Whenever I try to unlock the bootloader of my redmi note 8 it shows "couldn't add. Device does not exist in the server". Can any one give me solution to this problem. I am using the latest miui 12.0.3
Did you use the MiUnlockTool
And did you do all the steps correctly
1) In dev options go to OEM unlocking and check it
2) In dev options find the Mi Unlock Status, do whatever it tells you to.
Then try the Mi Unlock Tool
DO NOT try the `fastboot OEM unlock`
I have not tested it and I don't want to!
I have used 7 different mi handset before...all with customization.... But can't unlock this one...
Then I suppose the only solution is either to do what I said above in developer options or go to technical support. I'm pretty sure sbd will help you since xiaomi supports unlocking and rooting
I take it you have read through this -

How To Unlock Bootloader On Xiaomi Devices Using "Mi Unlock" Tool?
Today, Xiaomi grants Mi device unlock permission to nearly everyone, however, the process is as grueling as it was a few years ago.In this article, I will try to simplify the Xiaomi bootloader unlocking process.

After failing to unlock the bootloader a few times, I realized that Xiaomi requires “Find My Device” toggled and synced to the latest location for some reason.

Hi Guys,
I need your help. I want to unlock the bootloader of my new Mi Mix 2. But in the process of unlocking in the unlock software i face this error message: "Your Device isn’t supported by Mi Unlock".
I am on the latest global developer rom. Account is linked and has permission to unlock (I did unlock the mi mix 1 before).
Do you have any ideas? Maybe someone of you has the same problem and solved it!

Is OEM unlock selected in developer options? That's the only thing I can think of if the account is linked on the phone.
Yes it is. I have no Idea whats the problem of the unlock tool.
I send a unlock request mail to xiaomi. Maybe they can do anything.
You are definitely using the latest version of the unlock tool? It is updated frequently.

Most problems on unlocking bootloader of xiaomi devices are because the users don't want to wait 360hours after binding account on the developer options, and then try whatever they found on internet to speed up the process, or they follow outdated tutorials.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 BRICKED "the system has been destroyed" and I don't know what to do!
Ok so.. I recently got a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 about 3 weeks ago from a boyfriend that lives in EU area, and I live in the US. <- context. So this Mi Mix 2 (used to) run MIUI 8 Stable, but the bootloader was unlocked so I couldn't receive OTA updates (boyfriend didn't unlock the bootloader so he's clueless). I went to the XDA Discord and was told that I can easily Lock the Bootloader by simply running a command in ADB "powershell" (after installing the 'ADB in 15 seconds') I did so. Well! It was a success and locked the loader...BUT completely bricked my phone to where now it only says "the system has been destroyed", and since the bootloader is locked, I can't flash with MiFlash now.... I've ran just about every version of MiFlash out there, tried MIUI versions from 8 all the way to 10, using Global ROM, China ROM, and EU ROM. Absolutely nothing seems to work... I even tried using MiFlash Unlock and MiSuite PC to try and fix it that way (and yes I did volume UP and power button and tried doing that stuff). But ALAS! nothing works.... is there ANYTHING AT ALL that I haven't tried, I NEED help if anyone knows ANYTHING... I've been trying for 4 hours and this is my absolute breaking point. So I'm asking here if anyone knows.
-> if you do have a solution and want to help in depth (I'm clueless to all this), please message my discord @ WaifuShork#1337 PLEASE...
Really REALLY need help with this...
Here you can find a solution. Next time, use Xiaomi official app to unlock your device.

If I use ADB to remove bloatware on the F3, will I lose my warranty? Is the Xiaomi ADB official (from Xiaomi)? Do I also lose my warranty if I unlock the bootloader and install a custom ROM? If not does Xiaomi say so on their website? What is the difference between using ADB and just deleting them manually? Thanks!
You will not use your warranty by using adb to remove bloatware. However you do waver your warranty by unlocking the bootloader to put a custom ROM on it. However you can theoretically still get a replacement despite this wavering of a warranty

Thanks! What do you mean theoretically? Can I just install MIUI again and lock the bootloader and sent it for warranty, without them finding out that I unlocked it?

You should be find. I have never had a Xiaomi and so didn't know how supportive they are. The official advice by Xiaomi is here:
What do you need to know about unlocking?
First and foremost you can only unlock your own device. This means the unlocking tool you downloaded must be logged in with the same Mi account on your device. One Mi account could only unlock one device within 30 days
Isn't locking bootloader against Mi's 'geek' spirit?
Locking bootloader is aimed to provide a better user experience, which we've been trying to do the whole time. In the meantime, we've provided an unlocking tool for senior users who know their ways around flashing and tweaking their devices.
The unlocking procedure will need Internet access to get the unlocking password. Also, the Mi Account logged in on the Mi phone and the unlocking tool needs to be the same. Otherwise, the unlocking request will be denied. This will ensure that ill-intentioned people will not get access to your personal data.

And that's where I come in.

They supported my Mi 9T Pro without any problem
Hi all. I'm thinking about purchasing a oneplus 9 pro, via tmobile. I know traditionally speaking you have to pay off your phone to network unlock, and then request an unlock token from oneplus to be able to root the device. I havent snooped around the forums here much for this device. Is there currently a way to root the phone without having to do all the pre-req crap normally required. Is there a way to unlock bootloader like there was with oneplus 7T via MSM tool or similar? I don't perticularly care about SIM unlock, just bootloader. Thanks!
Hi, you have to sim unlock inorder to bootloader unlock
Here's a lot of info for starters:

OnePlus phones are easy to root as compared to a few other brands. And since there is a flash tool available for OnePlus phones, you can take risks for rooting your phone. You can use the flash tool to fix your phone in case of any issue. Rooting is not an easy task, but Magisk app makes it easier if you follow the correct steps. But you cannot directly root your phone by default. So first we will share how to unlock bootloader of OnePlus 9 (Pro).

If all you want to do is root/ROM your phone, then you don't need to "unlock your phone". You just need to "unlock your bootloader" which is something different and not hard.
My phone is still SIM-locked but I have rooted it and installed Havoc OS ROM.
To unlock the bootloader, this app should do the trick.
