[Discussion] Every Honor 6X may have a NFC chip!

Warning: Everything in this thread is not confirmed. These are my thoughts, you may find them nonsense or well founded, so please do not blame me if they result being wrong.
Hello guys. Today I've discovered something that made me a little angry.
I've got two phones, a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and a Honor 6X. They are usually lying in the same pocket.
I noticed that every time i just grab the Honor off, its screen gets powered on.
So I went deeper with my research and I discovered that, even if my BLN-L21 is sold as a non-NFC model (there's nothing in phone settings), it has the NFC chip, and battery IS giving power to the chip.
In fact, every time the M4's NFC gets on the 6X's eventually-existing NFC chip position (near the fingerprint scanner, a little below), the screen gets on. This does not happen when I put the phones in different positions. This happens when the M4 is powered off, meaning that 6X's NFC scanner is probably working. This happens with other NFC-capable (Android) phones, but doesn't happen with non-NFC phones.
So, yes. Your Honor 6X probably has an NFC chip. Huawei simply decided that your country cannot have this feature.
If there is any developer, please give a look to the software. There may be a chance to enable NFC on every Honor 6X. And if you know any developer with this phone, please tag him. This may be a nice discover.

Aren't brand roms strictly compatible with the branded models? Mine is a BLN-L21C432, and I think that "C432" stands for the particularity of having NFC disabled. So probably any rom made for a different model will refuse to install.
Or maybe C432 has nothing to do with this, I don't have enough knowledge to confirm that.

Yeah, really nicely. I can upload a demonstration video if you want to.

I noticed something in the following file:
root/system/emui/overseas/local.prop
It mentions something about nfc.
"ro.config.hw_nfc_on=false"
Maybe if you change that to true (root required), something happens, i cannot test it as i already have a working nfc function (eu model).
It only seems to be present in the overseas folder though, maybe thats used as a default in the US?

I don't know, I can't test it because I was rooted, then I accidentally updated my phone and the bootloader got locked, but that's another story. Anyway I've got EU version too, what's your model number?

That's so strange. If you have Firmware Finder on your phone, can you tell me what is the latest build shown for your device? Is it BLN-L21C432B366?

Even if you use galaxy s8, if you look for bln-l21c432 updates, you'll find b366 is the latest )it isn't approved for installation yet)

I know. But if you don't change the model number, it will search for the latest available for your specific model (You can see it swiping from left to right). And this is what I asked, because BLN-L21C185 and BLN-L21C10 are getting different updates. So appareantly, I've got the exactly same phone as Mvs1989.

On BLN-24 mine is set to true. But still don't have the option in settings.

Привет. Можно подробнее как это сделать? Я уже сделал ребрэнд l21c10 в l22 Индия и обновился до Андроид 8. Не могу заставить работать NFC.

Hello, I did as you told me. TV booted into update, but didn't go off with notification: No available update package, system update stopped. Could you help me please to find another update files? Looking forward to hearing from you!

Did you now excatly firmware installed or firmware number for your model ?
Android 7 or 8 ?

No idea, TV is stucked on logo, can't check. Just have photos of motherboard stickers and back TV sticker if this will help you.

Press and hold power button on TV until led start blinking.

V339 need to unzip (V343 no need) and pkg file copy to USB drive FAT32.
TV must be Off...press and hold TV power button till update starting......

I tried this process. I formatted the USB to exFAT and later to NTS
I unzipped the file and only put the .pkg file on the usb.
I tried holding power button but nothing came up.
Maybe I need to use another USB and convert it into FAT32

No old firmware version.
You can access TV channels by auto or manually (need to know transmit frequencies).

Hi ! I have a question. Now that Honor is no longer attached to Huawei and uses Snapdragon Socs is it possible to unlock the bootloader and thus have Mods and Custom Rom as well as be able to Root the smartphone ?

In an attempt to fix stability problems (Had a rooted BS3 BETA ROM) i downloaded an OTA update that turned out to be BS3PRO's so my OS is pretty messed up now (Fingerprint not working, 4G and 5G not working, etc.)
Could anyone please provide download links or backups of flashable MP3 or MP4 GLOBAL (Or EU) ROM?
My phone used to be rooted and has unlocked bootloader.

Needs QCN to try ko fix the baseband problem, I think? I don't have a flashable backup but if a QFIL link is fine for you, then here it is

У меня BS3 KLE-H0 MP3 эту прошивку я скачал и прошил но телефон не запускает систему ! При прошивке через qfil ошибки не было, могу лог файла скинуть!
