Question QPST/PDC driver for Oneplus 9 Pro - OnePlus 9 Pro

To force enabling VoLTE and VoWiFi I used previous PDC to change modem profiles. Now I got Oneplus 9 Pro but can't find drivers for it. Any idea where can I find it? Any help would be appreciated.

Connect your device to a PC, and enable file transfer. There might be a "CD-ROM" drive now as well as your phone's storage system, that has a driver installer within.

*#801# should be able to get you in engineering mode to turn on usb modes as needed without root as usual. If that doesn't work, the old engineering mode apk should still work.
QPST will accept Qualcomm Android 9008 fine like any older device. MSL is 000000 so far for all my devices, and you should be able to get to EFS/Download/etc.
I haven't been able to get PDC to work, WWAN and Ethernet drivers of various types are not working.

Oh, my bad. That would make sense when they asked about QPST.
Dang, I haven't heard about that software in years. Last time I ever needed it was for my OG Moto Razr V3. That's STILL relevant?

Sure is, dual sim is potentially in there with device_policy.xml, but haven't had time to test more with it.

Does anyone happen to know the command to enter DIAG mode? So that I can get a com port to enter my settings using QPST or CDMA Workshop.

I looked at the store and couldn't find a quick way to do it. No phoneutil.
Anyways just purchased one, so I'll keep looking.
im still trying too, its not easy to do like most phones would be
*#*#4636#*#* pulls up testing mode if thats what you're looking for.
that doesnt help us any plus all lte phones have that, that's a given
Played around with USB tethering and thought it might bring up a modem or com port. No luck there.

My gn froze today. Before I pulled the battery I wanted to try ad reboot. When I plugged it into my PC it started loading drivers its never installed before. One driver was for a modem (not the one for USB tether). There were 2 more drivers trying to load, but I pulled the battery and don't remember their description.
If my phone freezes again I will get more details.

Theoretically, but it does not work/stick.
Edit: It didn't for me anyway.
So has anyone had any luck yet? I just got this phone and was hoping to flash it to metro but I cant get it into DIAG. I was thinking that maybe we could put phoneutils back into the system through a rom or something like that?
VIA chipset... Not Qualcomm. You'd have to use diff. software than QPST / CDMA WS as well.
Hi I am not sure about the VZW galaxy nexus Biyi definitely got into diag mode on the sprint galaxy nexus via *#*#3424#*#*, I'm the past though with Samsung devices VZW and sprint differ. The main problem I had was that once plugged into a USB port there are no appropriate VIA diag drivers.
Drivers are here: http://www.mydroidfiles.com/downloads/TBH/SamsungFlashingUtility.7z
I "restored" my VZW GNex to the sprint build with the posted CWM stock sprint files and was able to access this menu as well as *#*#3282#*#* & *#*#000000#*#* (000000 is vzw msl). I was able to load the modem drivers but I do not see a Diag device looking for drivers.
Using the SamsungPSTLite app in the above archive I was able to "see" some QPST style data but it does not look editable.
VPST is used by others to edit via chipsets. I do not have a copy of this though so am still on the hunt. Wanted to pass along what I have found so far.

Someone posted information about VPST here...

Well I poked around and found a few things with the tool, but I made the mistake and hit a write by accident and looks to have corrupted my nvram. My MEID is now blank as well as all data in settings -> about. Sadly I can no longer use the *# codes above to get back into a mode (corrupt nv??) that I can restore what I had earlier backed up So heed this as a warning and if you have any ideas to correct this please let me know. My device works fine outside of the above and no connection to a carrier..
I ODIN'ed to factory and retraced my above steps.. ultimatley flashing CWM back to the same sprint software I had backed up but still no hidden menu commnads *# other than: *#06# shows no MEID and *#*#4636#*#* pulls up its usual as it did on the default vzw build).
Anyone know how to force a dialup modem connection other that the *#diag command? or a tool to force the *# commands? Or better yet another way to restore default nv settings?
-saridnour
Did you try *#*#33284#*#* ? You need your MSL though.

Unknown Device connection to pc

All I want to do is flash back to stock, I feel like I am gonna lose my my mind or go buy a new phone. I have mostly spent a solid 10 hours of time trying to get it to work.
I have been endlessly looking, searching, trying all these different methods to get my ls980 to connect to my pc. So basically everytime I have hooked it up it comes up as unreconized or unknown device doesn't connect.
List of things: Latest LG mobile drivers I have installed them through there exe and tried to install them manually when the ! comes up on the device. I have tried my laptop and my desktop every usb in all of them. I have tried the stock cable, and about 8 other different cables. I have tried it in debugging mode with mtp and without debugging. I tried the support tool as well. Tried composite usb setting.
I guess I am at a loss at this point to what even to try besides sending it to be repaired. Which I don't feel like it's a phone problem and I am just missing something I can't find, I say this because the phone charges perfectly fine and no damage to the usb port at all. If anyone has good information or just a direction I can go will be greatly appericated.

It works just fine, only notable thing that I never figured out was why OTA updates don't ever take, it's still on ZVC. I tried the T-mobile d802 drivers as it was suggested by another post I saw on here.
And you've removed all drivers to android and lg for it.

Correct, I uninstalled them, tried new ones a couple different ways from other posts, and removed them and tried again. Right now I just have them all uninstalled. Trying to figure out if it's something that's stopping it. In error I did forget that a couple times it reconized it but would :fail to start code 10.

OK, that shouldn't be the problem. Zvc yet updates do not take.
Is it rooted?
And it is running on sprint network?

Long story short, it's on ZVC, even with other updates that came up it would never update past it. I took it into sprint several times they didn't know why, I did root it as one guy said that was an option, I used stump root, but then I unrooted as I felt I was getting into something too complicated. It is on the sprint network, about 90% of the time and all the times I tried to update previous to the root/unroot. But I am not trying to update it since the root, mostly trying to restore to stock and start overish.
I'm thinking maybe a virtual machine with Linux might find it. If it can then there is something. And maybe we can redo the partitions and such.

As for driver removal, one thing I remember with the nexus devices. There is wugfresh nrt, nexus root toolkit. Let me see which application or program they loaded for removal before reinstall of drivers. I know they have 2 places you check into.
Dang, I'll have to try to load them via a windows emulator. I'm running Linux right now.

Getting DM + Modem + ADB working 5.1.1 ok1

I've successfully unlocked my Note 4 and I'm trying to get it to work with AT&T LTE, now I am following this guide here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/enabling-additional-lte-bands-att-t-t3160864
and I have looked everywhere to try to figure out how to get DM to work on Lollipop with the sm-n910p. A lot of places say to go into recovery and select DM Logging, but that option is not there when I go into the stock recovery for OK1. Does anyone know how to get here?
Thanks!
@ssjgoku24
I'm unlocked also, and use att. And i have tried similar guides here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
And
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...ad-progress-please-leave-im-updating-t2871269
But i couldn't get it to stick. I don't know if it'll work on our device.
Before i continue I must state this is very dangerous and can hardbrick your device. I almost did myself. You have been warned!
Anyhow, use galaxy tools or idone unlock app to access hidden menu, then select 'phone util' and 'usb settings' from there. I've attached pics.
If you attempt, and get it to work please let me know. But like I already stated, this is very risky. Good luck and hope this helps.
Thanks for the info. I did already try doing that, but my computer never recognized the DM. So i was not able to use software. I'll try some more things once i get a chance, and I'll be sure to post results if in successful or not and what i did.

Oh. I just remembered, when i tried this(it was a while ago) i used Efs Pro to switch to the right usb setting. Cause if you read all of the guide i used. It states that official roms block us from changing this. I do believe i was using Cm12 on my phone. Then used efs pro to switch phone usb to diagnosis mode (or whatever it is).
Here's link http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ol-updated-09-06-14-efs-professional-t1308546
So i was on vacation and finally got around to trying some things out. First using EFS Pro i was able to get my phone to show up as a samsung communication port in device manager. I am not sure if that is correct since in QPST it didn't show up as a diag port, i had to manually add it as COM4 (5 was also there and tested). I was able to see my phone but when i did a software download, it said the system was busy and if i hit "switch to" it would open the start menu, then pop backup. Doing this 3 times would then atart the download. Once the download hit 12% it would error out stating like "could not communicate in diag mode." This leads me to believe the phone is not actually getting set to diag mode. I have also tried to read the phone with another tool in QPST, but it always fails to read.
I tried double checking the settings using *#0808# and making sure dm + modem + adb was activated which it was. I also tried RDNIS + DM + Modem which resulted in the COM port changing to 8 & 9 but gave the same results.
When you tried QPST did you recieve these errors?
Note - I used the stock rooted ok1 rom , firmware, and baseband. I tried pd1 stock rooted rom, firmware, and baseband as well.
I was also using this in a windows 10 vm and tried on a windows 7 vm, since I have a Mac running osx.

USB options not appearing after charging with oneplus charger

Hello all !
I charged my nextbit robin with a oneplus charger with its oneplus cable. The issue is that i am not able to access my phone via PC after that. I have tried different PC but with no luck.
When i connect the nextbit cable to pc the phone just charges and shows "Charging on AC". On searching the xda i came across a similiar problem but with a LG phone :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/usb-connection-phone-detected-pc-t3291549
I dont know how to implement the suggested solution in nextbit ie. to enable port test check.
Can someone help me with this issue? I am running stock android and the service menu is not appearing. Now i can't even root it. I am confused, please help.:crying:
Did you try both ways on the USB-C side? I have had issues with that, seems like only one way works.

Yes, I have tried plugging it both ways, still no luck .
Is there any way that i can root my phone now?
There are other way to root it, but I would say to fix this issue before proceeding, so that you can flash back to stock if needed

DM-verity is a non issue with MTP/fastboot/adb. It's usually related to the USB cable or port itself, or a driver issue (fastboot/adb or device).
When you connect and toggle the USB setting to MTP, toggle it to charge only then to MTP again. I've noticed in the past that it takes longer for the PC to recognize or it requires a second try.
