader is locked for anything to be flashable your bootloader must be able to be unlocked or set in unlocked mode otherwise the device is unflashable and to donate to them its PayPal and the link

I wouldn't recommend re-locking it but I know on the original you could but I would wait until @Dollscythe finishes up if they get the chance as things happen and they are supporting a phone they don't have so time is needed give them a few days hopefully they get a chance and they can answer better then I can as they are building it

Ok many thanks, no rush at all really, this would be perfect to have at least one stable build with this feature and the classics proton aosp options (more option on the permission manager, the press squeeze, and other things). after all (to me) all will be good.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0.

Same as 19.1.
Nice New Years present, thanks! Just sideloaded it without any hiccups whatsoever and it seems to work perfectly. (Just be patient when it is 47% finished, it takes some time.)
So just to confirm, if I'm on 19.1, I should be able to just sideload lineage 20/gapps/magisk, and I'm good? Don't have to wipe my data, or worse, revert to stock and upgrade stock to whatever their latest version is (I assume an update from android 12 to 13)?
Still going to use Swift Backup to backup as much of my stuff as I can, just in case. Hopefully I won't need it.

Correct. Very smooth upgrade experience without loosing any data on my device.
Can I flash this over latest OOS 13 ? Does it already have firmware. Please don't tell me it is same as LOS 19 because I don't know about LOS 19 instructions.

how can i activate the wifi icon ?
i see instead a dot icon

AOD seems a little wonky on Lineage 20 with the full size double-line clock... Like it's offset too low on the screen, so it overlaps with the battery percentage overlay.
Also some apps like FX File Explorer aren't allowed to enable notifications (even though I had never disabled them in 19.1).
Haven't figured out any workarounds yet.
Edit: I've disabled double-line clock for now until the AOD offset gets fixed.
And turns out the disabled notifications issue is an Android 13 issue which some apps are afflicted with, but it can be fixed on the app side, per this MalwareBytes forum thread: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/290668-android-13-blocking-notifications/
someone the same bug with the icons in the status bar ?

Any plans to upgrade Los 20 to oos13 firmware? Or just when los21 will be released?
Is there a reason why devs stay with a12 firmware? Thanks for your work on all op devices.

Cool! How is Magisk working on the latest Android?
Anyone know why you can't sideload Magisk in recovery or even use twrp to install it? It freezes and does nothing? I patched the boot which is a alternative but it's longer that way.
