Hi guy, I'm using Viper X 2.1.0 and would like to experiment a different kernel so I can improve battery life, performance and stability.
Tks guys!
im using faux 007 mainstream version, and even that is much better than stock unrooted.
get the renovate gaming boost app as well and games are sooooo much better! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1783260

It depends on your usage. There are only few kernels why don't you try them all and stick with the one you like the most.

If battery life is the most important thing to you, I would recommand you NCX-217, as smooth as stock kernel, after several days usage, I found it stabel too.

Tks for replying man, Really I'd like better results on Benchmarks as well stabiliy, I can sacrifice a little battery..well, it's hard to find a Balance between "forces"... lol
..but your suggestion is take in consideration.
A Little question more... Do I have to reinstall ROM after flashing a new Kernel or I can let it the same way?

No just wipe the cache.
...I need a ROM that can hold battery for at least 5 hours a day. Don't tell me DroidGio or enhanced 236. Their battery life is worse than CM 10.

Try debiandroid by mmb it is the best rom for performance and battery right now...
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda app-developers app
maybe lower the cpu settings. setting the min cpu to 122mhz and the max cput to 672mhz will decrease the performance a lot but the battery life will extend also a lot. combine this with debiandroid by mmb and you have your solution. don't know exactly which governor you should use..
Ok I'm just looking for smoothness and battery life anyone have any recommendations? ? Which Rom is more battery efficient? ?

The Lollipop Roms in general are pretty rough on your battery compared to the KK Roms.

They are if the user isn't careful setting the device up for certain usages.
my experience with...
Echoe rom
Been very happy with performance and stability
customization
And battery life seems great
If your driving or working turn on ultimate power saving works wonders

when you say pretty good, what does that means? 8-10hrs with normal use or 1day+?
Thanks

Battery life is subject to usage and many other factors you might get 7hrs sot but I could get 4hrs using the same exact setup
