so my oneplus 5t had problems booting it gets pass the logo but it stay all black screen.so i went into safe move and reformatted my phone but that didnt work is still getting black screen. when i reformatted my phone and click reboot it told me there was no OS install on it. where can i get the OS to fix this problem ?

I didn't like half-as*ed OOS10 update for 5T so i decided to rollback to latest OOS9 which is 9.0.11 but after using for a while i remember good ol' days that this version had problems with aggresive background app killing, i couldn't remember which OOS9 was the best for 5T, is beta 33 any good?
Tried Open Beta 33 for a while but it has battery optimization problems similar to 9.0.11, it kills some processes like Whatsapp then unable to receive messages unless i open Whatsapp manually. This has been also reported with Oneplus Nord.
Seems like OOS 9.0.10 and above is preparation upgrades for OOS10 and they are buggy as F.
If anyone wants to go back some stable OOS9 version i suggest you to use 9.0.9. Its the latest working OOS9 rom for 5T.

I've accidentally stumbled upon this while trying to revive my Find 7 X9076.
There is a way to Run Lineage OS 16 AND install Gapps WITHOUT unifying storage.
I had to remove the device compatibility checks in the OS to be able to install this without Error 7.
My phone - Find 7 X0976
Recovery - TWRP 3.1.0-0
Storage - Stock (16gb + 16gb)
Step 1 - Boot into Recovery
Step 2 - Reset and Wipe for Fresh Install
Step 3 - Install Lineage OS 16
Step 4 - Install BITGapps for Android 9.0
Step 5 - Reboot and enjoy
I don't know about rooting or anything else, just how to get around the Gapps failing to install. Bitgapps is small enough to install without any jury rigging.

I use MindtheGapps for my oppo Find 7. Lineage has dropped support for Oppo Find 7 I guess. I can't find the page anymore. Can I know what version is the LOS 16 in that link? Anyone know where to download the older versions?

See on archive.org: LineageOS Backup 2021-02-17 - "LineageOS mirror/backup made on 2021-02-17 after LineageOS 16 was "dropped" > Show all files > roms/ > {device}.
Sadly old LineageOS packages are automatically deleted from the LineageOS servers after 4~6 weeks.

If you do a little searching, there’s actually a dedicated thread for all of the versions and a little bit more searching will lead you to the untouched/patched boot.img for that version.

I updated today. and I also have root. I do have 1 bug. The message app and I have tried a bunch will not download MMS pictures. and I can't find a fix. That's the only bug I have. I love colorOS over oxygenOS any day.

I've tried the 12.1 and 12 core and base versions but I'm still stuck on the eye animation. Thanks!

You most likely got the steps wrong. Do the steps all again, please, and properly.
Use the latest Firmware from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/alioth/
Flash CrDroid.zip in Recovery: OrangeFox (official website) or TWRP (people recommend "SKKK"),
Reboot Recovery -> Format Data,
Boot system once to check it's all good,
Boot Recovery -> Format Data -> Flash NikGapps and the NikGapps Addons that you want
this should work.
Note: When v14 Firmware (Android v13 Firmware) comes out, do not use it for Android v12 Custom ROMs like CrDroid v8.1
