Any way to recover an Asus Zenfone 2 past a password? - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an old Zenfone 2 (AT&T default) that has a password on it. I forgot the password (obviously), but there are a bunch of old texts and pics that I'd like to backup. The phone was not unlocked, it was the default operating system. I know you can hard reset the phone back to factory default, but I'd love to keep the texts. Is there any software or methods that can be used to bypass or remove the password?

[Q] Phone Flashed to Page Plus Stuck on Boot Screen

Hello all,
I tried searching for a similar scenario but wasn't able to find anything so I thought I'd try posting here.
I purchased a flashed Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 from ebay about 6 months ago. I'm assuming the phone is rooted, I had my number flashed with page plus service to the S3 without problem and it has worked fine since then. Apart from the initial flash to page plus by the ebay vendor I've used the phone daily without flashing anything else, just using apps from the store and basic daily functions like email, social media and camera use. Today while using the phone it randomly shut off. When starting up the phone again it gets stuck on the "Samsung" logo, it does not reboot either.
I know that a hard reset can fix this issue but the problem is I believe a hard reset might break the page plus flash and I'm afraid of losing the number I have on this phone. Has anyone experienced this problem with a phone flashed to page plus and has successfully fixed this? Or will I just have to buy a new phone to flash my page plus number to?
Write down your flashed page plus number to external paper and after hard reset flash it again using dfs software.
Or if you don't want to hard reset... Flash the tar file via Odin to repair the stuck boot then root it.
But i recommend to flash a new rooted ROM from recovery after wiping data/factory reset.. It will not wiping your flashed status.

update
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I don't really flash on my own and didn't quite want to experiment just yet.
What I ended up doing was esn swapping the page Plus number I was using from the Sprint s3 to an htc rhyme that was also activated on page Plus in a hope of salavging my #. I then went ahead and factory reset the s3 and that fixed the stuck on boot problem.
My question is now this, would it be possible to esn swap the number back to the s3 and have it function on page plus once again. from what I can tell in the settings it still has the 65002 prl I believe is uses to flashthis model and my orginal phone number still appears in the s3 device settings (and 3g username aferrad) despite my swapping the number to the rhyme.
I would be happy to provide addtl info and appreciate any help you can offer.

How to bypass the Note 7 FRP Lock

Yes i know we should return the note 7 but i sold mine to my buddy who i told him about everything going on with ect ect , So he told me he was on facebook when all of a sudden his Note 7 did a factory reset well when it reset and it turned back on it was asking for the google account that was used to get back into the phone . Well he tryed his email did not work asked me to try mine and it did not work so i google the issue came across Root Junkies method and i got errors typing in them commands .
So i am asking is there a way to get rid of FRP lock or bypass it ? I have tryed reflashing a Stock rom through Odin but it fails
You can try different gmails that were on the phone before the reset.
All of a sudden factory reset sounds weird. That usually only happens to floor models in a mobile store.

Note 4 Reactivation lock - Process failed, after Odin back to N910VVRS2CQE1 - 6.0.1

It's not a password problem if it was it would say invalid ID or password. It goes through the process of signing in then it says Process failed.
findmymobile.samsung.com is able to RING MY DEVICE but I an unable to get past "This phone has been locked because of an abnormal factory reset. Sign in to the Samsung account that was previously used on this phone." Is there any hope for this phone? Knox is tripped because the phone had previously been rooted.
problem solved
I Odin back to 5.0.1-N910VVRU2BPA1 and was able to sign in to remove Reactivation lock then I upgraded to 6.0.1-N910VVRU2CQF2. The ROMs I use came from SamMobile

Reactivation lock, need samsung account - solved
I ran into this "This phone is locked because of an abnormal factory reset. Sign in to he Samsung account that was previously used on this phone to confirm that it belongs to you." error and found that on putting bad username/credentials in 5x in a row, Samsung mailed a password reset message to the google account initially used when the phone was new (there never was a "samsung" account). In our case it was a forgotten seldom-used years old email, but the message forwarded to the current address, the password was changed and we were on our way.
The stupidest thing was I did a Samsung tech support call, dropped the phone off at their factory service center to have this fixed, had them return it as not fixable, and they never mentioned this rather simple solutions. Works fine if the phone is really yours or you can contact it's original owner.
Then I decided to update marshmallow and ran into the next problem and now it's busted again .... oh well.

Samsung Galaxy S9 : Forgot PIN and unable to boot into phone

Team, I have forgotten my PIN and have tried multiple times without any luck. I only have 4 more attempts before factory reset will be done by default and I want to avoid this and do not want to lose my data.
Please can anyone share steps to bypass this PIN entry. Samsung find my mobile is also not able to track and unlock my phone since it is not connected to the network.

Question note 8T pcsuite.mi

My note 8T recently updated its firmware to 12.5 or higher (don't even know, last I looked I was on 12) and now I cannot get passed the lockscreen. I never have set a password, but a 7 digit pin code and fingerprint scan... since the update it's asking for a password and I don't know what it is as I never set one. I've tried my gmail account password etc and still no access.
I had hoped to access the phone via pcsuite.mi, do a backup and reset the phone.. but it seems the phone is not being picked up.
Anyone else had this issue? how did you solve it?
If anyone has a link to a pcsuite.mi that works on note 8T it would be appreciated.
Thanks
