I have noticed that dt2s doesn't work on stock MIUI rom, with system launcher. DT2W does work, however.
I have enabled it from system settings.
With Poco launcher it works but then gesture control doesn't work.
Where is it? I can't find this option on my EEA rom.
There is not double tap screen off function on global rom. This function have only on custom roms as eu rom
It's is there in global. However it wakes up screen from off, and go to sleep when double touch on lock screen. But not when unlocked.
It's not there in the Global Rom as i have it

Tried, you are right
It works only if you are on lock screen to sleep, so unuseful...
Double tab to sleep didn't work on global ROM, but it does so on MiuiMix

In the older version of android you could just slide from the lock screen but how do you do it now in 4.0?

quickest way i can think of from the lock screen is widgetlocker. It has a ICS lock screen with the addition of a vibrate option. It's a paid app though
or press and hold the power button as you want to turn off the phone.
there is a option to silence it.
"sirioid vibrate"
I used Beautiful Widgets and created a vibrate toggle on my homescreen.
I reflashed the Stock UAMDL rom and then reflashed TWRP and root. (after trying a few roms and having strange behavior in the Gapps, specifically).
How do I get my screen to unlock and show the time when I swipe my hand over the screen/sensor, when the phone is locked?
It does not seem to work now. All the other hand gestures/eye-gestures works fine, it just do not want to unlock the screen to show the time anymore.
Ideas? Am I missing a setting, somewhere?
Thanks
Go to Settings > Motions and Gestures then click on air gestures and make sure quick glance is on

DUH!!!!
Thank you! I feel like an idiot, after flashing stock twice in a row, thinking it was corrupt or something.
Just wondering why TMO/SAMSUNG turns this off by default.
Again - Thanks
Probably off for default to have better battery life
I remember, We used to have this option in CM 12.1 based roms like RR 5.5.x.
So I am just asking if there is any CM 13 based rom which has the same option of Lock Screen Method: Gesture so that we can unlock the screen with our own gesture (Instead of using pattern or Pin or swipe).
The screenshot is attached below.

Gesture Unlocker Xposed module is doing the job for me
I was searching for tips and tricks for this phone, and found the "raise to wake". The thing is... It's not in the settings, actually. I don't have that option at all. I'm pretty sure I did see it before, but now it just isn't there. My question is... Does the Redmi 7 actually have raise to wake on it? Or has it never had it?
I only got double tap to wake but no raise to wake
its in xiaomi.eu rom

Miui bugs on Poco F3 (Nova Launcher and display gesture)
Hi guys, since yesterday I got the Poco f3 8/256 gb, the device has two annoying problems both with the miui 12.0.1, and with an update today to 12.0.2. The first bug is the inability to use the gesture display, and take advantage of the whole...

Look for that in settings. If you don't find it then your rom ver probably doesn't have it
