There is Sixaxis https://market.android.com/details?...udios.sixaxiscontroller&feature=search_result
And their compatibility testing tool .. https://market.android.com/details?...xiscompatibilitychecker&feature=search_result
You're right. Bluez IME doesn't support PS3 controllers (they're working on it I hear) so what you will have to do is bind every button on the PS3 controller to a hardware key. This is going to be annoying, but you'll only have to do it one time.
Open up the Sixaxis App, then press the start button to open the bluetooth connection. Once the connection is listening, press the PS button on your controller. The app should tell you that there's one client connected. Press the menu button on the phone (far left, looks like a paper I guess) then go to preferences. Press the box that says bypass IME, then select input mappings. You can then select which controller you are mapping then for each button, assign it a letter on the key board (like left = a, right =b, etc). After you're done, open up n64oid, go to settings, then input settings. Press key mappings and press they key mappings button for the controller you want. Then just go through and bind all your keys like normal.
Tyvm thats exactly what I did, works like a charm ! playing mario kart 3 players battles on our 60" tv eheh portable consoles ftw !
How do you bind the keys like normal at the end. When I am in n64oid i click on key mapping and d-pad left it says press a key

You first map the keys to the controller, so it simulates keyboard input, then in n64noid when it asks you to press a key you hit the appropriate button on the controller ... (of course you have to have it paired and working at the time)
Ok in sixaxis app i mapped each button with letters a-z
And it said client one connected
So i went to n64oid and to settings and input settings and clicked left for example, so it said hit key, so i hit left dpad on ps3 controller and nothing, its like its not detecting me pressing the button on my ps3 controller, why is this?

You have to go to input settings, and change it to sixaxis controller instead of keyboard, under normal android settings ...

followed your directions still nothing :/
Once paired, unplug the USB cable and press the power button on the controller. If successful, the lights on the controller will stop blinking and a single light will remain on.
My controller pairs, i even downloaded the comaptibility checker and my controller and phone passed the test, but all the lights blink on my controller but when that is finished they all go off instead of one which is supposed to stay on.

Sixaxis and Connecting PS3 Controller
Hello there,
This is my first post ever. (fyi)
Any ways... You need to use the sixaxis pair tool on your PC to ultimately connect the controller to your phone.
The reason:
When a controller (PS3 Spec.) connects to a console, the console exchanges its (Bluetooth in this case) MAC address with the controller to create a solid connection between the host and the periphal device.
The solution:
Sixaxis pair tool will allow you to manually manipulate this MAC address reservation through use of a USB B cable, a PC using the software, and finally a PS3 controller...
Once the software is launched simply type the number from the bottom of the sixaxis application (Android) into the sixaxis pair tool (PC) and click update...
Finally:
Restart your sixaxis application (Android)
Once restarted, click the start button...
Wait until it says listening for controllers...
Turn on PS3 controller.
VOILA!
Hope this helps I had some problems getting it to work as well...

OTG + xbox 360 controller - How can I make the D-Pad work?

I connected my OTG cable to the xbox 360 controller and plug the other end of the OTG cable to my Nexus 7. Most buttons like the left stick, buttons work, however I can't get the D-Pad work.

I too have been wondering this as I love using my xbox controller on my nexus 7 but emulation leaves a bit to be desired if I can't use the d-pad to play old console games...
Depending on what game you play you go to controller in settings where you will see a list of actions. You tap on an action like for instance to fire a wepon then you tap the button on your controller to program it to fire when you hit it. Most first person shooters have that option. Sixaxis with a ps3 controller is what I do. Gameloft games work well with sixaxis but madfinger can be a little tricky to set up.
Keymapper
Use Tincore Keymapper to remap every button you wanted on any game or application you like. Works like charm for me.

Cannot get Retroarch and Xbox360 controller to work

I have tried many build of Retroarch and could not get the XBOX360 controller to work. I have read many posts people got this to work but I cannot replicate this.
The controler works ok outside in the menu and allow me to select the game. Once the game starts, I could only use Start button which brings up the RGUI and Back button which goes back to the Retroarch menu.
Anyone can give me any tips?
Also I am using the XBOX wireless dongle. If I leave this plug in, the Amazon Fire TV will start in Safe Mode. No idea
In the Retroarch input settings, if you disable auto detect you can scroll way down and enter custom mappings into controller 1. The left joystick was detected as dpad but only the dpad works for me in game.
I'm just going to copy and paste the post I just made and what I did to fix it.
I have tired the controller with Sev Zero and Deus Ex. I have also tried an Xbox 360 controller. They work in the Fire TV menu, but not in any of the games. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? The only thing I can think of is that somehow the buttons got mapped funky when I mapped them for XBMC using FireTV Side App Installer.
I figured it out. For some reason the Xbox 360 Dongle was causing the problem. I still had it plugged into the USB port. Once I removed that and restarted, everything seemed to work with the fire TV game controller.

PS4 controller issues on my m8s and xbox controller wont work with it

I know this is the m8 forum but there isnt one for the m8s.
So the issue is, my ps4 controller connects fine, but the button layout is whack and pressing the right trigger for example also moves the analogue stick according to the phone, this makes playing games with it (using services like moonlight) impossible since I cannot remap the buttons properly or even use the triggers. My wired xbox controller wont work either, the ring keeps flashing and no input is sent to the phone.
Im rooted so if anyone has fixes for either of these issues (preferably the xbox controller one) it would be greatly appreciated
