Are you referring to the issue where SystemUI fails to startup and you're met with only your home screen showing icons but no wallpaper and the status and navigation bars are missing?
I've noticed it tends to happen for me when clearing dalvik cache and rebooting into the system but that used to be rare. On the latest updates it has happened more often or almost every time I clear dalvik (which i only do for my frequent dex modifications)
I'd go to the riru or edxposed github and file an issue if there isn't one already reported.

Your sistemUI doesn't start I think. I'm not able to know what causes the problem without magisk logs to check it but I'm pretty sure is that. You can try to just keep the last working version for you, unless the xposed modules you are using force you to update Riru

After trying several methods, discovered; remove the xposed meow app. Flash riru lsposed and use this app to activate modules. I'm using android 12 gsi phherguson.

Is there a possibility to have a backup method of the existing programs before a new rom version will be installed? And can i use it with different versions? It takes a lot of time to install the programs again and initialise it with the serial numbers.

Backup erstellen und bei der Wiederherstellung die Zusammenführungsstufe 1 wählen.
Aber meiner Meinung nach wirst du es letztendlich nur durch ausprobieren herausfinden.
Mal funzt es, mal kannst du damit auf die Nase fallen.
Ich denke wenn der Cook im neuen Rom etwas in der registry getuned hat, dann überschreibst du das mit der registry aus dem Backup.
Hoffe es hilft ein wenig.

You can try to restore data from a previous ROM, but you can run into (registry) trouble. If you have the time and energy to setup an automated installer to do all kinds of installations and provisioning for you, you can take a look at Sashimi.
I need help with my O² IIs; if I don't use it for a while (one to 20 seconds) the sound always turns off and I can't navigate or use the phone. The sound also cannot be set to a level (loud/quiet), because the adjuster hang down on quiet.

grundsaetzlich sind nicht englisch-sprachige posts im forum unerwuenscht. zumal es sich um ein problem mit der deutschen rom handelt, waere es angebracht gewesen, dort zu posten
das kann im grunde nur 3 ursachen haben:
1. recht unwahrscheinlich: dein touch screen ist nicht richtig ausgerichtet, einfach mal nachjustieren ueber die einstellungen
2. sound wird auch vom radio rom geregelt, evtl ist da beim flashen was schief gelaufen, z.b. sim karte oder sd karte im geraet vergessen, und dann kann sich das radio schon mal verabschieden.
3. und am wahrscheinlichsten: der laustaerke regler an der linken seite des geraets hat einen schaden und moechte immer runterregeln, das wuerde dann erklaeren, wieso das geraet nichts anderes mehr akzeptiert, weil ja schon permanent eine taste gedrueckt wird und natuerlich auch, wieso der ton weg ist. einfach mal geraet oeffen und sich die ecke anschauen und ggf reinigen.

the radio rom:
you might have realized that during the booting process, there are 3 numbers, R, G, D
R shows you the radio version currently installed. D: shows the OS rom, meaning the rom you flashed, WM6.5.5 the file you flashed is named nk.nbf and the radio rom would be named radio_.nbf and the flashing process is exactly the same.
ok, but what does it do?
the radio rom handles all the hardware related things, meaning the OS rom uses drivers and the radio rom to actually handle the device, the GSM, GPRS, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, camera, sound, microphone...
sometimes it works well (no sound problem)...

radio roms are generally not included in the roms here. but after downloading a radio, the process of flashing is the same, remove the sim and sd card, put the device into bootloader mode, flash using maupgradeut_noid, after flashing, perform a hard reset, pressing power+reset and camera+record and in the menu set No Yes Yes.
and yes, you might want to upgrade the radio, the 1.15.00 is the newest version and seems to work great for most people including myself.
i flashed my PDA and the Radio rom, but I cannot get out of the bootoptions mode. The OS only starts if i take a soft reset
sorry, i did't read your tutorial, but the mail button doesn't work
on a device with broken mail button, you have to connect to the device using mtty (in the wiki). for that connection you have to put the device into bootloader mode, connect the device, start mtty, set it to usb or wceusb, whichever is provided, 115200, 8,1,no,none,none, hit ok and then it connects. press enter and it should show a prompt

then your device should hard reset and then restart, if it doesn't, just soft reset.

Best bet is to grab a Goldcard of some desire or just a normal card and try rerooting from scratch, wiping everything on the phone and then starting again,
if you can get into recovery and use recovery-windows.bat you should be able to wipe it quite nicely

Nothing.... remember you have done things your phone is not setup to deal with. You bought a branded phone and therefore it is expecting branded updates etc. This is like buying a car, fitting a turbo-charger then complaining to the manufacturer when it stops working...
Anyway rather than rewriting this, try this

Basically,FroYo requires a 2.6.32 kernel and a 5.xxx radio.I believe that once you get those it'll work.But still,strangely enough,they should all have been updated with the OTA...Well,I do believe there is something wrong!Most probably it's what jameson_uk said.
It was my fault......my Goldcard was buggered.....have managed to flash it back to life, just need to update the radio now.....can radios be installed via RUU as the 'update.zip' thing won't work.....HTC please accept my apology,I'm a ****
A goldcard during the OTA would have solved the problem. Heres a how-to-fix-it from a swiss forum. Its german but google translate should solve that:
1.
Sucht und ladet euch das Tool: GoldCardTool-0.0.5
2.
Sichert eure persönlichen Dateien von der Speicherkarte (Kartenleser am Laptop oder Rechner) und formatiert die Speicherkarte im Rechner (Fat32)
3.
Karte ins Handy und starten. Dann das Handy an den Rechner anschließen und warten bis die tolle "System Prozess reagiert nicht" Meldung kommt. Klickt auf Warten.
4.
Nun erscheint die Abfrage, für welchen Zweck die Karte sein soll. Klickt auf "HTC Sync" und führt möglichst schnell danach das o.g. Tool aus. Klickt dazu auf "GetCID".
5.
Nicht verzagen, wenn die CID nicht gleich beim ersten mal gelesen werden kann. Bei mir hat es auch mehrere Versuche gekostet. Falls es nicht beim ersten Mal klappt, versucht es weiter bis es geht. (Punkt 3 und 4 wiederholt ausführen)
6.
Wenn ihr die CID habt, klickt auf den Link darunter und lasst euch das Goldcard image via E-Mail zuschicken.
7.
Nun packt ihr die Karte wieder in den Rechner (Tool nicht vorher schließen !!!). Der Rechner erkennt die Karte und fügt sie in das Dropdown Menu ein (ansonsten "Refresh" klicken).
8.
Klickt auf "Load GoldCard Image" und sucht die Datei, die ihr per Mail bekommen habt.
9.
Klickt nun auf "Patch MMC" und ihr habt die ersehnte GoldCard
So, danach gehts wie folgt weiter:
10. Update (wenn nicht mehr vorhanden) von folgendem Link downloaden und als update.zip auf SD-Karte kopieren:

11. Karte wieder ins Gerät
12. Handy starten mit Druck auf Volume down und Power gleichzeitig, dann:
- "Recovery" auswählen und warten bis der Bildschirm mit dem roten Dreieck kommt
- "Volume up" und Power gleichzeitig drücken
- "Install update from update.zip" wählen
Dauert ein wenig, danach kommt die Meldung das man Reboot wählen soll. Also mit Power den Punkt Reboot bestätigen.
Handy startet einige Male neu, ohne wirklich Reaktion zu zeigen (auch auftretende Install-Balken ändern sich nicht wirklich), also bitte mal mind. 10 min zeit nehmen.

ich habe ein großes Problem!!! Ich habe mein HTC one x schon mit etlichen Roms ausprobiert und jedesmal das gleiche Problem gehabt.
Ich möchte unbedingt den neusten faux123 oder Franco Kernel (faux am liebsten) drauf haben um bessere Performenc zu erreichen; Sprich ich will einen übertakteten Kernel mit mindestens 1,7-2,1 MHz haben. Ich würde gerne das meine GPU Lesitung steigt und ich besser Tegra 3 Spiele spielen kann. Wenn es da andere bessere Kernel gibt nimm ich gerne Tips an
So und nun mein Problem:
Egal was ich versuche, ich kann nie einen anderen Kernel drauf packen als den des Roms!!! Egal was ich versuche!
Also ich weiß ja inzwischen wie ich Flashe: fastboot erase cache...fastboot flash boot name.img aber es nützt nichts!!! Sobald ich einen neuen Kernel geflasht habe und die moduls drauf gepackt habe und ich mein Handy neu starte fährt er nicht mehr hoch. Er kommt immer nur bis zum ersten HTC Zeichen. Ich weiß nicht ob es etwas damit zu tun hat aber nur mal erwähnt, habe ich Hboot 1.36 und mein Handy ist auch gerootet.
Könnt ihr mir sagen ob ich etwas falsch mache oder woran es liegt? Am liebsten würde ich wieder Paranoid Android drauf haben, aber wenn ihr mir etwas besseres empfehlen könnt bin ich auch gerne dazu bereit
Bitte helft mir ich bin schon nun mehr als 5 Tage an meinem Handy ohne Ergebniss!!!!

I tryed flash it, but phone reboot just to normal recovery. Some instructions say that additional vbmeta has to be flashed. But which version of vbmeta (android 10 QP1A.190711.020, MIUI 12.0.2.0)??
I'm not using telegram, and will not use it in future, so i can't see whats going on there.
And i don't like to try to flash a vbmeta, as long, as nobody confirm, that it works on my (non-chinese)device, because it was to expensive to risk to brick that phone.
Anyone can help me?

I have General Probs with TWRP or Orange and Roots under Android 10+ and Mi Stockrom, i have brick my android and must flash new stockrom, thats only by install a few standardfunctions. I think only chance is install a alpha or beta customrom with all permissions, with high risk on other probs, for normal users. Thx Google and Mi for a non complete backupsystem .
Und da dieses smartphone wohl auch nicht der Verkaufsschlager ist, hat es geringe halbwertszeit und daher wohl auch kaum chancen auf brauchbare weiterentwicklungen im Custombereich (wobei ich da in der Vergangenheit auch nicht die besten Erfahrungen mit gesammelt habe bzw die erfahrung das in Customroms 100% irgendwas nicht richtig funktioniert). Die Foren sind jedenfalls generell wenig besucht für dieses Modell, daher werden sich Entwickler kaum mühe dafür machen. Und bei Android und Stockroms hab ich die Hoffnung längst aufgegeben das es da nochmal so einfach wird wie unter Prägooglezeiten. Sorry war mir jetzt zu kompliziert den letzten Absatz ein zu denglischen.
Ich werde es daher wohl auf Iphone niveau belassen auf dem Android ja inzwischen dank Google angekommen ist.
Besser ne fahrende Ente als ein stehender Mercedes.
