Is there any other way to unlock the bootloader of lenovo p2?

Guys can you suggest any other method to unlock the bootloader of lenovo p2 because as you must have seen most people like me cannot turn on oem unlocking in developer settings as it shows lenovo id without permission error. Please suggest.

Ridiculous situation, facing the same problem here in Australia with a p2a42 extremely frustrating

Nah bro, If they really cared for our privacy data, they would have provide monthly security patches, or a proper software update. The latest version of the software they provided is so buggy, but neither would they fix it nor would they let us fix it ourselves. ?

Bdw XDA posted a article regardin this P2 problem. You saw that? Some agent replied in the Lenovo forum that they will try to solve this problem. Well its been more than 10days..but maybe, maybe it'll see the light of the day.
Here's being hopeful ?

Someone from our community working to bypass the same using files from already unlocked device. I given up hope on Lenovo. He is the last resort for us probably.

You should check youtoube . Some Indian guy posted a video on how to unlock it without getting on Lenovo servers .

Question About Xiaomi's Beta Recruitment Process.

As many of you may already know, Xiaomi has began recruiting beta testers for Android 9 on the Mi A2 Lite, and is allowing applications up until November 18th, 2018.
I've made my application and now am just waiting for them to approve me.
But how long do I have to wait? Until Nov. 19th?

Apparently you can see the 2nd IMEI if you move your SIM card to slot 2.

I only submitted my 1 IMEI and got accepted (in the first round). So I'm not sure

Recruitment (second round) is still open until the day after tomorrow, so you may need to wait some more.

I submitted 2 requests with 2 different accounts but non of them get accepted till now xd
I will wait hopefully to be chosen

I've submited my candidature to be MIUI Beta team but no PM as this time.
I've have only fill the form with my first IEMEI... not the second!
I hope that update on Pie version will solve Camera Intensity variation and the Android Car Screen !

I bet they have silently cancelled it, there was a beta project in my country, I was approved, but never received the ota, it is now gone from the beta app.
Pretty disappointed tbh, Huawei and Honor just lost yet another customer

But some recent news on internet are even confirming EMUI 9.1 for our device. How could they cancel 9.0 and confirm 9.1. Maybe they are upgrading the device directly to 9.1 that's why they removed the 9.0 Update from FUT

I did not say they would cancel the update altogether, just the beta project, which they obviously did.

There seem to be some updates for your model on Firmware Finder, if you're willing to tinker with it you can give HuRUpdater a try. Personally, I just wanted emui 9 to move to newer openkirin releases.

Yes there are but I don't have a spare phone these days to use as a daily driver if anything messes up so I am a little bit afraid to do a force update.

Which security patch did you have on EMUI 9.1? I'm looking to move to OmniRom and apparently the security patches from May onwards caused bootloops with OpenKirin images.

It came with the June security patch, I was not able to use OmniRom (bootloops as you said, adb starts tho not fully) but I actually tried RR for emui 9 and it worked

np, I got pretty worried when I got the bootloop, thinking that the update to emui 9.1 was somehow "incomplete".
Btw under RR the device is seen as "Kirin Treble" and not Honor 7X, but from what I can tell everything works fine. Do you also have the European model?

Yes it's the European model, same as mine

Can I Install Android 10 in USA?

I want to buy the mate 20X. Since I live in USA can I install android 10 on it? If I .have problems installing it in USA, are there other ways of installing it?

My dad's Hong Kong unit still hasn't received Android 10/EMUI 10 despite changing the region in HiCare to other countries. YMMV.

I have the l29 model in south carolina and am running emui android 10 no problems

GO to support app (new name ) then chnge to china try or EU and check for updates

Don't you also need to use a VPN to connect to a server of said country? Worked for me months ago but not sure if that was down to my vpn or not.

Now that you mentioned that I should try that. I know with my OnePlus I use to do that in order to get updates quicker.

I've hestd about that too. Someone mentioned using a foreign sim. But I think you should use both sim and vpn to ensure the update goes through. Its cat and mouse with huawei. Can't understand how they're the #2 handset maker in the world with all these issues and unnecessary mistakes.

I live in the USA and used the Huawei HiSuite app on my computer to update my Mate 20x to Android 10.

HiSuite never shows any updates on my end. Did you manually point it to a file or did it automatically find and download it?

I automatically installed the latest update. The weird thing is I own two Mate 20X and the other will not update. I can't figure it out. I have tried everything I know to do.

I can't connect via magic suite no matter what I do. File transfer on, USB debugging on, HDB on, restarted the pc after installing honor suite... I'm out of ideas. On My Honor app I can't find a way to do that, seems quite limited.

In the My Honor settings, change the regions, on one of them you will have a warranty and update buttons.

Changing to UK does show up a system update button, but that just goes to settings and says I'm up to date

Is it possible the update just isn't available in my country yet? Or is everyone up to date already?
