I don't know, it's probably ok.
Motorola Update Policy
Basically, Motorola will only provide One major Android update and two years of regular security updates.
But may extend support for devices that see longer than normal usage.
9 to 5 Google said:
For instance, this policy depends on the majority, so people who switch/upgrade their devices early could ruin the long-time use of a phone for others. Further, it’s just a paradox. Motorola is essentially saying that it will update phones the longer people keep them, but people will be more likely to upgrade their phone if they feel it’s been abandoned.

Motorola just announced a new Android update policy that paradoxically ties long-term support to how long most customers keep their phones.

Does Motorola still use blur_* OTA updates? If so, is there any other tool to get them? I tried the OTAU.exe and the online version... Couldn't find anything. Also, OTAU says it couldn't find the software version. I entered it manually, but still, it doesn't find anything.

Great info all easy to find!
I tried everything I could think of to find the stock ROM to get the boot.img out of to use Magisk on for my Moto g32 XT2235-2 (devon) and did not find it anywhere. No PC to run the Lenovo assistant (although this is my backup plan if nothing else works in a few days is find someone with a PC - I've used the tool before and it has saved phones for me that I messed up somehow).
Is there any way to pull the boot.img out of the phone itself with unlocked bootloader using fastboot commands or something?

Thanks for the link. It looks like that is for the xt2235-1 which by "retbr" I'm guessing means retail Brazil. I was looking to find xt2235-2 / "reteu" or retail Europe. I might try it eventually, but I'm in no hurry so I'll probably wait. Perhaps Lineage or other ROM will eventually be made.

Over the past few days, I have been working on a new version of Seven-Eighter based off of the source code that Jaxbot kindly provided. I have made numerous improvements to the original version.
One of those improvements is instead of embedding the links to the update files as strings in the actual program, my version of Seven-Eighter downloads a config file from the internet which contains the links to the update files. In this manner, you, the user, do not have to download a new version of the program every time Microsoft releases a new update for Windows Phone 7.x. All I have to do on my end when a new update comes out is to just update the config file once I find links for the new update.
Some more improvements include improved error handling and some better instruction to help you with the update process. If you haven't yet, you should really check it out. I am curious as to what people think of my version compared to the original.
You can find the link to download my version of Seven-Eighter on my blog here: http://bit.ly/ZOzAz9
Now as such, I am always looking to improve. I welcome any and all suggestions. If you want to throw something my way to help with development you are welcome to do so, but not required (your satisfaction works just as well, check my signature for instructions).
Nice work!

To be honest, I didn't test my version of Seven-Eighter with a custom rom image (only stock factory rom image). What build is it currently running?
I have the exact same question.
I pretty much bricked by bootlaoder on my AT&T HD7S using the initial version of SevenEighter from jaxbot and now can't even use the gold card method to downgrade since I need it unlocked.
My RGB bootloader screen only shows one line of text at the top in the red and nothing in the white space where it should say USB HOST/Loader Mode.
But at least I had a 7.5 Zune backup that I can restore to, the only thing being that it doesn't restore my bootloader.
So, question is, can I use your software to upgrade to a custom unlocked 7.8?
Thank you!
I was finally able to get my Focus S upgraded to 7.8. Got tired of waiting. I had a problem with the application and had to close it. when I relaunched, it continues where it left off. Nice! I left the update.log just in case.
Now I just need to unlock it for side loading. Anyone recommend ways that still work? Thanks.

Yes. The seveneighter app worked perfectly. I just wish I could install the version of htc connection setup I had on my hd2 so I could change my apn settings for my carrier instead of being locked out of my mms.

With that said, this site has a good selection of stock LG G4 H812 kdz's/roms: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h812-firmwares/

I believe the letters indicate the timeline sequence of when the rom version was released - i.e., with X signifying the latest in the Marshmallow (Android 6) releases.

Hello everyone, I have following questions:
1. Can the bootloader of the nokia 6.1 TA-1068 (International, dual SIM 4GB 64GB) be unlocked using the following method?: MOD deleted. Link to commercial service.
2. Where can i download the latest stock firmware for TA-1068?
3. Being a Samsung user, I've used odin to flash my phone. Is there a similar tool that can flash stock firmware on Nokia phone (with locked bootloader)? Is it possible to downgrade on locked bootloader?

i dont know much yet since i have yet to unlock my 6.1
i will pay that website to downgrade then unlock, but yes, you can downgrade, and yes there is some tools Nokia OST Tool, but i dont even know what for
this nokia phones are stupid, being locked bootloader they barely dont have support on xda, there are no system images, no nothing, just stuff uploaded from regular people
i am afraid to do anything on this phone because you dont know how to recover it, on a google nexux pixel or motorolas, they are super dumb and easy to recover from adb fastboot thanks to an unlocked bootloader
The phone is very good for price specially now that price has gone down, the 4gb 64gb version is much cheaper than redmi note 6 pro, making it a very good buy. Only drawback (and a major one) is lack of support from nokia regarding bootloaders/recovery firmwares.
i am afraid to flash anything because there's no reliable flash method and stock roms online. also hesitant to unlock bootloader lest Nokia releases a free unlock after i pay for it.
Nokia should at least confirm whether they'll release official unlock for 6.1 or not!
I just found this out.

Would anyone confirm whether "PL2-222E-0-00WW-B02.nb0" is a stock fimrware for Nokia 6.1 (TA-1068)? How can one flash it? Also can it be flashed if someone has already updated to pie?

I contacted the staff of OnePlus to inquire about this question. They said that the degraded conversion package is only for CN variant. They don't think it's a problem and won't solve it.
So I'm trying to port it into the non Chinese variant of the device, because I don't have enough money to buy the EU variant OnePlus 9 (I need it to study the difference between the Non-CN variant and the Chinese variant, because the European variant is cheaper, so I plan to buy this variant), the research progress will be very slow.
At present, I have designed three plans:
1. Make changes to the firmware on the device to fit the degraded package.
2. Using the MsmDownloadTool of ColorOS to flash. (I'm responsible for remote operation, so it can't be used as a long-term solution)
3. Extract the ColorOS firmware out of the raw image to flash. (may die in partition problems, and should not apply to 9R)
4. (This plan has been abandoned, because the signature can not be forged, and it is too troublesome to adapt to each different model) Make changes to the degraded package to adapt to the hardware of different regions.
Due to the above reasons, I can't test and implement plan 1 and 3. I have found a brave 9 Pro India user to test plan 2 and wait for the good news.
I'm going to launch crowdfunding in the near future. If you have extra funds and want to try ColorOS, please support me.
If you want to provide the device for testing (it doesn't necessarily succeed and the device will not be returned regardless of the results), you can also contact me.
If you want to apply for the remote test scheme, I will be happy to accept it. However, please note that no matter what the result is, I am not responsible for any impact of the remote test on your device, and the device may lose its warranty; Since I am still a high school student, I will only provide remote testing service in my spare time (China, GMT+8, Asia/Shanghai).

I put the package in the update channel. It seems to apply only to LE2120 CN variant. That's why I need a EU 9 to study the differences
It's not msm tool for unbrick. It's just downgrade package.

Some C21 stock firmware has references to RMX3061 in the file name and that model is the C20. Anyway, all you can do is post which models are known to work and which are known not to.
BTW, except for dev work and testing are there any good reasons to unlock the boot loader yet?
I had brought issue up with XDA, due to the phone not being a big market share, that the 2 different phone models to share the same forums, I had expressed concerns that people may try to flash wrong firmwares etc due to different chips etc , so we just need to be careful as to what the title of each posts are and or the information in those posts.
As for bootloader unlock. Always a good reason, testing phone limits, trying to build new roms or recovery etc

Funnily enough, when I wrote that I didn't think I need an unlocked boot loader until some stable custom rom came out, but looking at all the different sites that my phone wants to connect to outside of the Googleplex I decided a few days ago that it needs a firewall on it to restrict outbound connections if I'm ever to use it outside my own LAN. It's seems preferable to me to run an iptables based firewall e.g. AFWall+ which requires root rather than the ones that don't and rely on the tunneling interface Android provides for user-mode VPN clients. Gaining root is also useful to back up all partitions of course and it seems the way to acquire root is best done through an unlocked boot loader and magisk.
