Im on KLEN...MP3 firmware version and the call volume and mic gain is really low. Have to shout into the phone for people to hear me, and can barely hear anything. Any one else experience this? Any fixes to boost call volume and mic gain?

My ringer volume is extremely low and when I talk to someone on the phone they say I sound far away. Is there a fix for this? I have not flashed any rom yet just the root. Thx

I've been using a few different ROMS and have noticed that the in-call volume is quite low.
Often I am straining to hear the other person or ask them to talk louder. They can hear me fine.
My hearing is fine and I have turned the in-call volume up to maximum.
Can anyone advise if there is a mod that can louden this, or is it kernel related??
I would appreciate the guidance.

Hi..this is about low mic gain when a call is put on phone speaker rather than the earpiece...I'm not talking about the speakerphone volume but the volume that the other party hears due to the level of gain in our phone microphone... I have noticed that the mic gain is very low in speakerphone mode, such that the other person cannot even hear you unless you are very close to the phone.... basically it seems the mic gain does not increase when the call is changed from earpiece to the speakerphone..
Is somebody else experiencing this? And is there a solution?

Hi I am new to XDA. I am on Ressurection Remix 5.59 rom and when I am on a phone call with headphones on, I can only hear on the left side ear bud. The call volume is also very low with headphones as people complain they cannot hear me. Is there any way to workaround and fix this so I can hear in both earbuds during calls? And to increase mic volume using headphones as well?
Is anyone else upset about the low volume while on a call. Is there anyway to change it? Or modify etc/path.XML. just need a little boost not much. Already using viper and dual audio speaker mod so those don't seem to help at all as they don't control the ear piece. I'm rooted on latest pure nexus.
I actually sometimes put in-call volume too high and it hurts my ear unless I hold the phone away an inch or two because it's too loud.
I have WiFi calling turned on, and voice privacy off.
NO issue at all! It's call quality is great! Crystal clear and loud sound!
Perhaps the dual speaker mod affected call volume in some way? I don't have that mod but do have V4A. No issues with call volume.
Hmm, probably the ROM. Cause this phone has the best call quality I have ever experienced, and too loud, and look where I live! Including them old Nokias and Motorolas and BlackBerries.
