Why ain't Google giving us daydream vr
We have daydream vr services
from play store we can't install Daydream app
But I downloaded the apk and works 100% Fine!!!!!!
Why is Google doing this??

i tried but beside load the app and do the first configuration you cant do anything, the vr button cause immediate crash.

Any AOSP Custom ROM with Dual Apps feature like MIUI?

Dear all,
I love the dual app feature on MIUI and I'm already using it. Is there any other AOSP roms with this feature, NATIVELY SUPPORTED?
I don't want to install a third party app from Google Store, MIUI has it natively supported and it's working flawlessly so far.

So how come it's working flawlessly in MIUI? I guess it shows that MIUI is a really well developed ROM. I don't understand why people choose custom ROMs over MIUI... Just because Oreo and Pie difference?

You would never understand the difference to play games at high resources then, and google camera, and no secret ads, and so on, and so on.

AOSP gives you a lot of free space and resources to work with. You would not understand why people prefer AOSP based ROMs unless you actually try one.
And as for dual app feature, you can try using Parallel Space

Dude..just get miuipro or masik if you need stable dual apps and they also have miui gcam and all ads removed.
Dont listen to these AOSP praisers.
Miui is almost flawless as of now.

I don't really play games on my phone, I play games on my awesome laptop CS:GO and Dota 2. I have Google Camera on my MIUI too, arnova port. Also no ads. However, AOSP ROMs don't have dual apps feature and they need a third party software for this. MIUI doesn't

Agreed, I'm pretty much happy with MIUI. I was just wondering if there is such AOSP ROM, so maybe I could give it a try. Dual apps feature is a MUST for me, as I have multiple accounts on some platforms and I have to be online on them all.
What's the difference between Masik and MIUI Pro? Which one would you recommend?

Both are essentially the same but miuipro offers just a tad bit more customisation here and there.

Here's the thing, idc with what games did you play on your laptop. But if you need a high frames and high quality games, you would need another rom because last time I checked miui is limiting user to do so. And it's a gift for me. Anyway, it's my two cents, no one is forcing you here.

Thank you for your 2 cents! But like I said, dual apps feature is very important for me, so I wish there was an AOSP ROM which natively supports it. Then I'd surely go on AOSP ROM too!

I would recommend you to use parallel space.There are also some other apps like Dual Space ,2accounts,moChat etc
Now to answer the question of the thread,no there is no custom rom built from source which supports dual apps feature as they are just bare vanilla roms with some tweakings here and there.Many people including me prefers that as they don't need that much feature of miui and some also hate the miui interface.
Now if you want to use some other custom rom which has dual apps support then go for treble roms like Funtouch OS,oxygen OS,colour OS and Zen UI roms .Since these roms are not built from source,they have some bugs here and there but it's worth a try if you are feeling adventurous and are looking for roms with dual apps feature

I used parallel space and island in the past. The concept of this two apps are different but I tend to like parallel space more as it was not really make me messing with system file more

I recommend you to think again.
Xiaomi Cloud home screen does not backup MIUI dual apps.
TWRP does not backup MIUI dual apps.
TitaniumBackup does not backup MIUI duap apps.
TWRP does backup Parallel space app.
TitaniumBackup does backup Parallel space app.

If you don't what AOSP is, I suggest you to stick with the stock rom.
About the Russian roms mentioned above, use roms only from trusted sources like Lineage OS. There are shady people out there and you will never know what is inside the rom.

You can use app cloner to do that. By this software you can create your own app. That can work as a dual app. By app cloner you will be able to create infinite amount of copy's of that app. And you can use 100+ account together if you got space .
So, you can try app cloner on miui for a test. And also app cloner is filled with other amazing features as well

crDroid 9.0 has introduced this as a native feature in Miscellaneous settings knows as "Parallel Space"

there is new fire hound game booster coming to aosp roms by default that is almost same as miui game booster. syberia will have it in the next build. i dont know which which rom has it though

I like the ui, the fps meter you can access messages n whatapp while being in game via small window.
N yes the screen recorder with system sound option.

Lol, if you optimize MIUI it's the same or better than AOSP. I mean I get almost always over 10 hours of SOT.

Even so, I see for myself no reason to go through the hassle and unlocking my bootloader. The newest MIUI Pie performs well enough for me and I not notice any lag. And pure AOSP would be useless for me, since I need Google for my backups and alot of savegames from my games I play and of course for the games themselves since MicroG can't emulate the PlayGames Api. And last I can't compare a Performance difference to any Other phone, since my last phone before I bought my Note 5 last year in october, was an old Galaxy S4, so I didn't know how any phone performs between the S4 I had and my Note 5 and anything above of course, since flagships are way out of what I'm willing to pay for a Smartphone. And since I love to have a certified phone and don't like Magisk, I prefer Stock anyway without any modifications. The only thing I do is that I disable some useless Apps through Adb like Chrome or Play Music/Movies and my adblock comes from Blokada, that's it and I'm happy with it.

Thats my qustion too. I thought i can use google camera mod when Camera2API is enabled, didn't know that it is the used chipset is important too.

Theoretically someone briliant cound make it possible to work.
But google camera uses special snapdragon processor architecture command (which dont have mtk). It is designed for snapdagon and almost every port of google camera use the same command to work and work only on snadragon processor. Google camera oryginally is designed for snapdragon google pixels.

ONE IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO SAY, THAT GOOGLE CAMERA WORK on this phone​

i've logged-in to Vivo Account but for curiosity and not for other things. Still don't tried to change launcher because the stock here is pretty perfect and customizable .
I can receive notifications from all apps here and never had locked them in multitasking. Only need to grant all authorizations under settings

That's good to know about notifications, I just hate not having a app drawer lol

Thing that i don't like is that Google Pay it seems to not be supported.
I have an error when i try to finalize the registration. So no contactless options out there.
Maybe depends from Google License missed here ?

Ive never bought anything from Giztop before. Do you recommend? Also, do they open up the phones to inspect them? I know you said it was the Chinese version and it didnt come with playstore, so I assume it was preopened. I prefer that my phones arent opened by someone else.
