Question Working Dolby Atmos - OnePlus 9 Pro

Hello
Has anyone managed to install full Dolby Atmos on Oneplus 9 Pro? I tried to install apk from this thread and magisk module from this link but none of them seems to work. Can't even install this module due to "read-only manifest.xml" error.

I got this working :https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/6-0-11-0-magisk-dolby-digital-plus-upd-20200519.3868192/

Good call on this particular module, I already had Ainur Sauron and Viper up and running. Thought I'd give this a shot too and all 3 working it perfect harmony (lol). Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, I couldn't believe it took. I was like, what the hell, let me try it and it worked!

How does this compare to Viper? I have only used Viper int he past and just got my OP9 Pro, so haven't added anything as of yet.

Yeah, for some reason Viper doesn't install on it's own. I used Aunir Sauron module + AML module. Rebooted. Installed the Viper app and drivers were already present. No driver install or reboot needed. Then tried the Dolby module and it installed fine as well with the other audio mods.

Is this still working for you? Which version are you using?
I just installed the latest (v.7.3 for Android 10/11) on 11.2.4.4 and it's not working for me. DDPlus app crashes repeatedly with "Remote service has stopped."

Figured it out. In case anyone else has this problem, the solution for me was to disable selinux. I added "setenforce 0" to my startup script in EX kernel manager.

Viper4Android Nougat

Has anyone tried getting Viper4Android working on Android N?
Yes, Ive been trying a couple of things this morning and finally got it working !
Btw I'm using NRD90M stock+ by tupac4u with the stock kernel
First Back up your logd by flashing this :
www.mediafire.(com)/?6i2rrgr4f5wc4ty
It will copy the logd to the root of your sdcard
www.mediafire.(com)/?9uo1j6h88x8o8z0
Flash this, this modifies your logd
Then Flash this script to make selinux permissive at reboot.
www.mediafire.(com)/?6klkabmpa5h5xbf
Thank bouchigo for making selinux permissive I Just copied his links
To install V4A I strongly suggest flashing ARISE 1.8
I did it that and it works like a charm
ARISE:
www.androidfilehost.(com)/?w=files&flid=101581
Sorry I Can't post links because I'm new here
And don't forget to install busybox
Goodluck ! It should work now atleast it did for me
There is no need to set SELinux to permissive. Check out my configuration in signature. This version of V4A should work on Nougat.

What kind of errors?
I got it working. Had to set SeLinux to permissive. Before that everything installed fine but nothing happened when I tried to do anything.

Highly recommended. I'm a long time V4A user and A.R.I.S.E just takes the cake when it comes to sound fidelity and ease of install/use. Check the link in my signature for more info and download links.

Your selinux needs to be set to permissive for Dolby to work. Flashing the mod should change that for you.
So does the actual viper4android work ? Anyone ? Do you have to set it up for systemless root ? Where the viper4android app gets added to the system apps so the drivers survive rebooting the device and stick ? I really do not want that other mod I just want the true Viper4android app to work, anyone know how to set it up ?

I believe that it installs V4A along with a couple of other mods, Dolby Atmos, Beats, etc. If you use the latest version with the Aroma installer you can select which ones you want.
isnt this ?

just install magisk module from magisk manager
worked just fine here on OxygenOS
This is the module
There are a few different Viper magisk modules...I personally only use sound mods from Ahrion and havent been disappointed. He updates them regularly as well.

All of his mods are here....AM3D Zirene doesnt work on Nougat though. Ainur Sauron sound mod, while a magisk module, cannot be added through magisk and must be flashed in TWRP. Dolby and Viper are all you need and can be downloaded through those links or through Magisk.

Viper4Android/ARISE working status on S9 8.0

Hello!
I was just wondering if Viper4Android or Arise work on the S9? I've read multiple threads of it working on the S8 on oreo but haven't seen any reports coming from s9 users .
If it does work, what rooting solution did you use? Magisk or SuperSU?
Thanks in advance, and good day!

I installed it and activated it but in Viper when I click driver status, is say it is NOT processing the sound. No settings matter. I think we need buysbox and other such mods to get it to work.. :/

The process runs only when you have music running, like a music player, Spotify etc. Viber runs good on the S9 together with the integrated Dolby Atmos.

That part I know since I have been using the sound mod with all my previous phones. However in my current case it does not process the sound that is playing trough the music player.
May I ask, what ROM are you using?

Out of curiosity, my AdAway looks way different than the one in your screenshots. Did you get your copy from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-root-nonroot-official-adaway-v5-11-0.2190753/ ?
To get it working, I enabled the systemlest host option in Magisk as shown in the red box in my screenshot, rebooted the phone, installed the AdAway apk, ran it, gave root permission, and all was good.
EDIT: Totally missed the second post
