I noticed some white pixels and i wonder, whether these are real pixel-errors or not.
I found exactly the same dots on 2 different Poco F3, so i could imagine, they are a "feature" instead errors...
The most intensive is the ohne on the left side.
But: If i test the display with sample-pics (fully white, black, red, green and blue, 1080x2400), there are no errors visible at these positions.
And more confusing: You can see them on a Screenshot (this is not a separate photo of the screen)!

Go to Google and find yourself pure black picture... ?
This looks like artifacting either from the launcher that you're using or the photo in the background is not pure black...

Can anyone tell? also, am i able to fix this?
The pixel is cyan at a white background, black at a red background, and completely disappears on a blue, green, and black background.

Yes it can. If it's black on a red screen it means a red pixel is missing. Red is used for white (white = red, green and blue). Red isn't used to make green or blue, so those colours are fine with a dead red pixel there.
to be anoying:
in fact it is called dead sub-pixel.
but here we are at the discussion how the resolution is counted in this devise. the used technology is counting else than normal TFT, which have 3 same sized sub-pixels, merged to this what you call and see as a pixel.

In fact, what I actually call it is a `dodgy red light`.
When running LCD Tester i noticed color banding on the gradient color screens.
I can also notice this on the default UI of sense especially on the grey buttons.
It looks like in this picture (on the keys)
BTW it's not from my own phone, it's just an example of how it looks in real life on the screen of my One X

Hey,
if the banding can really be seen on the screenshots, the assets just aren't better. But if it is not, it's either the rendering or the screen itself (trying to figure out which one it is atm). To be honest I fear it's the screen itself.

The screenshots aren't from my actual phone, but i used them because in real life on my One X screen it looks like the screenshots
I have this banding too.
You can see it in a completely dark room on the settings screen of quickpic for example.
If you do a screenshot of it an look the picture on the PC you can't see the banding.
EDIT: After Update to 1.28.401.9 the steps from the banding are thinner and better (use quickpic settings page)

Made a screenshot of the Quickpic settings screen,
you can clearly see the banding, so its the software.
Haven't seen any banding issues on the HTC One X yet.
See pic where I increased the contrast:
I had downgraded back to KitKat and had it setup exactly like I wanted it and had been using it for a few weeks. All of a sudden my screen would become washed out. Kind of like it was stuck in reading mode or something like that. Sometimes it will correct itself on it's own or if I enable then disable grayscale mode. If that doesn't work, then I have to reboot. After being locked for a few minutes though, it gets washed out again. I decided to go back to Lollipop to see if that fixed it but it's still happening.
What could be causing it have washed out colors?
Can you screenshot what you're talking about? And why would you want to be on KitKat?
Do you have the adaptive display enable?, is the rgb sensor blocked?
John.
I was going to try and get a screenshot but it hasn't done it again. Anyway, I just traded it for a gaming laptop today so doesn't really matter much anymore. Thanks for the replies though!
So, I got my tablet back and I have some screenshots of the issue available. Hopefully you'll be able to see what I talking about.

I believe it's hardware related. I was holding it at the bottom right corner when it got the green tint. Grabbing the bottom right and top left corners and bending slightly on the back of it causes the green tint. Bending on the front reverses the green tint. Loose connection, a short, or failing screen altogether?
EDIT: I looked at those screenshots while my screen is normal and I can't see the green tint, so this is really weird!
Hi, i had a opportunity to compare my LG G4 with another. I've noticed quite another display calibration. My G4 has white color calibrated to warm (yellow) and the second G4 doesnt. How is this even possible?
I cant think of the post but look up on the g3 same problem. Theres some adjustments u can make. It was a known issue on g2 and g3. Mine included. You can change the red green blue. Again i dont know exacts but theres a few post again for the g3
Can you send me samething about that?
It's very normal to have differently calibrated LCD panels. I had 2 LG G4 and both of them had different color tint/temperature. One had warmer colour calibration with yellowish tint another one had cooler colour calibration with bluish tint. Unfortunately unlike Samsung devices and several others the screen colour temperature can't be adjusted so it all comes to personal preference which one you like more. I kept the one with warmer looking screen.
This screen is exactly what I mean.

I agree with the above post device calibrations are always diffrent. Also sometimes just the shear heat off the cpus can tinge the screen yellow some g3 was bad for it
I tried app "Screen balance" and it is working well, so I dont know why producer does not set it to default.

I fill info to posted image. I have 2 LG G4 in my hand and the difference is the same.
Hi everyone, anyone else got this device?? The grey navigation bar at the bottom is annoying and doesn't fit. It should just be black. I tried an app from the play store to change color but it only changes the very thin bar where the gesture hint is, not the wider grey space under it. Any tricks to make it black all the time?
Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about, drives me bonkers.

High contrast areas that are fixed on an oled screen will become burned in over a couple years.
You want it black now.. But it will be visible when rotating the screen if it was.
Even being grey won't fully save it but it should make it much less noticeable unless you're always viewing black content. So maybe silver lining?
