I own a Samsung M31s and M51. Both models are factory defaults. When I connect to Wifi and use BT headphones simultaneously either of them is not working properly. Download speeds drop drastically or pageloads while browsing is dead slow or taking calls via BT won't work.
If anyone having same issues?

Hi!
I try to discribe the weird behaviour of my GNex.
Everytime I use Spotify or TuneIn Radio over my home WiFi und stream the Audio via Bluetooth I have massive buffering pauses.
The strange thing is - this only happens with the GNex and in this particular setup.
Spotify on Wifi and listening with cabel earphones works flawless.
Bluetooth streaming in the car while being on 3G also works without any problems.
And with my other Android devices (Transformer 101 on AOKG and my Galaxy S on CM9 nightly) even the combination being on Wifi and streaming Audio with BT to my BT boxes works without a problem.
(For absolute confusion - somehow I don't have this buffering problem when using Play Music).
The Wifi connection itself or the bluetooth connection are tested - the error must be somewhere else.
Question: Is this problem reproducable with other Galaxy Nexuseses or is it my particular setup / device that acts a bit funky?
Bonus Question: Does anyone of you know a solution to my problem?
Thanks in advance
Zero
Are you connected to a 5ghz or 2.4ghz router?
The router (AVM fritz.box 7270) can handle both bands. At the moment I use the 2.4Ghz band because I still have a few Wifi devices can't run n-Standard Wifi.
Update:
I played a little bit with the settings and found out that if I force the screen to keep on, streaming over BT through a Wifi connection works.
I checked the Wifi policy but it was "always on" when phone goes to sleep...
Update 2:
Tried to change network to 5.0GhZ and - yes - it solved the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanx a lot for the suggestion!
But as I said, it's unfortunately no suitable solution for me because my Transformer (the original one) only works with 2.4GhZ networks. The "screen on workaround" still works for me, but is a huge battery drainer. Well, of course... with WIFI, BT on and working and screen on...
So if anyone has an idea why its working with screen on and not working with screen off... plz...
I have the same issue. Wifi streaming via Bluetooth starts massive buffering when screen locks. It also happens on my Nexus S (ics). My girl friends exhibit (ginger bread) has no problems. I guess it's an issue with ICS.
Galaxy Nexus: Settings -> WiFi -> Advanced -> 5Ghz only
That might fix it, although it won't work if your nexus also needs to connect to 2.4Ghz WiFi networks.
Also download "Wakelock" from the Play Store, and find if one of those wakelocks will fix it.
A Wakelock tells Android that it isn't allowed to sleep as long as the wakelock isn't released. Just try all of them, maybe it'll help.
Thanks for the tips. The 5ghz range on my router sucks, but I'll give that and the other tips a try. I got some Bluetooth speakers for around the house which are awesome when not buffering.
I use my GPAD along with a nice bluetooth headset when I exercise. After the upgrade to 4.4.2, I started experiencing wifi connection drops. The only way to reestablish the connection is to toggle airplane mode, disable bluetooth or reboot the tablet. As long as I have bluetooth disabled the connection is consistent but if enabled, the connection drops within 15 minutes. Has anyone else experienced wifi drop outs with bluetooth enabled?

...and have always assumed that there will be a problem when streaming to my BT headset (which I do often) and try and use Wi-Fi at the same time. This happens consistently and so I just tend to no longer bother.
Actually I now use my Nexus 7 (original) just for BT streaming and the G Pad for other use when a Wi-Fi is needed.
Whenever I have both bluetooth enabled (and paired with any device) and wifi enabled, and I'm streaming music (Spotify in my case), after several minutes (almost randomly), the internet will stop working. Meaning, the WiFi icon will still show as connected, but it can't connect to anything online. I typically have to disable and re-enable WiFi for it to work, but then it would do the same thing again.
The strange thing is, my Galaxy S4 had the exact same issue/behavior. On both devices, I've seen this behavior regardless of the type of WiFi connection and/or bluetooth device (I've noticed it with my skullcandy headphones as well as my Sync in my car).
Do these devices share the same bluetooth/wireless chipset? Is it an Android thing? I'm forced to either use 4G with bluetooth, or WiFi with wired headphones. Thanks.
EDIT: this is using 5ghz Wifi.
What version of android are you on ?
carrier phone or unlocked. Some times these issues are carrier specific and non existent on others.
If you go into settings - wifi
Uncheck any option that says switch to data if wifi is unavailable.
I can confirm that this is an issue, I experience the same problem on my g4 818p
Sent from my LG-H818 using Tapatalk
WiFi goes on 2.4ghz or 5ghz(most commonly on 2.4ghz) Bluetooth works on 2.4ghz. Unless you are 1m from router, BT is going to butcher your wlan. Had the same problem before. Solved it by buying dual band modem-router.
You could forcing different channel in wlan settings.

idea here is reducing interference to bluetooth from competing sources.
- switch off wifi and use data which the OP is doing. Curious that the problems occur even at 5Ghz. Would have thought that band would be relatively immune to 2.4ghz sources.
- reduce the distance between bluetooth device and phone.
- move away from any sources of wifi interference if wanting to use bluetooth.
And now from the ppposite direction. Preventing bluetooth from interfering with wifi

Read the comments below. similar to the OP.
The key is more management of the problem rather than solution.

I'm using the Verizon variant.
this issue hunted me on all software version
Many options live
Router: Try another chanel
Router: Try only 2.4 or 5 Ghz
Router: Try only N or try only b/g/n mixed
App: Delete tunin radio
Last options send back service mainboard change.
i m facing the same problem but only when i do cellular call,
i am using realme wireless earphone , when i used to call my wifi speed gradually decrease , and after that stop working completely..,
after disconnecting the call i need to OFF and ON to work wifi again....,
My wife got the same issue with a Samsung A40 (and before with a Motorola), when using 2.4 wifi and Bluetooth connections (band and speaker for instance) the wifi is hanging. With wifi 5 it's ok. I don't have any issue with my phone using same network. It's crazy.
I have a Galaxy S4 Mini, running on non-rooted 4.4.2. I have lately observed a very peculiar behavior. If I turn on my Bluetooth and WiFi together simultaneously, then try to use both of them, for example stream a song via music app or tunein radio or sound cloud via Bluetooth to speakers and the same time surf the web, I observe that the WiFi signal connection as well as Bluetooth connection drops alternatively.
OR If I try to stream a song from tunein radio or sound cloud using Bluetooth, while downloading the very same song/stream via WiFi it causes the same issue. Either I loose Bluetooth connectivity to the speakers or WiFi connection is dropped.
What can be the cause of this happening and what do I do to rectify this issue?
Same problem here. using bluetooth headset, i can't use it watching youtube on wifi connection. rarely has worked for a couple of minutes, but quite always wifi or bluetooth stops working, and if wifi return to work, bluetooth immediately disconnect the headset...
i've also try to install cyanogenmod 13 official, but still the same problem...
Hi I recently purchased a Huawei watch and it's amazing so far. Though it might not have its all of its functionality with my iPhone 6 it's still pretty good and was decently priced. My issue with it so far is that my wifi connection seems to be interfered whenever I have my watch connected through Bluetooth. I have noticed this since my internet service returns when I turn off the Bluetooth. I have tried factory resetting it on multiple occasion. I even updated my phone and the watch through the wifi router. The phone itself shows that there's a connection but no internet service is actually going through the phone or watch. I've tried looking around but most issues seems to be Bluetooth dropping versus internet service. I hope this can help others that have the same issue.
I have same problem (( I dont know what to do. Is not possible to update my watch even surfing on the internet. Wifi signal is full, but no internet service. In settings is not available Wi-Fi settings. If bluetooth is turned off my internet service works good. (iPhone 6 - iOS 9.3.3, Huawei Watch 1.4 (6.0.1)) What can I do please?
That is by design! Wi-Fi only works when it loses the Bluetooth connection. See this: https://support.google.com/androidwear/answer/6207505?hl=en
i have this issues in wear 2
