Updated: Solved ==> remove all security unlock by Code, fingerprint, face detection... Then restart the phone >>> backup as normal.

i have this fone and as a security lock i selected 9999 now when it asks for my password it shows the first three 9's but will not take a fourth, i take it shows this due to emergency services! now when im putting in the password a timer is running down and it will not take the password i have given it
any help or ideads MUCH appreciated

short of either hard reset from boot loader , or reflash firmware, once security locks are placed in the software if they are corrupted or changed and forgotten you cannot bypass them.
if this is a sim card pin, then after 3 fails then will ask for PUK code of which you can get from your network provider

note: if hard reset or reflash all data will be lost, so hopefully you have sync'd with your pc at least 1 time and it backed up your contacts and basic data from my documents
I just flashed my Nexus 6 and have a couple of issues. When I try to enable a PIN in the settings, settings force closes. I enabled the PIN during the setup wizard and it works for encryption, but lock screen security is set to swipe and I can't change it. Also, when I try to add a second Google account it says "Sorry, there seems to be a problem. Please try again." I've tried several times. Last, some of the features mentioned on the website seem to be missing or I just don't know how to access or enable them, such as, the pie navigation menu.
Thanks for the work on this ROM. Other than these minor issues, it lives up to what I've heard.
1. PIN is known issue, already fixed for next build.
2. Please get a log regarding your Google account error
3. The website has not been updated

Hi,
Got a LG G4 stuck in boot loop - going to sell it on ebay as spares/repairs. Managed to get my contact list off it and factory reset it with the freezer method. Seems to have worked as after it was only optimising 8 apps (had 26 before reset) and then took me to a screen asking for mobile data or wifi and my last gmail account - I understand this to be a security measure to prevent thefts and wipes?
My question is: presumably I need to enter my last gmail details - will the phone then remember them? ie will i need to keep freezing my phone after successful gmail account entry to then go in to the settings and remove the gmail account details from the accounts section? As I'm selling the phone I'd rather not have any of my account information on there

theres no need to. just keep blank and press next itll ask skip this step just skip everything. so no need to use your account.
I can't access my Google Account as it says too many failed attempts and Google couldn't verify that account belongs to you.
I tried Factory Reset, eRecovery, Safe Mode, TalkBack & Dialer Trick but nothing worked with this message "Unlock your device first".
Also I can't access Emergency Back Up as it takes me to language selection.
I am unable to use my phone since Last Week. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Suggest me a rollback package from 9.1.0.154(C675E7R1P1)
Month ago I decided to put passcode for my RedMagic 5G device. I couldn't find any other option but (pattern) So i place it, after that i got the (finger print) option so i tried to place it but in order to do so i would have to put the pattern. I put the pattern it gave me (wrong password) message i tried couple of times it didn't work.
Searched in Google and i read "if its locked, after few fail attempts it will give me to recover password using google account"
So i locked it kept trying but it never show me the "google option" it just kept adding more cool down time for the next attempt.
I deleted the device from my google acct. I format it (wipe data) all my data gone and it still require the pattern.
i format it multiple times and pattern still require.
to the point it got in loop mood and got stuck on retrieve data ,I flashed it with ROM. the problem solved but still require the pattern.
i format it after the new ROM but still require pattern.
PLEASE help what i should do now?
and would root fix the problem?
