Persist.img is unique per phone as it contains IMEI number. Thus, nobody will share his or her persist.img with you. If you can't restore your persist.img by using msmtool or twrp backup, then you're out of luck

could anybody post DTS.img, fw_hifi.img, sensorhub.img from a BND-AL10 indian version

Display is blank after flashing these images from chinese rom via TWRP on to respective partitions.
DTS.img
fw_hifi.img
sensorhub.img
Fastboot is the onlything working. So if someone could post the img files from Indian ROM, BND-AL10C675 , I could flash via Fastboot and hopefully getback the display. Thanks in advance! :crying:

Thanks for your reply. Today I took it to service center, they had to replace the Motherboard and now everything is fine.
For those experimenting with other variant firmware, please do not do it. Never knew it could even damage the main board.

[SUSPEND] VOLTE fix for those who had lost after flashing stock(DON'T FOLLOW THIS)

EDIT
I HAVE DELETE THIS THREAD BECAUSE BY USING THIS METHOD PEOPLE MAY LOOSE THEIR IMEI if they don't have any efs backup ,
People apply this METHOD who has no IMEI Surely this method was only for those who already had efs backup ,
but now people thinks that it may bring IMEI,,which is not the proper way for restoring imei.
So to stop this misconception i am deleting all files and SUSPEND this thread.

MAY BE YES,YOU CAN,BUT TAKE BACKUP OF ALL PARTITION BEFORE TRY.
this persist backup is from moto g4 plus and it is working for moto g5 plus so may be it should work for g5s plus too.
but remember i am not responsible for anything if it goes wrong( but it better to take risk when nothing works )
my gut says,it should work,so if you want ,then give it a shot.
ok will try that in the evening
Which ROM have you tried? Its not working in DotOS. Please help!

hey guys good news for you all,
i have found the solution for volte.
download persist backup from attachment(this backup is from moto g4 plus,i had restore it on my moto g5 plus and i got volte )
1)Flash stock rom with twrp or with fastboot, both will going to work.
2)Now you have to put this backup in twrp backup folder.
3)after this first you have to restore your own efs backup.
4)then restore this persist backup.
remember"do at your own risk",i am not responsible for anything if it goes wrong
this method is working for me so i am telling you all,and before do this please take your whole phone backup including every partition.
this can also be done if some one can provide our moto g5 plus persist backup,so if anyone has working volte then provide us moto g5 plus persist backup from twrp, then it is also usefull for all of us,THANK YOU

Unzip that persist file,
Put that file in your efs backup folder ,
After boot in twrp and go to restore,
Then in restore restore your efs ,you will see persist will also there ,so restore that persist after restoring efs.
In other words ,
#Unzip persist
#Open your efs backup folder of twrp in file manager
#Paste persist file in efs backup folder
#now boot in to twrp
#restore that efs ,in efs you will see efs and persist both will be there,
#so first restore efs then persist
See my attachment (how to put that file in twrp)
can someone please give a step by step guide of this method. I haven't tried anything like this so pls help me. I am on stock rom and bootloader locked. I really want to get my volte.

Backup the entire phone via fastboot to the PC?!

Hello out there.
I just wanted to know if there is any way to backup the entire phone to my computer?
Just because I bought this phone for modding, I'm waiting atm for Xiaomi for unlocking my phone's BL.
I downloaded yet an non-ARB Rom for this phone which is a *.tgz zip which I yet don't know how to flash in case I need it (got the MiFlash but I dont know how to make it work).
Would be great to get some hints.
Thank you.

I found out that I had to "unzip" the tgz file for Mi Flash tool to find the data inside.

Try editing the arb file lines as per this guide
But, it's possible you can only flash in edl mode using paid for access or send it to service center and pay... is it under warranty? you could deny all knowledge seeing as the bootloader is locked and get it repaired under warranty, as a long shot

Put rom folder in a small path like D:\\rom_folder\
avoid having spaces in the path
try the flashing
if it doesnt work
open the flash all.bat file in notepad and delete the whole paragraph under anti rollback, save and flash
to open in notepad, right click on it and click edit
Installing a Offical MIUI rom and using MIflash has always been a pain for me as i kept getting install errors,
if your struggling with errors as i was then you could always try this method that i found on another XDA thread,
The work around was to copy over the "Fastboot Flashing Process" from within the Miflash folder,
I have the EEA version of the F3, but this should work on any version as long as your using the CORRECT FIRMWARE for your phone,
Using this method, You Don`t Need To Use MIFLASH,
If you have Fastboot working correctly then this method should work,
Download and unzip the correct FASTBOOT firmware for your Device and ideally, save it to your C: drive,
Download, unzip and copy the "No MIFLASH FIX" into your unzipped firmware folder,
REMBER TO DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT FIRMWARE FOR YOUR DEVICE
OTHER WISE THIS COULD BRICK YOUR PHONE
When ready I would suggest to use, "flash_all (Clean Flash).bat",
i have attached a screen shot of my EEA Firmware folder with the fix added,
I hope you sort it.

Hi,
As my my post , i would use "flash_all (Clean Flash).bat"
1. Download and unzip your correct (FASTBOOT) firmware,
2. Download and unzip "No MIFLASH FIX" and copy the files into your unzipped Firmware folder.
3. Rename your firmware folder using less characters say: "K40-FASTBOOT-FIRMWARE"
with no gaps between the letters and move the folder to your C: drive, D: drive ect.
4. Boot your K40 into Fastboot mode and navigate to the renamed firmware folder.
5. Run the file: flash_all (Clean Flash).bat
This is how i do it for my Poco F3,
I have attached a picture of my EEA Fastboot firmware with the fix applied,
I hope you sort it.
@johnr64 you are giving bad advise. kindly read post #1. bootloader is locked, fastboot flash not allowed in locked state. device is bricked and can only flashed in EDL mode, because bootloader unlocking is not possible on bricked devices. so unless someone provides working no auth firehose this devices is bricked.
