My problem was fixed with a reboot, so I don't know any advanced solutions except than reflashing MIUI itself. So that's what I recommend

It looks like you flashed a ROM for the t805 not the t705.
First let's get you back to stock.
Download the firmware for your device from the link below.
Follow the instructions to install it. This will get you up and running again.

E: unknown volume for path {/sbfs}
E: unknown volume "/sbfs"[/U][/U]
Data wipe complete.
I thought it may be battery related but I have changed to a genuine new battery. still same issue

Flashing baseband via TWRP usually locks the bootloader and bricks the device..... I would recommend flashing the Baseband via Fastboot... Here's a good guide for that...Flash Baseband via Fastboot
Edit:
Baseband 1.76
Flash this zip with TWRP it won't lock your Bootloader.

Same thing happened to me. Just do the following and you will be back to normal but with baseband 1.76.
1. Unplug your phone from the computer.
2. Press and hold the POWER button until your phone restarting 3-5 times.
3. After the 3rd times (or more), you will see the notification LED goes off in the middle of boot process, and at that time, quick press VOLUME + button and release the POWER button but keep the VOLUME + button pressed.
4. Your phone will be at POWER OFF status.
5. After your phone is completely off, press and hold the VOLUME +, then press POWER button and connect your USB at the same time.
The phone will be in bootloader mode and you will see that you have locked bootloader. Use the image received from lenovo on email to unlock
After unlocking the bootloader it will boot normally and your data will be safe.
The only tricky part is to switch off the phone. Patiently do it.

Maybe your phone may not have charge. Plug in the charger for about one hour. Afterwards do the above. You may have to do it multiple times to power off your phone. Once it it is powered off rest is easy
Hey Community,
Im new here and got a big problem with my s9.
I rooted it today with magisk, just recovered my backup.
Then i noticed that always when the phone is looking to locked screen it just crash and i cant start it (only with Volume up + Bixby + Power Button and then there choose the reboot function)
Would be great if someone know the reason why this happens.
Regards
bump
Probably something to do with restoring your backup
No talk about lucky patcher on XDA as it is classed as Warez

You rooted your phone without knowing how to flash stock back?
Download the stock firmware, extract it, add all 4 sections to ODIN 3.13.1, do not use HOME_CSC, use CSC instead, put phone in download mode, flash

Have you found a Fix to this? What software did you use for rooting? Did you install a custom recovery?
For me this exact thing happens with TWRP and magisk. On the TWRP Thread jesec pointed out that rooting without flashing a custom kernel will most likely cause issues.
Was hoping you may have found a solution

Just flash ROM and gapps and don't flash firmware while flashing custom ROM
While flashing stock MIUI ROM use fastboot ROM to flash and there won't be any chances of brick. MiFlash software checks bootloader index before flashing a ROM so it is safer way

It does it instantly if you have already unlocked it but normally it's 168 hours now maybe on older phones it's instantaneous.
You did it?
installed the rom version requested by the OP of the AOSP rom that way you won't need to flash the firmware.
It was surely never unlocked , must be cause it's an old device as you say.
AOSP ROM says Oreo which the device has but no luck with TWRP though, fastboot flash recovery comes up with FAILED (remote: Anti-rollback check failed) .
Even tried to boot twrp with fastboot boot but that gets me stuck at MI logo.
Think I'll try putting in newer firmware tomorrow and see what happens.
edit: It worked with newer firmware flawlessly , probably I had wrong TWRP version that did't work with Oreo ARB version. Thanks for your input
