Some personal thoughts:
- you should read at least install instructions stated in this post - i won`t offer support for any issues regarding installation;
- press 'Thanks' button instead of saying it - it will keep the thread clean and keep me motivated to do more;

How to install:
Make sure you've flashed Create Vendor 2.0 and updated TWRP to latest available before flashing this rom.
Once you have treble ready device, reboot to recovery once again and do the usual wipes(system, vendor, cache/dalvik)
If you're coming from stock Format internal storage.
If you're coming from other ROMs/AOSP ROMs/Previous versions of this ROM, make sure to wipe DATA as well.
Once you've completed above mentioned steps, flash the ROM zip and select desired features in AROMA Installer.
After its completed, reboot to system. Wait for 30 seconds at the bootanim and hard reboot(powerkey+voldown+homebutton).
Setup device and flash mods like magisk after that.
Reporting Bugs:
Join our telegram group to report bugs. Make sure to attach a logcat or your report will be ignored. If the installation fails, attach /sdcard/Totsuka.log.

Nice

I tried to install this ROM following all instructions, after select aroma features, i reboot to system but the cellphone dont go bootanimation it goes to blue screen with 'Downloading... Do not turn off target', i can go to odin mode but even forzing shutdown only appears black screen with logo 'Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro' and returns to blue screen, i cant even go to recovery mode anymore, is there a solution or i lose my phone?

You can't mount data unless you flash encryption disable then reboot recovery and FORMAT data then wipe data
So keep backup for everything you need.

Anyway, this thread for tatsuka, not for twrp, so you will not see anything about twrp
Twrp/any custome recovery/ install steps is

Enable oem unlock
Reboot download
In odin untick auto reboot
Flash recovery tar file
Manually reboot recovery
Flash no verity opt encrept 6 0 zip
Reboot recovery again to make sure it's still there
Done
If you flashed ofox you need to flash ofox zip file inside to let recovery set some proper files
Read carefully

TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices on forums like xda-developers.​​Note​

Hello, download the firmware using samfw.com and dump it using AndroidDumps/dumpyara in GitHub.

yes you can fix it :
Download original firmware ,unzip AP file via 7zip , in archive have recovery file zip it via 7zip in .tar formant ,flash via ODIN .

Is there any support for one ui 4.0 version? (When i flashed twrp using odin and when i was trying to boot into recovery and system, it said: invalid vbmeta header and it didnt load into system)

Introduction:
Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch-driven user interface, with no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML-driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
Onscreen keyboard
Easy selection of internal/external storage
In addition to the above new features, TWRP features a scripting engine that allows an app to send commands to the recovery for the recovery to perform during startup. We call this scripting engine OpenRecoveryScript. This engine will be put to use immediately in the GooManager app. GooManager will be able to install recoveries automatically for most supported devices. The app will also let you choose to install multiple zips from within Android, wipe, and run a backup.
We are looking for other talented developers, themers, and device maintainers if they are interested in helping with a free, open-source project.

Normal Installation:
Please visit the TWRP website and follow the instructions for zippo as it is the same instructions as heart which are found here
Keeping bootloader locked Installation:
QFIL to heart ZUI 11.5.247 which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WxUAfXAnRmV-QvDLTmBItJEXnY3WMtDS/view
Second, ensure your bootloader is locked and that it boots into system fine.
Download the twrp-locked-bootloader zip and extract it and follow the instructions in the image file.
To out your phone in EDL mode? Power it off and then hold both the volume down and up at the same time and plug in a USB cable from your PC to your device. If it is successful, it will show up in the QFIL app as one of the COM ports you can select. NOTE! Once your device is in EDL mode, you have less than 2 minutes to QFIL before it disables flashing, so it is best to have the QFIL app set up and ready to flash before you put your device into EDL mode. Otherwise? You will need to reboot the device and try again.
After performing the QFIL, force a reboot to bootloader with your power and volume down buttons and then reboot to recovery. Congratulations! You now have a locked bootloader and TWRP installed. NOTE! If you reboot to system after the QFIL? The stock ROM will overwrite TWRP, so it is important that after QFIL you immediately reboot to bootloader then recovery.
Nandroid backup/restore
Have an available microSD Card or USB OTG drive
Backup boot, dtbo, system image, vendor image and data (optionally any other partitions you want a backup of) to your external storage device of choice
Once you wish to restore? Reboot to TWRP and format data (Wipe > "format data" button > type yes > keyboard checkbox)
Reboot to TWRP
Restore boot, dtbo, system image and vendor image
Reboot to system
Once it boots to the system without issues? Do not set any lockscreen security and reboot to TWRP
Restore data
Reboot to system
After it finishes boot? Your data and ROM will be restored but sometimes the UI might be incorrect, so reboot to the system again
For the TEST builds of TWRP? Please let me know if this works. If so? I will submit it to Gerrit for official updates.

Heyyo, a new test build of TWRP is up! twrp-3.6.2_12-0_UNOFFICIAL-20220818-01-heart is upgraded to A 12.1 branch so it can decrypt A12 ROMs. Please tell me if you're on an A13 ROM if it can't decrypt. If so I think I have a fix for that ready but I can't remember if this build has it or not

It's a recovery, why do you need it to be a flashable zip?
If you want to flash it on-device without a PC you can use a terminal like so:

dd if=/path/to/your/twrp.zip of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery bs=4M

It doesn't work on curtana... I can flash and boot into it, but it won't flash lineageos without error messages, even after a format... booted to orangefox and the same lineage ROM sideloaded straight up

i have ghost touch issues. first time i uses everthing was fine. no´w month later i wanted to updated the rom and now this. the issues occures only in twrp

Hi, it's work for my mi 10 5G however, i can't decrypt my data therefore download folder and others can't be shown.. can you fix it?

Will it work with A12 ROM? I am willing to take backup and none of the other recovery can do that yet

Thanks a Ton for this TWRP.
It worked on my Redmi Note 9 Pro Max V12.5.5.0. Android 11.
Internal storage is still encrypted on MIUI.
I hope there will be some some solution to it in near future.
I tried flashing Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip, still files are showing encrypted.
Files on SD card are not encrypted, just for your informaion.
As a work around for flashing ZIPs , I'm connecting phone to PC and transferring zips to SD card and flashing in TWRP. It works.
I think it could take TWRP backup (current rom) in SD card. I have to try this.

If it's not encrypted I'd assume It'll work just fine

Is there/will there be support for decrypting using unlock pattern instead of PIN or Password? I have LineageOS 18 installed but I cannot update currently because I use an unlock pattern but when I try to decrypt data the only option is to enter a password...

Hi @alvin14, I've a small question concerning this custom rom: the camera driver and algorithm come from the stock rom right? So the quality is the same?
Another small question: how would you consider the battery life compared to the stock rom without any custom kernel? I know it's the beginning of development so it's not like I'm waiting for better bettery life or no bugs or whatever. It's just for curiosity from your own experience while developing and using it.

I have a custom kernel with my build, i have not done a stock kernel in a bit, will examine and see however batter life is extremely great so far. Almost two days of battery, had about 45% remaining.

I tried two times and I got the same "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly" issue. I can't understand what's the problem. I'll try with your new update, but I don't expect any change.
I tried from my rooted stock rom and after, of course, a pure stock freshly installed. The sideload installation seems to work fine with step 1 and 2 but the reboot always gives me the same corrupt message. At least I can go back to stock, so it's ok, but I'm still trying to find a solution and nothing comes to my mind.
Do you have any idea?

Are you on A13 stock?, did you flash boot and vendor boot prior to flashing?

Yes for all of them. Since it's ArrowOS 13.0, it's based on Android 13, right? Sorry if I'm mistaking, but it'd be quite confusing
But yeah, I flashed boot.img then vendor_boot.img and rebooted to recovery to use Apply Update option then ADB Sideload as explained by @Schnedi before. And it seemed to work fine since the installation ended without any issue after step 2/2.

I didn't, but the second time I installed the rom just after flashing the stock. You think it could be the issue?
Edit: I'm trying, I'll tell you if it changes something.

Ok @alvin14 I did the factory reset, installed the ROM and tried to factory reset again and here is the message I get :
ERROR: recovery: [libfs_mgr]Unable to enable ext4 verify on /dev/block/platform/14700000.ufs/by-name/metadata because /system/bin/tune2fs is missing
ERROR: recovery: Open failed: /metadata/ota: No such a file or directory
Then I still get the corrupted device issue.

Only Factory Reset prior, not after unless you did a first boot.

Just to be safe.
Flash boot & vendor boot.
Boot recovery
Factory reset
Flash rom via adb
Reboot.

Same issue, the device is corrupted.
I did exactly what is explained before so:
• Reboot to bootloader
• Flash boot.img (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
• Flash vendor_boot.img (fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img)
• Reboot to recovery
• Factory Reset (added this step as suggested)
• Select option "Apply update from ADB"
• Type: adb sideload arrow_raven-ota-eng.alvin.zip
• Reboot to system
And the result is always the same, even with the new update.

Back to stock, boot stock, then try again, the earlier issue was due to not factory resetting prior to booting I believe however everyone else got it booted fine.
