My free hours spent on these projects is thinking about our device and users so that they can have an updated android.

I have clean flashed the rom with gapps. It is very stable. Can be used as daily driver. Also it passed safetynet by default. (no need for magisk)
-Flashed Version 4.6
It is much better then v4.5.
Voice Recording Fixed.
Auto-Brightness Fixed.
4K Video Recording works
Battery life is significantly better.
No bugs.
Best Rom for A2 Lite imo.

I'm getting an error in TWRP: Error applying update: 7 (ErrorCode: kInstallDeviceOpenError). In OrangeFox I can install Havoc without errors, but when I want to reboot it says No OS installed.
All went well with TWRP offain. No problems. ROM is awesome!! Thank you!

Hey, so I am quite new to this. I have the havoc OS 10 stable version installed currently.
Can I just straight up follow the installation procedures to upgrade? Or do I need to do something before that?

Should I suppose that device encryption is unsupported, yet?

I've installed every Android 11 build and it has the same bugs, camera app crashes, recorder won't work, microphone doesn't work most of the times, and video & audio playback freezes every 5 seconds for like 1 second.

Lags, strange auto-brightness behavior (100% very often), and lack of encryption. OpenPods works intermittently.
Not so great, 4.4 performs betters.

I also have the weird auto-brightness problem. It goes %100 most of the time where it shouldnt.

I had also the same problem. Revert back to 4.4. and problem solved. So far so good.

4.6 version, fixed screen brightness, battery KO.

Camera App is crashing. In Insta or Telegramm are No Problems
I preffer "Open camera" Form Playstore till this is fixed.
This Rom is an amasing Work and now WE have OTA updates too

Hi, the voice typing does not work for me. It shows the microphone, it says "speak now" when pushed but does not "listen" at anything I say, like if it does not detect the microphone.
Anyone else had this issue or solved it?

I think that my battery issue was related with the OpenPod app, so I suggest to try Havoc if you are looking for an Android version with Gapps embedded in it.
I already donated.

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your ATHENE, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Pretty good ROM already, considering it is a beta :good:
64 bit: there is a /system/lib64 folder
- Not lagging
- GPS fix not included (yet)
- OpenCamera: Flash doesn't seem to be in synch with exposure

With the bugs we already know don't have a solution, this rom is in very good shape! Crdroid starting in Oreo with style!

Working very smooth so far !

This is a very good ROM, stable and fast. Tried it two days and found one bug: The torch d`ont work also not with a torch app. In Camera the flash is not in time.
Clean flash without Gapps but with Magisk.

That's true, initially it 'felt' a bit laggy. I forgot to mention.
However, this is not easy to quantify, and right now it is not a problem for me.

Thanks for the release and hard work. just downloaded 7.1 RR, will downgrade from Pixel Experience 8.1.0 because of bug. In Los15.1 and PE there's a multitouch bug (google: android 8.1 multitouch)
Can you confirm if this bug is presented or is fixed somehow by you?
Going to Nougat from Oreo just because of this bug, which drives me insane.

I also face this problem with all oreo 8.1 rom that i've tried (aexmod, atomic, los15.1, PE). If I test it with a multitouch tester, it's fine. But the problem would be know if I play some games like modern combat 5, rules of survival, dead trigger, or all fps games

Bug shows itself if you use 2 fingers multitouch for 10 and more seconds (like in games, etc.), then it starts lagging and register touchs not on the position I hold fingers, but in random places of the screen. (Like in cheap phones or when charging with fake adapter or when under the rain).
As I saw others confirming this for all oreo 8.1, I would recommend all who use this to skip 8.1, and either use 8.0 or wait for 8.2. Also would love to have RR on Oreo 8.0 instead.
But again thanks for your efforts, I appreciate even without using.

did a clean install full wipe including the internal storage..flashed 8.2.1 firmware ROM gapps

I just flashed the ROM, nothing else.

@33bca, Thank you very much for the build. Can anybody please confirm or deny issues that I am facing? 1) After encrypting storage can't connect to camera and flashlight not working. 2) When trying to choose network type in System profiles I get force close Lineage Settings.
I'm askung without attaching logs as I am not sure if those problems are related to my device setup.

I updated from los15.1，and camera&flashlight is broken...
But everything else is perfect！

Europe versions have different firmware. Dont flash this!

You cannot directly install.. You have to flash a16 firmware + vbmeta+ lineage os + gapps ( first u need to be unlocked bootloader to do these)

I'm on the official Plus version and camera works well, I also flashed the micam linked in the telegram support group which works as good.
And about the maintainership, he is already an internal member of PixelExperience team. So he'll maintain it for long no doubts about that.

Does the wireless display work ? I have the previous google experience 11 rom downloaded from the official webpage and the screen cast freeze the phone and then reboot ir. Also the battery life it's really bad. (After installing naptime with aggressive doze it got a lot better)

Camera works very fine for everyone, it's a issue from his side and don't worry I don't plan on dropping maintainership this early

Micam works???

That live wallpapers are still laggy

Bootloop after flashing via TWRP. I did system/cache/vendor/data wipes and just flash the ROM. So, I would have to try PixelExperience recovery, but the link is broken. Where I can download it?

Yes but not at the initial stage.

Fast Charging not working.
(it can be issue with my charging cable, ID Pin is broken)

Hello @expressluke when will we receive the evolution x Android 12 update.? I'm extaticsince Evo seems to be the best rom out there

A big shoutout to @expressluke for this great rom.
Working well, awesome wallpaps, lot of personnalisation... Love it.
The cam crash a bit but it's ok for me.
Btw HW keys continue to work even if u disable it.
Except this, all is good, keep it the good work man for maintain our S7 alive
PS: Only BiTGapps works for me with this rom.

For me its perfect.
This is my worker phone and the battery was a ****... with the official 8.0 max 8hours and over.
With this rom I came home with 34% after 10hours
