IMS
All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.
To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,
- Go to Settings > XperiaParts - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.
NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.
Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.
What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.
How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.
What to do then ?
You can do 2 things:
- Switch to 3G and wait if it worksOR- Go to Settings > XperiaParts- Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.
I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.
I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.
- Switch to 3G and wait. If it doesn't work then: - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.

The guide is: reset your phone with stock frimware and flash H3 lol
Thanks very much @Rooted_Ansh ! I can't wait to install it ; )
Installed non-GAPPS version using russel5's twrp from 4pda but following instructions in OP. Ran through set up then factory reset after first boot. Booted to twrp and flashed pico gapps 11.
So far, ROM is running flawlessly. No issues with SD card or anything else yet. However, I haven't yet put a sim in since it's my tester xz1c. I'll do so over the next few days and report back.
Excellent work as always Ansh, thank you much
Tried dirty flash but ended with boot stuck (after 15min I quit) and done the Clean flash - so far so good.
Carier network detected from first start (usual reboot required), Google pay works, everything else looks good.
Thank you @Rooted_Ansh for this great rom!
I can't shoot videos in anything higher than 30FPS. 1080p60 and 720p960 modes worked just fine in the previous release.

Through my investigation, I don’t know if it’s my problem. Applications with API=30 cannot be installed (this is why I can’t install launcher3)
I solved this problem because some magisk modules I installed were wrong. Pardon me for interrupting you.

Thank you for your work.

"Ok Google" or "Hey Google" is disabled as it would aquire a wakelock, prevent device to sleep and then draining battery.
I will try to fix it if it's possible.

FAQ:
So you want to enter the competitive world of professional ROM flashing? If so, you need to take your phone flashing to a new level. How can you position yourself and your expertise so you are the dev's obvious choice? Be honest. Do you enjoy troubleshooting? Do you have a problem with things going wrong? If so, then you might be better off staying on your current OS.
If you are still reading this and are sitting in your chair thinking: “I could do that, if I tried”, then maybe you have a chance.
If you can't read, watch this video: https://youtu.be/JmvCpR45LKA
Q: I flashed an update and lost TWRP
A: If you have access to a computer, go to 1. No computer and s-off go to 2. No computer and s-on go to 3.
You need to re-flash the TWRP file via fastboot.
Go to this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/2016-05-27-fastboot-flashing-firmware-t3387520
Read the instructions before flashing anything. Make sure you choose the right file.
Refer to this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72875043&postcount=2059
Q: How can I prevent the loss of TWRP when updating?
A: You need to flash root to prevent TWRP from being overwritten.
Note that this is only true for older builds as of July 2017. The problem with TWRP has been resolved as of the first official release of July 2017.
Q: I’m coming from Viper or some other stock-based ROM. What do I need to do?
A:
If you’re encrypted, you need to format (different than wipe. You have to type “yes” in TWRP) your internal storage.
This will wipe everything from your internal storage including TWRP folder with backups, titanium backup, etc. If you have anything you want to keep, move it to external storage or back it up to the computer before proceeding.
If you’re not encrypted, just do a normal wipe (system, cache, dalvik, data) and flash the ROM, gapps, and either SuperSU or Magisk for root.
Q: I want to use this ROM, but I don’t want root. Is that possible?
A: You’re in luck. This ROM does not come pre-rooted. So you can use this with no root if you desire. Although, I’m not sure why you would want to do that, but you can.
Q: My phone reboots randomly
A: Use adb or any other file explorer tool to pull a copy of /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops (command: adb pull /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops) after the reboot and post that. Try to include what you were doing when experiencing the reboot. Also refer to the next question before filing any reports.
Q: I’m having weird crashes/reboots
A: Do you have other third party software installed such as a different kernel, Magisk, sound mods, etc.? Remove all of these before submitting a bug report. Reports made with unsupported software like what is listed above will not be addressed.
Q: Will this ROM receive frequent Security Updates?
A: Yes
Q: Does this ROM pass SafetyNet?
A: It should if you don’t flash root when installing the ROM, since it doesn’t come loaded with root out of the box. If you want root, Magisk will allow you to pass SafetyNet.
Q: Does OTA work?
A: Yes
Q: Do I need to do a clean install?
A: If you’re coming from another ROM, yes. If you’re already running ours, a dirty flash should be fine unless otherwise specified. If you have problems, try a clean flash before reporting issues. Refer to an above question if you are coming from a stock-based ROM or are possibly encrypted.
Q: Will you add stuff to the ROM?
A: *insert perhaps cow meme here*
Q: Is this a Sense based ROM?
A: No
Q: Does the camera work?
A: See the OP for current stuff not working
Q: Will Stock camera work on this ROM?
A: No

Confirm. So the same could not be uploaded. Hangs on the download.
I can install the rom successfully now. It's a gapps issue that the opengapps 20171024 doesn't work. I use GZR-GaPPs instead and enjoy the Oreo :d
Anyone got a link to an alternative gapps that works. cheers.

Wow, this was quick and robust and epic , folks. Gonna give it a whirl soon.
Kudos and congrats
Any tips on what commits in kernel absolutely necessary to run oreo?
I'm planning on trying the sense hybrid kernel but of course the caf updates are not there.

You really also need the dtsi commits that @RenderBroken has pointed out a few times.. I have them on my kernel:

Just my quick 2 cents review The UI does look dope tho, pity it can't be used as a daily driver for now for me

Thanks on the guide sir. But brightness is not working for me at all. I've checked in the Display settings and it just shows it at 50% no matter how I try to adjust it. No idea if anyone else is facing this issue.

Hi all,
Aug patch disturbed many working things.
I.e. hotspot & asus camera.
Both issue not in jul patch which made by Suhail Malik.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/192N1nsl6u85gtjKUgjl555h3JYMWuNor/view?usp=drivesdk
You can use this build till issues resolves.
In this build also has magisk issue but you need to patch using earlier post method.
Thanks to Suhail.

Hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. Looks like quite a few ROMs are facing similar issues bcoz of the security patch.
Havoc new updated build here.
Fixed Hotspot issue.

after using WiFi for a while if I turn off wifi and then try to use mobile data then mobile data doesn't work.
if i restart phone or turn on airplane mode then mobile works
Thank you for the ROM!
It's working very smoothly up to now, including battery consumption.
In the Telegram group, the installations instructions says that TWRP is already included in the ROM, but it's not.
The OTA feature downloads a 1.5Gb file, but was not able to install it in the other slot.
Why did the bootanimation become white/black? It is related to the color theme of our settings?
I also tryed to compile the ROM by myself but did not manage to pass some initial errors.
I was able to compile the GSI (Treble) ROM, but our phone is not the best to test GSIs, at least, not for me. GSI Rom did not boot. Maybe anyone else could try.
Missed (very minor) features and or glitches:
- Resize old apps full screen (the option we have does not work or the app uses just part of the screen)
- Wi-Fi drops that I cannot really trace the cause (maybe my DNS)
- Our FOD is not the best in class, and it's not different in EvolutionX
- Without the labels, the QS icons are too far from each other and the space could be trimmed
- The option (setting) to remove the VPN message at the bottom of the QS
- Reorient (swap) volume buttons when 180º rotated
- Forced close messages disable option
- Among the (amazing!) vibration patterns, I miss the very simple "da-da" one
- When clicking the "Do not disturb" QS icon, the tile does not expand by itself to show all options (time to be in silent, for intance)
- Weather is not being displayed in lockscreen (although listed in the settings)

TWRP is now included in latest build (4.1.69)
OTA is a bug that is still under development
Edit: it's fixed in the latest build.
Bootanimation changes colour according to device theme
Wifi issues is when you don't flash pie vendor before installing
Yes , the labels removed make the gap too large and many other minor issues exist. But these are from ROM source , and these exist on any other phone running evox. So it is not developer's fault.
Some bugs such as weather and the dnd qs tile bug will probably be fixed in next builds.
Thanks

I couldn't get the last build to work with wifi and bt.
I flashed the vendor on both slots, formated data, followed the steps a bunch of times but no success.
Wat i can do to work?
----- EDIT -----
After a reboot the Wifi and Bluetooth worked. I'll try it out to find if there's some sort of instability
Cheers!
thanks new update fixed my problem
How is the SOT?
Why is this in the wrong section? It should be in ROMs and kernels section
I can't backup data partition within TWRP. Am I alone?
3rd party chargers support?
My 18W 3rd party charger doesnt work(it takes 3 hours for full charge). It worked fine with PE ROM and Stock ROM. Is it because of ROM or kernel maybe? Xiaomi 10W charger that comes with the phone works fine.
I experienced the same bug as W3ND31. At first it wouldn't even boot even tough I followed the Installation instructions exactly.
After I cleared cache again (2nd time after initial install) I got it to boot but WiFi and BT wouldn't work. 2-3 more reboots in would somehow fix it but BT Audio is not working properly in my car, only for headphones. I really like this Rom but its not stable yet and has some minor bugs like the ones mentioned above.
I think the issue with WiFi/BT could be related to global and EU vendor. I am back to EU stock now but will check again after some updates have been made and I really hope this Rom will stay maintained unlike some of the other Roms for this phone and I am even willing to donate once its working 'flawless'.
I am sorry I couldn't provide some logcats but I didn't have time because this is my main device and I was testing this in the evening before work.

Mi A3 bootloader doesn't allow data partition to be backed up in TWRP , so you're not alone

Everything is working for me , all you need to do before installing is to flash pie vendor on both slots(flash fastboot pie ROM) then follow installation instructions.

In these applications I had no problems, I have bug in long video call in whatsapp, I'm trying to fix it for the next update. Try changing the base, I'm using base 13

Error in TWRP
Hi there, I've been trying to install this ROM quite a while but I'm unable to do so. I am running build 10.0.13.0 but the problem percists on 10.0.18.0 too. I am also using dees_troy's TWRP and I keep running into this error:
Code:
Step 1/2
Error applying update: 7 (ErrorCode : : kInstallDeviceOpenError)
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file 'external_sd/ROM/Havoc-OS-v3.5-20200511-0140-daisy-UNNOFFICIAL-GApps.zip'
Updating partitiondetails...
...done
Edit: Fixed it myself, for some reason dees_troy_'s TWRP is uncappable of installing the room, after switching to offain's TWRP everything worked fine.
Vanilla download link
Is there vanilla version still available? The latest (3.5) is gapps only 1.2 GB in size.
I tried the latest build but got stuck at the boot animation. I could hear the phone screen turn off sound so must have booted almost completely.
I'm on 10.0.13 btw.

Same here but I'm using a RN9pro global joyeuse, seems everything's working fine, except for face unlock doesn't exist on settings, and when phone on sleep/standby for a long time it shuts off/turns off everytime.
Thank you to anyone can help fix issue.

i flash on a different havoc os with the same versions.
fixed:
re-flash a different rom then flash this rom over and the power off behavior is gone.
now :
as stated this rom has a face unlock which i did no have. after flashing the rom
and the Ok google, not working as well.
beyond those two rom is quite good for a daily for me.
dumb question:
should i be on default miui 11 stock. before flashing other roms?
thanks for responding

The devs do tell you to flash the latest available firmware before flashing a rom but I guess that it's not required every time you flash unless the stock MIUI got a firmware update.

Well, I haven't seen anybody else complaining about this so it's weird that it's happening to you... Maybe you should try by first flashing the latest firmware and then again flashing the ROM. Maybe that'll fix it.

That's correct but make sure to only mount data, dalvik cache and cache after wiping and before flashing the ROM. Then, after flashing the ROM, remember to format data again before rebooting to system, or to recovery to install gapps or magisk.
