Can't get "OEM Unlock" menu
I just got an A50. I tried the date-change trick that was described elsewhere, but I still can't get the OEM Unlock menu to appear. Do I need to just wait 7 days?

But it does work only for some A50 variants, not for all.

I'm guessing not, but will there be any chance of development on the A505U?

I'm guessing that there's not and probably won't be any development on the A505-U, the Verizon variant of this phone? It's been a while but I'm guessing Verizon is still locking bootloaders and making it impossible...

I would assume so, as there is no oem unlock option on the phone.

How to unlock bootloader?

How to unlock bootloader in nokia 6.1 2018 with the latest security patch update (august)?
It's illegal to XDA mods for me to post the link, but if you search techmesto bootloader unlock and downgrade for Nokia should get the info u need.
Try this
1. Turn off developer option
2. Choose cancel
3. Enable oem unlock
Enabled but greyed option.. try if bootloader is unlock..see attachement

It's in dev options. Tap build number in settings like 7 or 9 times i forget how many.

What model A50 do you have?
If it's the A505U, it cannot be OEM unlocked.

Settings -> about phone -> software information -> tap 7 times on build number. It will unlock the developer options (the last menu on settings), after that search for OEM unlocking. it works on A505FN, i don't know if it works in all variants.

According to your device it shows oem unlock l. Which means locked. This device looks to have Knox guard mdm service. Looks to be leased. It is permanently locked until removed from Knox mdm server.

His isn't that issue. Look at his download mode info. Bootloader l. Which means locked. Any that can be unlocked display a u I believe. I had this issue on another device. It's all caused by Knox guard and buying subsidized device

Hey, did you solved it? bought SM-G986B with same problem - OEM on (L)
Hey brother have you solved that issue ? I've the same problem too, no OEM unlock option.
Hey,
It will depend on your baseband version if you have a snapdragon S20/S20+/S20U. See the thread below about how it can be done and what baseband/bootloader is required to unlock.

Rmm state prenormal fix

Old solution didn't work for me. Does anyone know how to fix it in 2023?

What was the "old" solution?
Try this:
Boot into system, skip through the setup, connect to WiFi. Go to system settings, enable developer options. OEM Unlocking will not be visible. Force an update check, then go back and check to see if OEM Unlocking became visible. If it has, KG/RMM state should be OK or COMPLETED, and you should be able to flash custom firmware.

Did you try to wait 168 hours?
yes, I tried to wait for months and not only the 168 hrs however nothing seems to be working and it's kinda really frustrating
and all tools not working (like chimera, magic crack or whatever they don't work)
I only wanna flash a custom from (one of my rights as an android user (phone is s9+ exynos )
so please if you know any way I can get this done I'd be really grateful
