MIUI based on Android Nougat for Redmi 1S?

Good day,
I have a question in mind and I'm hoping that I will get an answer. Excuse me for I have no clue in developing a ROM.
What bugging me is the release of Android Nougat for Redmi 1S which is done only by CyanogenMod (now Lineage OS) with the stock Android UI. This is the same thing happens to other ROMs like the Mokee. However, MIUI ROM for Redmi 1S is definitely an eye catcher which will make you think twice if you really wanted to flash CM14.1 Android Nougat.
My question: Is it possible to develop the MIUI ROM but it will be under Android Nougat so it will not compromise the MIUI UI instead of the generic CM/ Mokee/ Lineage OS UI?

hence miui is highly skinned rom ..the system partition does not enough for stock nought rom...
so, there is no possiblilty for nought on redmi1s :good: :good:

AICP 12.1, Slim 7 and Dirty Unicorns 11.0 supports Substratum/OMS.

thanks , using DU now with substratum . can you tell me about custom kernel that i can flash on it ? cuz battery is not that good in 7+ roms

suggest me a good kernel that has the battery backup as stated by users and dev , i don't play games , stream to music very often , i even don't use google apps , also i don't watch videos offline but i do watch YT sometimes

depending on your usage, for normal use mine has 11-12 hours of SOT
TIP: don't try to install google assistant it will drain your battery, but you can install google app and always use pico package when flashing gapps.

God kernel is the best battery saver kernel I have use so far in stock rom

suggestions for ROM

I'm looking for a ROM that would have as less bugs as possible, I don't need so many features but it'd be better if there would be some customisations....just good battery backup and stability....
Suggest a kernel too if needed...?

I've tried Pixel Experience ROM ,but none of builds were Satisfying for me

Guys i've installed crDroid ,but i had issues with notification led it was dimmed. Which roms doesnt have this bug ?

Last time I've tested Liquid Remix It had this bug

Go for CRDROID5.0 or AOSIP9.0
both have full Dirty Unicorn customizations!
CRdroid has saparate AudioFx and Music player
AOSIP is a bit faster! at times!
HAVOC 2.0 is driven from crdroid, also Good!

Syberia OS Pie version 2. The version 2.1 has this bug. I am currently on version 2 and it is stable than Havoc OS Official.

Hello guys, I just wanna ask what is the best Kernel for our Note 5 (Performance + Battery balanced) I'm on Android 10 DP4 Custom Rom, which has scripts to make Pie Kernel compatible.

one of the best kernel that i used in poco F1. haven't tried yet in poco m3. wondering about "Optimizations from other kernels" ? is this came from xiaomi kernel?

Yes, because StormBreaker (which the kernel is based on) only works on Android 11.

My kernel is balanced for performance and battery life. But gaming should be good too.
