PX6 720p screen reduce display area - MTCD Android Head Units General

Is there any settings to reduce/move display area? In my unit few column are overlapped by black frame. They are visible only when I look under small angle

Is my screen bad?

When I put an all-black image on the screen (e.g., using LCD Test), while I am in a dark room, I see a faint gray glow from most of the screen, but there are also irregularly shaped areas of the screen that are blacker and don't glow as much. This is annoying when using the device at low screen intensity in the dark (with my ScreenDim app, for instance), or when using an astronomy app as I was tonight.
Do other people see the same irregularity?
I prefer the darker areas. There shouldn't be any gray glow where there are no bright pixels.
Another thing I noticed is that if I turn the intensity way down (with ScreenDim's contrast setting--Screen Filter should work the same way), and I mentally divide the portrait screen into thirds with vertical lines, then the middle third is a bit pinkish. Is that normal?

[Q] Extra-bright bottom row of pixels?

The bottom row of pixels on my screen, when lit, are significantly brighter than the rest of the display. It's only noticeable when the background behind the back/home/app-switcher buttons is transparent or they are completely hidden.
Is/was this a common issue? I don't see this sort of problem mentioned in the other display issues thread(s).
Is there anything I can do at this point about this?

Is it possible to cast/screen mirror only part of the screen?

I have a N7(running marshmallow) setup to do screen mirroring to a TV for displaying documents in a conference room. But the N7's ratio causes wasted TV real estate because of black bars on the sides, nav bar on the bottom and status bar at the top.
In my current solution I've resized the display to 1920x1080 and changed the density so everything looks right. I've also removed the nav bar and am using pie controls. This causes a couple problems though, any action that requires a swipe down/up from the edge of the screen doesn't work(unless you are very precise with where you start your swipe), and some of my users are struggling with pie controls(they'll eventually get used to it, I think). But...
The perfect solution would be if I could have it cast only the 1920x1080 portion of the screen which would eliminate the black bars and most of the nav bar from showing on the tv. Is there anyway to modify the screen area that is being cast?
If not is there at least a fix for the swipe up/down when the display is smaller than the physical screen?

Sharp panel dirty screen effect smudges on greys

Hello guys.
Install dead pixel test from play store and navigate to the grey screen by tapping or.
Open a full grey background on Google.
Go max brightness. Do you see a lot of smudges / dirty screen effect blotches? Or is it just my screen. They would look like darker spots on the grays. I have a lot of them of arbitrary size. More than any other lcd panel I owned.
Thanks

Screen extension YT

I noticed today the drawback of expanding the YT image to the entire screen (gesture with two fingers).Well, horizontally widening results in vertical truncation
it is perfectly visible on such material, where at the bottom or top of the movie there are data, subtitles, eg here: https://youtu.be/M9sd3spUo_g

Click to collapse
That’s normal on all non 16:9 devices playing 16:9 material.
The video gets just zoomed in. If you would align it to fill up the screen without loosing anything the video gets distorted.
Only a 18:9 video will work without cutting anything of and showing no black borders.
