Hello
I tried modifying the logo.bin png files to customize the boot logo. I used LOGO BUILDER v 1.6 to extract the 60 png images. I checked the header and logo.bin file (same header), I resized the pngs to have crisp png. But, number 37 is a distorted 16x19 image (not possible to have a sharp image). Even extracting the logo.bin, then recompiling it (without modification) with LOGO BUILDER and flashing it with fastboot or with SP Flash tool: unable to start the device. Anyone have an idea to modify the logo.bin file and flash it to customize the note 8 pro?
Thank you.

Hi to all...
I have found that changing bootlogo has 3 ways:
1)param.bin
2)initlogo,logo.bin
3)model.rle at /
Our Gio has the bootlogo in /GIO.rle so to edit it, you have to extract boot.img of your favorite rom by android image kitchen and replace it by micro fire tool and repack it and then flash it via recovery. Please note that flashing boot image via apps will not affect.
I have made some Boot Logos for Motorola phones and would like to share them with the community.
Although the project was initially for Moto G5 Plus (Potter), I have made all versions with the text motorola on the boot images.
Features :
N/A hidden
Redesigned bootloader menu
Some other minor changes in boot logo images
These Boot Logos can also be flashed to other Motorola Devices with 1080X1920 screen resolution like:
Moto G4
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G5
Moto G5s
Moto G5s Plus
Moto X4
Moto Z2 Play
Other Motorola phone users may use the version of the boot logo with motorola written on the image instead of moto g5 plus.
Use VX.0_BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for Moto G5 Plus.
Use VX.1_BL_9-3_by_4 Zip for other Motorola devices.
The file names with DT at the end stand for Boot Logos suited for Dark Theme.
All Boot Logos have been posted on SOURCEFORGE and more would be added in the coming future. The designs have been separated into two folders and further organized inside each folder by version numbers starting with V1. All the zips are functionally the same and you can flash whichever version you like. The only difference is in the text shown on the Boot Logo image. Head down for viewing previews and downloading the boot logos.
How to Install (via Custom Recovery)

Hi everyone!
I need to edit an APK in stock ROM (system.img) of my device. I have unpacked system.img and repacked with some programs on Windows. But When I unpack and repack the system.img file and change it with original system.img file (even though I didn't change any APK or anything), I can flash it through fastboot or port 9008 successfully. BUT When I try to start my phone, It stuck on MI Logo screen.
So There is no problem with flash any rom. But I want to unpack rom and edit an APK then repack it. This is my issue. How can I do it? I think there is a problem on unpack/repack step. I'll be glad if anyone can help me about it.
Thanks in advance!
p.s. I can't flash a recovery rom because of I can't run phone.
This is the Stock Splash Boot Screen of Redmi Note 7(lavender),
You can flash this via a custom recovery,
Might help if you have installed a custom splash and want to get stock splash screen back.

If you want to flash via fastboot then just extract the upper file and in the extracted folder you will find "splash.img" this is the splash image you can flash it by the command;
fastboot flash splash <the file>
