Hi
I was excited to replace my faultless Poco F1 with new F3 only to find out that some numbers I try to call I get 'Call ended' immediately. Needless to say same SIM placed back in old phone and I can make calls. I call also dial same number from second SIM in Poco F3.
Xiaomi offered replacement but seems to me software issue rather then F3.
Also tried clearing all data in dialer service with no luck. Don't want to do factory reset as that will wipe all other Appas and settings. Any advice would be appreciated.
BTW all updates are installed.
Thanks
Forgot to mention installed ROM is miui 12.0.5 which is a bit bugy in proximity sensor, brightness control etc. I can live with other issues for now but not been able to make calls is bad
mine works good
Good for you ..I am in UK on 3 network. Tried even disable 5G...no help
Those calls, are they connected to the same prefix? Or special one like 0300 or similar?

Oi
Qualquer conselho seria apreciado.
Aliás, todas as atualizações são instaladas.
Obrigado

Well I don't know what country you live in, but here in Brazil there is something called DDD which is a code inserted before the phone number, all my numbers with this code were happening the same thing that you mentioned then I just removed and left only the number of each person without any code before and it worked here

Hiya, I have just got a Poco F3 and it disconnect s without ringing on several random numbers, including my son's. I am on '3' too. Can I ask if you have found a solution. Thanks Carole
I've disable 'use mobile data using VoLTE calls' and it seems to work. Still not happy I cannot record call but that is a different matter.
Hope it helps
I'm having the same issue with sim 1 slot on my Poco F3.
Getting call ended when trying to call any number. Appears busy when being called. Data and sms work just fine. Tried multiple firmwares, including custom roms and different regions. Did you find any solution?
I remeber haveing this problem long time ago and what worked for me under phone app I changed the region then set it back to where it should be and it worked for me , I was useing google phone app
Well, if you make Sim 3g only it works. However, that is not how it should be. My room is 12.5.6 and phone was for repair. Still broken. Asking for refund

I don't know if this is the right place to post this problem, but here it goes. I got the HTC One X on France and brought it here to Brazil. I started using it and now I keep getting this annoying SMS text with the Carrier name and my area code. I called the carrier and they told me it's a phone problem, that it gets this message when connecting to the network. Anyone got this problem? It is very annoying, I get 50+ messages a day.
The number that appears to be sending the SMS is 50. I tried a few SMS Block apps and none has worked.
Any help will be appreciatted.

I solved with a bit drastic solution. I flashed the CM9 ROM from Trip over Modaco and the SMS messages stopped popping. I already wanted a pure Android experience and a rooted phone, so I flashed and got the solution to this problem as bonus.

i think i find the problem.. go to settings > call settings.. e o meu ta em portugues.. vou ter q colocar aqui tbm.. qualquer coisa ce traduz ai mate.. la em configuracao dee chamada tem um item ..
I thin kits that Carrier notification message that @antoniosergius
is referring to
I thought it would just scroll past screens like the old nokias used to do but appears they send you a message
Have not tried it myself but give it a go
Cant give you the exact path right now as phone is charging but play around in the Settings menu most likely either under Call or Mobile

I didnt notice this setting. On CM9 I cant find this setting, but the annoying SMS from carrier is gone. Let me know if that solved the problem, if I flash the HTC Stock ROM back, it'll be a big plus having this issue gone. Just one more thing, I noticed that when I used the wCDMA only option for the mobile network, I didnt get any messages from the carrier, but when I set the option to "GSM/wCDMA auto", the messages started popping up again.
Try
Settings - Call - Cell Broadcast
ok boys i did unlock my bootloader then rooted , ok .
but i did reinstall the stock rom without root , then one update did come i installed now my phone dont boot only when i plug on charge the led comes flashing
nothing happens i plug on PC except the flashing frontal led
anyone know what can i do ?
To update official stock rom with bootloader unlocked you need a custom recovery, if you have the stock recovery your bootloader partition gets corrupted and you can't boot the phone. This happened to me twice, luckily, I sent the phone to warranty and they replaced the motherboard.
Which stock ROM did you flash? If you flashed an older stock ROM and attempted to use OTA updates, then you may have corrupted your bootloader with the older OTA update. That's a hard brick, usually requiring a blankflash. I've not seen one for Cedric or Montana devices, and blankflashes are generally leaked from Motorola (Motorola will not likely give you one).
Unless you can make/find an image of a working device, a loader image, then the other option is to submit your device to service. You may be lucky as Ramonms2 and have your motherboard replaced under warranty, but depending on your service centre and local consumer laws, they may bill you for the repair.
Attempting to use OTA updates on an older system but newer bootloader (and bootloaders do not appear to be downgraded) is what appears to cause a lot of bricks.

Hopefully they'll repair your device under warranty, however there is a record against your device IMEI that indicates you've requested the unlock key. As that request voids the warranty, be prepared for the possibility you may have to pay for the repair depending on what they find.
Good luck with the repair regardless.

After installing security update with the unlocked bootloader my Moto g5 went into hard brick, wanted to know if there is any solution, I already tried to look for the flashbak of Moto g5 but not find there is any repair method?

Only solution is a new motherboard or a repair shop with equipment to reimage the bootloader eg j-tag (such equipment costs about double the price of this phone to buy & requires knowledge of soldering pins etc so cheaper getting repair shop to do it)
I decided to just forget about my dead device. I can't sell it (for pieces) because it still contains my data inside. I will get something with better development when I get enough money. It wasn't a bad device, but it didn't really match my development needs.
RIP.

you think that with a j-tag it is fine, I mean that if it can be repaired because I understand that it is not the bootloader that is deprogrammed but the boot itself.:confuso:

Since I don't own one or tried I can't answer this question
A j-tag can be use to re-image a phone with original firmware if the phone cannot enter the bootloader

then you think it's possible to repair it with a j-tag to take it to a workshop to repair my phone.
or better I wait for them to filter the blank flash files

You could be waiting years for blank flash files - they are leaked
They may never be leaked
Choice is yours

so what do you suggest me do?
I take it with a technician to see if they can repair it with a box or with the j-tag or I hope the truth is that I do not know what to do.

Save money and buy a device that suits your needs better than this one. Sell your dead Moto G5 for pieces, since I guess the other components (screen, camera, speakers, USB port, battery, etc.) still work. I'm sorry, but there's nothing else you can do.
something new with the flash blank

For now has no news, alias Moto g5 has not even 1 year of launching it will take to be leaked, the only solution for now is a technician who knows how to mess with JTAG or the motherboard exchange, it is possible that the for the May be leaked alo
this phone has more than a year that went to the market that was in February 2017 and not only is happening to this terminal but also to the successor to the motorola g5s and I do not think it takes so long to leave the blank flash since on the moto g4 / plus and moto z2 play came out before the year of being on the scoreboard.

Obrigado
Hey how is everything? I live in Brazil and I'm thinking of buying the live Chinese version. I want to hear from you if it's worth it or not. Thanks
Hi Willian
Dont ! Trust me !
The OS is full of chinese apps and bloatware which cant be removed. So many functions are disabled (Android Auto, Prompting Google, changing SMS or Phone app ...).
I wish I had bought the global version that comes with Funtouch as opposed to Origin OS.
Let me know if I need to give you more dire news.

This bizarre error only occurs when I pass Custom Roms occurs1 (I will not change in 1 AOSP). .. Thank you very much in advance!
I guess your device is aliothin , right?
Cuz I'm facing some weird issues too.
If i flash miui eu i got no option for refresh rate and no usable camera.
If i flashed aosp rom i got useless bluetooth airpods, the device hangs during any call , regular or whatsapp or messanger calls.

With me it would just be this problem of crashes in playing videos (you tube for example) and audio (Whatsapp, Spotify and similar).
