- Notch city is back hell yea! You can choose between 3 modes:
* normal (nothing special, you'll still see that huge notch)
* immerse (the status bar will get black, the corners will go under the status bar and you'll get the icons in the same old position)
* hide (funky mode, the status bar gets moved below the notch, so you get to see every single icon and the corners get below notch too)
- Network traffic has been added, and unlike the pie one, this one gets shown on status bar and it's really cool, trust me.
- For the folks that don't use the awesome notch city (smh my head), now you can get some extra space by enabling the old network indicator, getting the net type merged with the signal indicator.
- You can customize QS a little more; the qs tiles, you can modify the amount of rowd and columns or by just disabling the tile titles.
- Some qs tiles are getting a cool panel when you hold them. Can you guess which ones have this behaviour?
- OTAs are now installing correctly again starting this build, about time!
- Decide whether you wanna see the privacy indicators on status bar or you wanna hide them for the notch free real estate.
- General improvements to make your life easier.
This is a cool update (as usual) but you wanna prepare psychologically for the next ones because ****'s gonna get epic!
- We finally fixed the nasty QS color bug. No more unusable QS if you don't set a custom QS color!
- A lot more bugs have now been squashed, so it's easy for you to stay sanitized hahayes
- Who wants to wait for Android R? We've included the Android R inspired screenrecord redesign!
- You can now see all your notification history in Settings. Don't hesitate to swipe that pesky notification away
- Dialer is FINALLY dark. LMAO my aligot off.
- QS panel tiles are better af, and less janky. Tap away!
- Data usage display on mobile data QS panel tile finally works too! Tracking your usage has never been easier.

I don't imagine you need to flash the stock rom for the device first. In any case, make a backup of your device's boot, vendor, system and data partitions before flashing this, just in case.

You're right. A lot of devs (particularly the Havoc OS guy) have given up on this device. Devs who continue developing and maintaining ROMs for this device have to be on another level, bro.

Thank you very much for the custom rom I tried this the latest version is v5.1.3 ysl in the website I compared this to pixel plus ui but this dotos is so much better battery is better and no errors when running the os and so much customizations you can tweak and clean too if you are looking for a great custom rom for redmi s2 this one is the pick

I can not delete finger print or face data for some reason. That said, it's the best ROM I tried on my S2. Thank you very much for putting an effort on the ROM!

When DotOS 5.2 Version?

Using DotOS version 5.2 for ysl its great smooth only bug i found is the charging led light notification wont shut off when battery full charge 100% same for other custom roms I tried still on when battery is 100%

u have to patch the boot img with Magisk 22.1... then flash it

What is the recommended gapps package?

I want to know something....that my realme 3 has model number 1825......but here all the ROMs are based for 1821......so it's the same for realme 3???

I have RMX1825. I tried Corvus, Lineage, PixelPlusUI and DotOS given in this forum(Oppo Realme 3). Everything works fine except fingerprint on Corvus. I'm currently using DotOs. I found this better than other three.
