hi folks. my stupidity has brought me a week full of sleepless nights.
i rooted my m8 a few months back and all was well untill i realised i couldnt get the otas . so i unrooted my device via supersu. then i tried to flash a stock rom but the file could not be found in twrp. i did wipe and ever since im stuck on d logo. i have tried a lot of things but nothing seems to work. im dieing for help.

Are you s-off? Unlocked boot loader?

If you can enter fastboot, flash latest twrp recovery, nuke everything and sideload a rom/put a rom in external sd and flash from there... Should work...

i am s-on and yes my bootloader is unlocked.

thanks!! i'm a noob,. tell me, can i update and flash an updated twrp and rom without root and with my phone stuck on d logo screen??

Hold down the power button and the vol. up button for 20 seconds or so.
As soon as it goes dead, switch from vol. up to vol. down.
Fastboot is where you are now.

hi! well, to flash recovery it's plenty of tutorial around, and you can look on twrp official site too... to delete everything, just select full wipe in recovery and to sideload follow this guide http://teamw.in/ADBSideload

(minus your Serial no and IMEI)
this is the basic instructions
Unlock the bootloader at HTCDEV
then from fastboot USB
Flash recovery TWRP 2.8.1.0

fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then sideload this Rom to your phone

TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload Renovate_4.5.0.zip
make sure the rom is in the same folder as adb / fastboot
Hi, I'm just beginner in android rooting.
While following the way to downgrade my v.5.1.1 A5CNB19 to v.5.0.2, n1 become bricked. I can't boot in recovery mode. The reason that I assume to be is flashing FM recovery.img. I tried to work on adb and fastboot but nothing works.
Please help me to unbrick it. If u have stock rom or recovery.img for A5CNB19, please share it.

i don't see bootloader. Bootlader is gone. old boot.img not working correctly.
Can you describe what you have? What happening when turn on using power+volume up combination?

boot image error and opening recovery mode. That's it.
Can you open recovery menu (press and hold Power and then press Vol up) ?

Download and unpack/unzip the file in my link below, if all goes good you get a file named: recovery.img after that:

Try to boot into fastboot (power button+volume down) and open up a command prompt, and navigate to the map where you downloaded my recovery, and typ in: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

My one plus 3 was running with CM14.1, I tried to update it today and my phone turn itself off and wont turn on anymore..
When I try to turn on the phone I can choose to Power off\Restart\Recovery\Fastboot...
I am trying to get to recovery mode but it just showing me the one plus logo for 10 sec and shutting down..
restart and normal boot doing the same..
Anyone can help me?

Are you able to go into fastboot mode ?

used methos 2 and all works now.
Hello, after flashing firmware img in twrp it go back to stock and now i Can't Access Ramdisk Recovery twrp anymore ..
It always boot into stock recovery ..
Help please !
PS : Phone Bricked, Bootloader & Frp unlocked

What firmware.img did you flash?
Haha yea but at this point i can't do anything ..
I have flashed img files for bnd-l21 (System.img, Vendor.img, Kernel.img etc) in twrp , after that bootloop on "your device can't be trusted" screen, i can access the stock recovery but i can't access twrp ramdisk recovery, the flash process of ramdisk recovey via fastboot is okay but when i try to enter via volume up & power button it didn't work anymore ..

Volme up and volume down plus power if you have usb connected from fastboot.

Yess.. before flashing vendor ramdisk system etc in twrp all was good but now stock recovey & fastboot only, i can flash via fastboot succefully but it won't boot in twrp ramdisk recovery..

Yess i can flash system.img with succes and the recovery_ramdisk too but just after the "your device can't be trusted" screen it restart by itself ... bootloop..
I also noticed that the phone turns on twice, the start"HONOR" screen appears once with the vibration, goes out, then restart a second time on the same screen with vibration.. strange

I have tried too same problem..
I've tried everything possible but nothing happen, just stock recovery erecovery & fastboot with unlocked bootloader and frp unlocked too ..

it seems like the ramdisk_recovery partition is corrupted or missing i dont know why that's really strange cause just before that i was able to flash and enter twrp ramdisk whenever i wanted ..

Yes sir i just tried this now & it won't boot into twrp complete flashed in ramdisk_recovery via fastboot..

yes and when it resart i unplug the usb cable and press volume up button for enter twrp jsut after flashing but it boot into stock recovery..
i have also tried to unbrick with the huawei multi tool v8 , all flashs ended with success but after restart the phone won't boot too ..

What is the kernel img file ?
Is this the kernel img file in the update.app file ?
EDIT : Thank you so much for help !! i have flashed stock kernel via fastboot and now my phone is alive ! So it appears i have flashed a wrong recovery, thank youuu!

Nice you got it..sweet yeah original kernel helped me out a few times to.

The pc doesnt recognize The phone anything when I try to connect it through fastboot mode the phone just bootloop and turn off again

No my friend I can't but at least I know what I did wrong flash a rom for ginko instead of willow so there's no way to fix it than using EDL Mode( I dont have the cable) or taking to service center
