Hello kakomin91
I bid you a warm welcome to the XDA family!
You had posted your question in the development section of your device. Please mind that development sections are hallowed grounds on XDA where new threads are reserved for developers only. I have moved this to the correct location, OPPO Find X2 Questions & Answers.
Find more information on this here: Guide to OPPO Device Forums (Please Read before Posting)

To,
XDA Forum Moderators,
This Forum (https://forum.xda-developers.com/c/redmi-note-9s-note-9-pro-indian-model.10207/ or https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-9-pro), as its Title Says is a Forum For INDIAN MODEL (Curtana) not Joyeuse (International Model).
I Request Moderators to Create another Forum For International Model (Joyeuse) in order to Prevent Confusion and Some Bricks.
Thank You.
this is subforum for international model
Thread closed
As explained above by @OrGiMaSu ,it's a sub forum where you already posted, hence it's the correct place for international model

You are not able to create a forum on XDA, even I'm unable to do so. Only administrators can do that. However, you're able to create a thread in an existing forum.
Before you do that I suggest to study this guide
[GUIDE] - XDA New User Guide - Getting started on XDA
This guide is intended to be a starting point for noobs New Users to teach you how to start out on XDA and have a good experience and be good XDA community members. :D XDA is a great place where you can learn a lot about how to make your phone...

Hi guys. I'm clearly a rank amateur here amongst the experts. I did my research and used Frija and Odin to upgrade my ageing unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F XEU Dual SIM) to Android 10 from 8 so that some of my apps will still continue to work. All went well and my phone is still fully functional other than my phone memory has decreased from 256Gb to 32Gb. I followed all the instructions and right at the end deleted the cache partition in recovery mode. I didn't at any point mess with the partition settings etc so I'm puzzled as to why the data 'disk' has reduced in size. I followed the requirement to use HOME_CSC and not CSC.
Could anyone shed any light on what I'm sure must be a newbie error. Can anyone help me recover my 256Gb data 'disk'? I did make a full backup of all my data, apps etc with Samsung Smart Switch before I started.
TIA
Your first step as a new member should be to read the XDA Forum Rules. The Galaxy S20 FE section is not the place to ask questions about the Galaxy S9. Further, questions belong in the Questions and Answers subsection.
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting or creating a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's very likely that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.

15. Keep threads / posts on-topic
Whilst a minor amount of off-topic posting may be overlooked, the general rule is that your posts / threads must be relevant to the Forum / thread in which you are posting.
General Forums - For news and announcements relating to your device.
Q&A Help & Troubleshooting Forums - For all question / request threads and posts. If there is no Q&A Help & Troubleshooting forum, use the General Forum of the relevant device

Development Forums (ones with the word development in the title) - For Developers to post release threads e.g. ROMs and Kernels including modifications to kernels, bootloaders, ROMs, etc., as well as R&D development discussion threads designed with an end goal
Themes and Apps Forums - For the posting of Themes and / or Apps as well as announcements & discussions including modifications made to Themes and Apps.

I have moved your thread.
Please read the Forum Rules and the New Member Guide linked in my signature.
Thank you.
Duly noted - my apologies.
I would have used 9 instead of 10. Better app compatibility and less complicated. About the same as far as security which isn't a issue.
Thanks everyone, but I have now resolved this by reflashing the phone and re-partitioning the drive. Have my 256Gb back and Android 10. Thanks to all the advice in these pages.
