I posted some info for the people that know more than me. Hopefully it will help them. I'd like root as soon as I can get it.

You can do that but you should check your warranty policy from a place where you bought your phone because it will not be valid.

It's for McAfee Antivirus.
Aaaaand it troubles rooting if I'm correct.
Not that I want marshmallow from looking at all the complaints, but I'm still on lollipop. Is the update still on a beta skew? Or is something wrong with my watch?

Same reason as why mine has not been updated yet. Our watches were not yet in the "update list".
The update were once pushed to Moto360 before 12 Feb, believed to be when Motorola noticed that lots of reports saying that devices were bricked after the update.

We Indians got this update almost a month ago..
We (or just me?) in the US haven't seen a thing yet. I keep my expectations low for Lenovo and it hasn't disappointed me yet

I think US users would be receiving different update. Please go through the below Moto US link :
https://mobilesupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solution/MS117750
And it looks better than the stupid 0.67 update.
not available in Germany. yet. ;-(

or RETUS!
But not RETARD
or RETTIMBUKTU
Still nothing for US so far.
Nothing for EU yet either.
Honestly the frequency (read lack of them) of rollouts from Lenovo/Moto leaves a lot to be desired

Is this a normal thing for every rooted device? If not, what should I do to get the certification back?
Have you done this?

You need to change the device fingerprint so it will come up as certified. There is a Magisk module for this.
