Sharing apk files doesn't mean they would work, they would probably have to be ported to be compatible with other devices which requires a lot of effort and there won't be many that would bother doing it.

Yes, friend, that is my idea, I think I express myself wrong, but I would like the previously mentioned apps to be able to work on any device, be it Motorola, because many of these are not widely compatible with many android devices and if they take the time to port these apps I would appreciate it an amount

Thanks but that's the apk for com.motorola.camera and is version 4.0.7.5
I'm looking for com.motorola.cameraone which is a more up-to-date app for the moto g4 and z range of phones but it can also be ported to work on older last years range of moto phones.

I'm unable to disable the shutter sound, and also unable to change the photo storage location in my Moto G4 plus. I flashed cypheros 3.1.1 cheesecake, and there was no native camera app included in the ROM. I had to install this camera app, and I think the phone now treats this like any other user installed app, and doesn't allow me to change the storage location. What do I do?

The Moto2 Camera app is by far the best I've used in my smart device history. (Whereas I remember my droid x2 having the absolute worst camera and camera app , with the exception of any and all blackberry cams)
I read a bunch of scathing reviews on the Z² Force camera, and honestly I don't understand why. I've had fantastic results thus far, even in terrible lighting situations. It has excellent manual support when you want it, and pretty damn good auto function. I'll update this with some pictures later. ( Only have pictures of my daughter right now, don't want to put her on the web).
I will say though, the "smart object detection" is a bit silly. I understand where it is leading, and even remember the Bill Nye episode on this technology, so I respect it... But... Keep it out of my stock camera app.

You can disable this... BUT I think it's a great thing having this on stock camera... It's nothing particularly new (e.g. Goggles...), but having this at "a shaking distance" would male this a lot more usable...
Update to previous post. These are some pics I took in full auto mode while at work. I know it wasn't the initial purpose of post, but figured whatevs.

I've been digging through the Moto apps from the X4 to see how much is compatible with my Z, and to my surprise the Moto Display APK works perfectly and upgrade the Z's to that of the Z2 series, complete with the option to reply without unlocking the screen. No root needed, just install like any other APK. Thought I'd share. Enjoy! :good:

On a Moto X4.
I extracted everything that looked useful/interesting, have had limited success with most of the rest though - was really hoping to find a way to enable Night Display without root as it's the only feature of the current gen I'm sorely missing on my Z. A number of other apps install but don't work, like the Moto app (which demands it be uninstalled when launched) and the updated Voice APK which appears to work and completes enrollment yet doesn't respond to the ShowMe commands.
Lol makes sense ?, well hopefully you can find some more interest stuff that will work.
If your able to upload what you've extracted I'd love to take a look at some.of the apps.

They both don't install on MM. Probably are Nougat+ only apks...
how to uninstall them?
Disabling the apps will uninstall them, then just enable again.
Should this work on all Zs, including ZPlay?

Moto display works on Moto X Style with nougat update, can't seem to download Moto action apk

The Moto display APK works on my g5+ but the other APK refuses to parse. The new Display APK does nothing but change the appearance slightly but its pretty neat.

You can disable the app and then re-enable it. Since android treats this APK as an update it should revert it.

Bro, I am on pie and this version works like a charm.....I like the dark theme you implemented and the new icon but the whenever I use Reel feature, Gallery is getting stopped every now and then.
However, I have seen another build of this very gallery where dark theme isn't implemented along with the icon but Reel feature is working like charm in it. I downloaded that version from here:
