Custom Oreo ROM or GSI?

I am on the leaked stable Oreo build of MIUI. I want to switch to a Oreo custom ROM, but I am confused which I should flash, the Generic System Images or RR/LOS. I am off course looking for stability(camera, battery) and performance, customization is not at the top of my list of needs. Thanks

I am using Both MIUI 9.5.12 in my Redmi Note 5 China ( Oreo 8.1) and RR Rom by Multiboot TWRP both working fine and RR Rom is stable and battery is also good as far as I used. You can try RR rom. BTW a tip for you if you want to use dual Rom don't put any lock in Custom rom if you do you wont be able to log in at MIUI Rom.

Installed RR today, pretty pleasant experience as of yet!

Flyme Os on Whyred

we have lots of custom rom.but,its only lineage based stock like rom with some customaization.But,many people like fully cuztomiable rom.so,flyme its one.
anyone can port it for our device??

Fastboot Rom flashing guide

Hey, can I flash fastboot Rom on any custom ROMs like LOS,RR etc.
I am confirmed that MIUI based Moded ROMs support it but I want to know about AOSP ROMs

require info on installation of custom rom over miui pie

Guys can anyone help me to find out if any custom rom like aosp can be installed on my redmi note 5 pro over stock miui pie rom via pitchblack recovery without any hassle? Will it brick my device or not? If everything goes well then can I revert it back to miui pie via custom recovery?

Can't install One UI based ROMs

I was using Havoc OS android 10 but I recently decided to switch to a One UI based ROM (Infinity OS, LightROM, ect...). For some reason every time I flash one of these ROMs I the get this error:
failed to mount /dev/block/by-name/vendor
After this I can no longer install anything that requires the vendor partition so I have to flash stock ROM through Odin. In which case everything is fixed until I flash a One UI based ROM again.
My: Galaxy A50 SM-505W
My theory is that it has something to do with the exynos chipset.
Please help me and thank you in advance.
Just to be clear, stock android based ROMs work without a problem. It's only One UI ROMs that seem to cause this issue.
