Experience
The unique shape of these earbuds have caught my attention since a while and the current price (30 Euros with 6 Euros discount, around 24 Euros on the DE Market) made it a great deal for me. Considering that I already own different shaped earbuds, this was a new experience for me that I didn't expect.
Due to an ease in the lockdown restrictions, it has been easier for me to test these earbuds. The design of the ear fines make it amazingly comfortable to run, and it doesn't hurt or cause any irritation after x hours of usage. Of course, you need to expect some sweat while running, but it doesn't cause any slipping to the earbuds.
Package
The package is similar to previous models and comes with a charging cable, 3 different sized ear fines, two different sized tips, along with a protective cushion for the charging box. The charging box itself has a wide design and protects the earbuds well inside.
Design
The design itself is straightforward. The ear fines have a clear outline and are soft to touch. The controls' area is easily touchable on the surface without any needed force. The earbuds sit comfortably without any issues. The firm grip of these earbuds is ensured, thanks to the different-sized ear fines.
It's notable to indicate that you need to choose the perfect ear fines size, otherwise, it will be slipping if the ear fines are smaller than the ear-resting area.
Quality
SoundPEATS has worked well on providing great quality into this model. The "pressure" and quality of sound are noticeable in various songs. It doesn't get affected while running/doing sports. Also, setting the volume low wouldn't cause any drop in quality or loss of immersion. It's crucial to not set a high volume, in order to avoid any damage for your ears. SoundPEATS considered this aspect while creating this model. Based on my personal experience, I was able to hear the outside interactions easily, but it didn't bother my music session. I was able to make the volume higher without having any uncomfortable feeling in my ears.
Testing these earbuds with bass-boosted music is a MUST to have a great experience in your session.
Performance, Usage
I was able to test these earbuds for two cycles. The first one lasted 22 hours of playback time (Spotify, normal volume, no changing of controls). The second cycle lasted around 21 hours. In this cycle, I was requesting a lot of controls changes to test the battery. It worked out well, considering that I changed the music at least 100 times in 3 hours.
In addition, the battery isn't affected much by the connection. The earbuds come with Bluetooth 5 chipset, which is known for an improved battery life.
The controls are simple:
Volume: Double click of the right earbud to increase, left earbud to decrease.
Next/Previous: Long click (1,5s) on the right earbud to next, left earbud to previous.
Pause/Resume: Normal click on the earbud.
Voice assistant: 3 clicks on the earbud to activate it.
These controls are easier to follow and remember. Most importantly is that you can also accept/end a call by clicking on the earbud.
Misc
The earbuds are priced for 29.99 Euro on Amazon (DE - 10.04.2021), with a 6 euros voucher, making the price as low as 23.99 Euro. It also comes with IPX7 rating, so you don't need to worry much about getting wet.
Daily usage
I have used these earbuds for the last two weeks. My usage has been mainly Spotify and also indoors due to fears of COVID-19. When I was outside, I would set the volume low to enjoy the music and also the outside interactions. The quality of music was perfectly balanced, and it didn't bother my ear.
Based on the quality and battery life, I found the earbuds to be suitable for me and can encourage you to buy them too. The price is also on point, despite having many competitive earbuds, SoundPEATS is easily better by a margin.
Notes:
Remove the charging safety tapes from the earbuds. It's transparent.
TL;DR:
Unique, outstanding design.
Firm grip, comfortable for long sessions.
Long playback times.
Easy controls.
Great Audio quality.
Extremely budget price (Voucher!)
I hope you enjoyed reading. I'll see you in my next review!

This is a review of Braven 855s wireless speaker. http://www.braven.com/braven-855s.html
2013 is not over yet, but I can tell you with certainty that portable wireless speakers and external battery supplies were among the top popular gadgets of this year. A smartphone is a heart of today's portable entertainment system that holds our music, our pictures, connects to our TV, plays popular video games, and does so much more including actually making calls Such entertainment system needs a way to deliver the sound where using built-in speaker just doesn't cut it. Furthermore, it consumes a lot of juice which drains your battery fast. The solution? Braven 855s which combines these two functionalities plus much more, and does it in STYLE!!!
Before starting with my review, let me get something off my chest. Yes, this speaker is on a pricey side with a tag of $300, and No, it's not intended for audiophiles. So let's take a look at what you are actually getting for this premium price, and why you should seriously consider 855s if you are looking for a high quality portable wireless speaker and considering either Big Jambox (I'm making a very bold statement here) or any other wireless speaker with famous rapper name attached to it.
Even before you open the box, you can already get your first impression by noticing the weight of this speaker. At almost 4 pounds this is not your average light-weight speaker with wimpy drivers to make it sound just a bit louder than a speaker on your smartphone. This is heavy duty wireless speaker crafted on a front and a back with perforated aircraft aluminum grade material and wrapped around with a quality rubber bumper that will let you withstand a serious outdoor activities while also attracting considerable amount of lint With a dimensions of 9.75" in length, 4.25" in height, and 3" in depth - it's still very portable, although the weight going to be very noticeable when you carry it around. It would have been great to see some kind of a collapsible handle that stores/hides into the bumper, but the non-slip grip was adequate to hold it with one hand for me. The speaker itself is IPX3 rated which means it's water resistant, but not recommended to be submerged under the water. So in a situation where you are by the pool, or someone spills a drink, or you outdoors and light rain starts to drip - you will have a piece of mind knowing it shouldn't damage your speaker. In general it's optimized to work both outdoors and indoors.
The connection to your phone or tablet is a typical bluetooth procedure, pair up within seconds and you ready to go. If your source doesn't have Bluetooth connection, you can use auxiliary input with an included 3.5mm cable. Or if you have a friend with another 855s or 850 speaker, you can wirelessly pair them up to double the power of the sound. At $300 a pop I personally consider it to be too much to get a pair just for this purpose. The speaker is rated at 20W of RMS, this is serious power! The sound is delivered by 2 front facing speakers hidden behind the grill, with a passive bass ports firing from the rear mesh grill of the enclosure. The sound has a signature heavy bass profile which is very popular with a lot of the today's headphones and speakers. To bring up more high frequency content, you can easily activate SRS WOW HD mode which widens the sound and bring up more mids/highs up front. I would personally only use it with SRS setup. Also, support of Apt-X codec helps to deliver sound context with minimal loses typical for Bluetooth connection. I'm still standing by my statement - this is not a speaker for audiophiles because it does color the sound, and you need to crank up the volume while taking a few physical steps back to really enjoy it. But don't crank it up too high because you start noticing the distortion. The sound is very powerful and loud, enough to fill in a big party room or to take your party room outside and still enjoy the sound in the open area.
Here is where it gets more interesting. I have noticed with a number of wireless speakers a trend of not including playback controls. You have a gadget that streams music 30+ feet away from your "entertainment system" and you have no way to play/pause or skip the track? With Braven 855s - you have full control of playback and volume! Buttons are at the top of the unit, rubberized and sealed to go along with it's rugged functionality and IPX3 water resistance. The speaker pairs up with both the audio output and the phone, and works great as a speakerphone. You play music, get a call - seamlessly switch between both, and once the call it done it fades back into the music. With noise canceling speakerphone people had no problem hearing me on the other end, and commented it was loud and clear. Also, you get about 20 hours of wireless play time which is above and beyond any other wireless speaker I have seen or tested. So, where do you get all this juice? From a built-in 8800 mAh rechargeable battery. Oh, and to take it to the next level - the output of this battery is made available as an external battery source to charge any of your phone or tablet or other gadget. There are no guess work here, you get 5-led indicators which partition battery reading into increments of 20% so you know exactly how much power is left when you discharging or the progress of charging the speaker. The actual charging is very fast thanks to AC/DC adapter which is rated at 12V/3A output. True, it's not your standard micro-usb connector, but you have to keep in mind we are dealing with 8,800 mAh battery that you want to charge fast rather than waiting half a day before its up.
Overall, I was very impressed with a high quality of it's built and the amount of technology packed into this compact speaker. One can argue about it's weight which is not exactly portable, but overall footprint is portable. It does come at a premium price, but I found it to be aligned with other premium speakers in this category. Considering all the additional features including ability to charge external devices, SRS WOW HD and Apt-X support, rugged design, and IPX3 water resistance - it actually makes Braven 855s a bargain if you were already planning to spend this amount on competitive speakers.

This is a review of Meelectronics Venture AirFi AF52 Stereo wireless headphones: http://www.meelec.com/product_p/hp-af52-bk-mee.htm
All of my previous wired and wireless headphone reviews were focused only on in-ear headphones (IEH). I decided to switch my gears with this review by looking at over-ear headphones with a very unique design that offers the best of both worlds - wireless and wired with an amazing array of features. So let's take a closer look.
The reason why I used to focus mostly on IEH because I don't like anything bulky and heavy over my head, but I also learned from reading a number of comments that some people prefer over-ear design because they don't like sticking buds inside of their ears. The perfect solution - 210g lightweight and super comfortable Venture AF52. With a soft earpad over-ear design and soft padding around the headband these feel very comfortable to wear and to keep on your head for an extended period of time. Headband is not too tight, yet balanced enough with a bend radius to keep these on while you are moving around, although I wouldn't recommend it for sports activities with a lot of jumping or moving. This design also makes a great passive noise isolation. The earcups can be folded flat for easy storage into the included velor drawstring pouch, and also can swivel to a degree into opposite direction for a better adjustment to your head shape around your ears. Made out of quality ABS plastic material with a metal spring inside of headband, the design feels very solid.
For convenience of operation, the audio playback, phone controls, and volume controls buttons are located on each side of earcups with 3 buttons in each side marked for easy identification. Right earcup has playback controls and also mini-usb charging port; not your typical common micro-usb although the cable is included. No need to worry about batteries, a full charge will last you up to 18 hours of talk and audio playback and 250 hours of standby time as noted by manufacturer. This is some impressive spec which also suggest about a decent battery size. Left earcup has volume up/down and multifunction power/pair up/phone button, a very generous mic, and 3.5mm audio input port. I was a little bit surprised that play/pause button wasn't utilized for handling calls since it's common with other headphones, but its a very minor thing which you get use to in no time. Pair up with a phone was seamless and afterwards took seconds from the time you power up headphones. I also was able to test Bluetooth range to operate up to 40ft before loosing connection. Once you loose the connection, I had to go back closer to my phone within 15-20ft to get paired up again. While playing music and loosing connection, I noticed music was paused until I got back within range to get re-connected again, and then hit play to resume. Also while making phone calls, I found connection and clarity from both sides to be excellent.
This brings me to the most important factor of any headphone - the sound quality. For anybody who enjoys a deep bass, you will be in heaven because these 40mm drivers surrounded by marshmallow-soft earpads can really pump some enhanced low frequency content! The bass was deep without being too overwhelming but definitely noticeable and dominating over the full frequency range. The mids and highs do sound clean, but not as crisp and detailed though easily fixable with EQ adjustment if you need to. I didn't notice any distortion at high volume levels and sound didn't get lost at low volume level either. As an option to wireless connection, you can use a wired connection with headphones off or even in parallel when they are on. I found this feature to be priceless. Although we are talking about headphones with 18hr battery life, I have been in situations before where I ran out of battery and had too look for my wired pair of earbuds. Or maybe you are on a plane where they don't allow wireless connection, or perhaps you want to listen to a device you are not paired up with or which doesn't have wireless connection (like a laptop). You can even be paired up with your phone and have wired connection to another tablet watching a movie and once you receive a phone call the audio coming through wired connection will be paused for you to connect to the call and then switch back once you are done. This is truly amazing, and I honestly haven't seen it with any other wireless headphones before. Another thing that made me scratch my head - the sound quality through wireless connection and with power off through wired connection was almost identical!!!!! How is this possible?!? I have no idea considering wireless connection typically compresses the sound thus reducing it's quality. Here, it was almost the same.
Overall, I think these headphones are very unique in its design and hybrid wireless/wired functionality. With an incredible battery life and selection of easy to use controls, comfort of use due to soft earpads and headband, and current Amazon price of under $80 - these have an incredible value. But you do need to keep in mind their bass-heavy sound signature.

Click to collapse
The clamping force is not bad, not too tight or too loose. But hey, it all has to do with a size of your head If you have a big head, it could be too tight, and if your head is too small - it will be loose
Head... Average size.
I bought those headphones and they arrive to me Friday to see that they are in that aspect because as far as sound I have good references and that for the price that they have they are not bad...
I'll see. Thanks for your answer
This is a review of MEElectronics KidJamz safe listening headphones for kids with a volume limiting technology http://www.meelec.com/KidJamz_Safe_Listening_Headphones_for_Kids_p/hp-kj15-bk-mee.htm , currently available on Amazon at an introduction price of $9.99 : http://www.amazon.com/MEElectronics-KJ15-Lightweight-Headphones-Volume-Limiting/dp/B00O5A4WHS/
Today I'm going to share with you about a very special pair of headphones. It doesn't have removable cables or multi-driver design, it doesn't have endorsement of rap stars or other celebrities, and it doesn't even have in-line controls for your smartphone. But if you are a parent or a grandparent with little/young kids in the house, these $10 headphones will be more valuable than any fancy IEMs or full size cans with all of the above mentioned features. Here is why.
The name MEElectronics is often associated with a high quality budget priced headphones, and it's well respected among many headphone enthusiasts. As a matter of fact, you will even hear quite often a seasoned Head-Fi audiophiles recommending Meelec eartips. I have tested and reviewed a number of their wired and wireless headphones in the past, but those were for my own listening pleasure. As a father of two young kids, I'm obviously concerned about their headphone listening habits, but have no way of regulating it when they use my headphones. We have purchased a number of children headphones in the past that had volume limiting feature, but they never lasted too long. That is a big problem with these types of headphones, and it's beyond me how you can design a product for an audience of 4-10 year olds, put appropriate safety features, and... have a thin cable and a flimsy plastic headband.
KidJamz headphone have a check mark next to every parents requirement. They have a thick durable tangle-free cable with a heavy duty headphone plug which has a decent strain relief and comfortable grip. The cable connection to earcup also has a good strain relief. Earcups shape and fitment is very comfortable, and they have removable foam earpads which I found to be of a higher density than other headphones of the same type. The headband is adjustable with a default state small enough for little kids, and being able to extend to an adult head size. The headband itself is rather wide which significantly helps with a comfort of wearing, and it doesn't slide off kids head. Furthermore, the headband is super flexible where it can withstand a lot of abuse without snapping in pieces. The built quality is definitely great!
I know a sound quality is not a primary requirement of these headphones, but I actually found them to sound better than I expected. Other kids headphones we owned in the past had a thin veiled sound, probably because manufacturers thought kids will not care about it. KidJamz on a contrary have a relatively clear full body sound and even some bass presence. I think it's definitely great for kids not only to experience a safe volume level and comfortable fit, but also to be able to appreciate music they are listening to. Even so the headphones are limited to 85dB level, it was still loud enough to enjoy the music or YT streaming, etc.
Overall, I was very happy I found these headphones and just wish MEElec guys would have released it sooner! We went through half a dozen of kids safe headphones in the past at twice this price, and it felt like a waste of money. KidJamz has a fantastic build quality designed specifically for kids using BPA-free non-toxic plastic, it has a very comfortable flexible headband to stay on-top of kids head without sliding down, it has a very durable cord and plenty of strain relief, and it has a very pleasant sound characteristic for a non-fatigue listening at a safe volume level. KidJamz comes in 3 vibrant colors and dirt cheap price tag of under $10. If you have little kids at home, I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't get at least a few pairs of these!!! HIGHLY recommend it!!!

Usually my review follow-ups are based on answering questions from my readers or providing updates if it has something to do with a firmware, a new accessory, etc. I don't get a chance to write "long term use" follow ups simply because I write hundreds of reviews across multiple communities and it's physically impossible to keep a track of everything. But there is one product which I get reminded about almost every day for the last 6 months, and I feel compelled to write a short follow up to my original review of Meelectronics KidJamz headphones.
It's not accidental KidJamz never came up in any of my other reviews where I usually compare products. The truth is that I haven't found anything as simple and durable at such a low price for the little ears, thus I never compared them to anything else. Now after seeing my 7 year old, day in and day out, using KidJamz in the most extreme way by throwing them on a floor, dragging them across the room, sometime even sitting on them!!! - and they still look great and sound excellent (relative to their purpose).
The durability and flexibility of the headband, the thickness of the cable with a tough shielding, the secure connection of the cable to earcup, and high quality of build material - all that keeps these headphones intact and still usable 6 months later. I can't say the same about any of our previous "kids" headphones that never survived even a few months of my sons torture.
So here you have it. If you are still looking for super durable kid friendly headphones, you don't need to spend a fortune and can get it dirt cheap when you buy these Meelec KidJamz. Still gets my high approval as a reviewer and as a parent!

Unboxing
The packaging is huge considering the type of product, but it also contains a decent amount of accessories: 3x Black Earbuds (S/M/L sizes), 3x Transparent Earbuds (S/M/L sizes) one of which is pre-applied, 1x Micro-USB Cable for Charging, 1x Airplane Audio Adapter, 1x Magnetic "thing" (don't know how to use it sincerely), 1x User Manual and 1x Booklet. Everything contained in a soft pouch.
Of course the product itself is included, but i would have appreciated a 3.5mm Splitter for PC usage since it uses one plug for both Earphones/Microphone.
As regards the build quality, i am literally impressed. First of all, the whole cable is Nylon-Braided, and doesn't feel cheap at all.
The other most important thing is that they did not choose to use any glossy surface. I am pretty sure that there are many users who prefer the shiny and smooth surface just to look better, but i prefer matte surfaces for two reasons: 1) don't get scratched so easily 2) can't be a fingerprint magnet.
Starting from the heart of the device, the Noise Cancellation hardware is contained in a small box just after the 3.5mm plug. It is rechargeable, and has a simple Power Button together with two LEDs that indicate Power/Battery Level. Also, the front part, is made of Aluminum.
Going up to the controller, excluding the standard Volume+/Play/Volume- buttons and the Microphone, there is an interesting switch declared as "BASS".
Basically, it is a switch that increases the passthrough of low frequencies to each earphone. Does it work? Sort of. I'll talk more about this in the proper paragraph.
Something i find is worth to point out is the clip, i find it really useful to keep the microphone steady (avoiding it to get muffled). It's been a long while since i have seen a clip on modern earphones, good old times...
Each earphone has a pretty weird shape, but there is a reason for that. This shape follow the inside of the ear, in order to provide the best adherence. Great to avoid interference in windy conditions, but it keeps the ear slightly hotter than usual. Still usable in Summer though, tested with 36c in-room temperature.
Sound Quality
Sound Quality is pretty balanced. All frequencies seem to be handled properly, as long as you keep the Noise Cancellation hardware turned off for some reasons mentioned below.
Thanks to the particular/weird shape of each earphone, it is possible to get a pretty clean hearing experience almost every time, but the Noise Cancellation hardware improves it with no doubts.
It doesn't mean that it is perfect though, because, the BASS switch won't produce any noticeable difference with the NC turned on, and i guess there is a reason for this limit.
In order to isolate all other sounds, it is required to reorganize all frequencies isolating those related to the noise. Probably, this process reduces low frequencies too much and, as a result, they get cut for the most part.
Personally, not being a bass lover, i don't mind at all about this since i prefer clarity rather than ear-blowing bass, but it is still useful to know for those who are the opposite.
What you get is an overall balanced sound experience, with some compromises to consider.
As regards the Microphone, it seems to work as good as on all wired earphones, nothing important to report about it.
Conclusions
Nowadays Earphones/Headphones with Active Noise Cancellation are getting more and more common, especially this year, providing something that was available only on niche products (e.g. Bose products). This is what makes the high-tech market awesome. Day by day, expensive tech get cheaper and cheaper, and then implemented in affordable consumer products.
This is what happened with the OVC H15, it features almost everything that some years ago would have been considered niche-only. But, are all those features mature enough to be implemented this way? Probably yes, even though with some limitations such as the low frequencies cut-down that might be reduced with future revisions.
So, do i recommend this product? Sure, unless you are a bass lover.
P.S.: Battery Life matches the declared ~60 hours of runtime, so there are no reasons to talk about it in a dedicated paragraph.
Pros:
- Useful Bass Switch
- Noise Cancellation
- Design and Build Quality
- No annoying glossy parts
Cons:
- Low Frequencies cut-down with NC turned-on
- Missing XS earbuds size
- Missing 3.5mm Splitter for PC usage

Unboxing
Similar to the Encore S4's packaging, also the S6 comes in a pretty premium box with some accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable (for charging), 1x 3.5mm Audio Cable (for wired connection), 1x User Manual and the Headphones (of course).
Everything is made of plastic with no glossy parts, something that i appreciate everytime, and there is enough amount of flex in the whole body to wear them in a more comfortable way.
As regards the Weight, even though 278g might seem a bit too much, the cushion helps a lot in distributing it without any headache.
Being foldable they get pretty compact when folded, but i would have appreciated to get a small case in the package where to store them.
It is possible to move each headphone hall vertically to get a more proper contact with the ear, it isn't possible to adjust the position horizontally.
Each side has a decent amount of extra centimeters that can be gained by stretching, without brutal force, the band on the lower side. The cable that goes through the band gets visible this way, positive for easy repair but slightly negative for design lovers.
On the upper side, where the headband is located, there is a soft cushion that does give a feeling of a premium product. I am noy saying that this isn't a premium product, since it isn't that cheap, but still it is something usually available only on high-end ones.
On the left there is the magical Noise Suppression (or Noise Cancellation/ANC) controller. I like the idea of having this big rubbery surface for controls (even though it gets a bit dirty) since it improved the lifetime of keys and of the internal board.
Unfortunately though the same design flaw i found on the Encore S4 is also here, where the NC switch is indipendent from the main controller. What does it mean? It means that it needs to be turned off separately.
On the right side instead there is the main controller (where probably also the battery is located), with the same rubbery surface protecting all controls, and, as you would expect, all basical keys necessary to interact with your Bluetooth Source: Volume Up/Down, Music Next/Previous and Play/Pause|Answer/Power buttons.
On the lower side where the main controller is located there is a Micro-USB connector required to charge the internal battery, a Microphone (since this can be used also for Calls without any issue) and the 3.5mm Headphone Jack, something becoming rare nowadays (iPhone users, you know what i am talking about...).
Sound Quality
Unlike what happened with the Encore S4 where the default equalizer was, in my opinion, messed up pushing low frequencies to the max and muffling a bit the others, here it is completely the opposite.
The amount of low frequencies (aka BASS) is a bit too much limited, reducing the sound's "punchiness", even though, not being a Bass lover, i prefer this, especially because it is easy to find a "Bass Boost" feature on any smartphone/tablet, while a "Treble Boost" is almost everytime inexistent.
As regards the Volume, it is pretty high, enough high to stay safe even at maximum volume without damaging your ears. Here you can see the proof, not a professional test, but at least it is better than nothing.
The Noise Cancellation feature works almost perfectly, reducing ambient sounds a lot, without any impact on sound quality. Of course it is not equal to what you can get with Bose Headphones, but it gets pretty close.
Calls and Connectivity
Featuring Bluetooth V4.1, it may not be considering as a super up-to-date product, and well this is true, because this has been released many months ago, but reached my country's store only in September 2017 (european import crap).
Excluding the version, it is perfectly enough for high-quality BT streaming. Also, it comes with APT-X support. For those who want to know more about apt-X bitrate, here is a Chinese table found online.
As already mentioned before, Calls are perfectly supported, and the quality is decent, with a sufficiently clear microphone and voice. Being a device not made primarily for calls, i don't expect more.
Battery Life and Conclusions
Battery Life matches what Tronsmart declared on the Amazon description, that is ~13 hours (BT+ANC) and ~20 hours (BT only). Personally i reach more or less 12 hours at medium volume with ANC on, so it is pretty close to the declared value considering that they do not specify the volume.
After the Encore S4, this bigger brother is definitely a step forward with better sound quality and the possibility of wired connection, something that, in my opinion, is a must even for BT earphones, in case of low battery or a connection with a device that doesn't support BT.
I am not an audiophile so do not expect the most precise feedback, but in the last few months i have been testing many audio devices so i am getting more and more experienced. I can say that these headphones are the best ones i have ever tested, and i can definitely recommend them.
Pros:
- Dual Connection (BT and Wired)
- ANC - Active Noise Cancellation
