Safetynet failed after upgrade to OOS 11 - OnePlus 7T Questions & Answers

Upgraded from 10 to 11.0.0.2
All went smoothly, but now I'm failing the Safetynet test with an API error.
Passed the test before the update.

It's an API error. Install the latest magisk manager apk from github. You'll be fine

Do I need to uninstall the current one first or just install over it?

For anyone else with same issue
Problem is known in Magisk forum and fix should be released soon. For now
Unhide Magisk, install Canary, rehide Magisk

Safetynet failing with Android N

Havent had the opportunity to try Android pay yet. Anyone else getting similar results? Android pay and Safetynet worked before updating via beta test ota.

Lineage Os and Magisk issues

So I own a LeEco Le s3 x626 and I've been trying to flash Lineage OS 7.1.2.
The rom flashes fine but I want to use Magisk instead of SU. The rom flashes supersu by default and I let that happen. I've tried many methods of flashing original boot image and Magisk then using boot image verifier but it just never boots up and goes in a bootloop.
I am wondering if replacing the supersu zip with a Magisk zip will work since it flashes supersu on boot but if I do that it will instead flash Magisk. Will that work?

That is the script in the Aroma installer folder
That is the location of the supersu file
Link to rom: please pm
Please ask if you don't understand my English
Umm... I don't understand what you're saying, are you trying to root your Android device using Magisk?

Do I actually have Widevine L1 on a custom ROM, or is this a glitch?

More or less, just got my phone back from OnePlus to have the Widevine L1 work done. First two photos are from me on OOS 9.0.11, unrooted and bootloader locked.

I just changed over to Pixel Experience, and I seemed to have retained my L1 status?
Is this a glitch? Do other people see the same thing?
Also, I noticed Netflix can be installed from the Play Store but won't launch with an error code 15001. Is there something I have to spoof to get this working?
Yeah, you will retain the L1 status, but Netflix doesn't seem to be working. I also had similar issue then I found out about liboemcrypto disabler magisk module, after installing this, Netflix worked but there is no HD support as the magisk module disables it. P.s. i had Cn v2.52 rooted earlier with no issues, but i so much Chinese bloatware. now that Global ROM was released, i want to go back to stock. for now at least.
Google has made changes to how SafetyNet is detected and passing is no longer likely. See:
https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/03/11/safetynet-improvements-kill-magisk-hide/?amp
It passes both for me, check if you have locked OEM and Bootloader. Also turn on Magisk Hide if it's not turned on yet, it hides from a certain Google Play Services module
I found this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/LiQor-mXNq8

If you do lose root, it won't be because of the official firmware, other than waiting for Magisk to get updated whenever necessary. Since Magisk Canary was already updated for the P6P/P6 December firmware, this one shouldn't require any further changes in Magisk for it to work. Each of the following months, however, just wait until others report success. That's what I do unless I find I have the time and energy to be an early tester myself. Just read, read, read, and double-check everything you do.
