Whenever I try to enter fastboot and connect to my PC, the phone just kicks itself out of fastboot. Tried reinstalling drivers.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi guys,
Recently I've downgraded Acro S to 4.0.4 and yesterday I wanted to install CynogenMod 12 on it, but failed, as it seems to me the fastboot drivers are not installed correctly (and I don't know how and what to do about it). In MSC mode when connected to pc an empty semi-transparent drive occurs on My Computer. Can't get in (I can do pretty much nothing with it). When trying to get in the fastboot mode, the phone stays in fastboot mode for a 3-5 secs and then it continues to charge the battery as in usual mode. Therefore on pc in cmd it doesn't find fastboot devices and when entering other commands it says <waiting for device> or something. I tried 15 sec ADB installer - didn't help. Other adb and fastboot drivers too - didn't help. Could you help me guys? Thank you in advance!
BTW, I'm on Win 10, if it can solve the problem
Hey,
trying to flash the preview. Enabled adb in dev. settings and when the watch is normally powered on i see my watch in adb devices. However, after typing adb reboot bootloader and being in fastboot mode, it doesnt find my device.
Short said: PC recognizes watch on adb, but not on fastboot in fastboot mode, have tried many adb versions etc. but didnt help.
It also says in device-manager "Android", with a yellow triangle when being in bootloader/fastboot mode.
Cables are ok!!
Thanks for any help!
You need drivers to be installed.

If you just type "flash-all.bat" (no quotes) and hit Enter it should still work. It does for me.

I am having Moto M XT1663 phone I bought was already boot unlocked so i decided to Install recovery and Root so that I can enjoy rooted things.
The problem is that the phone not detectable in Fastboot mode phone can only be detected in ADB mode. When I write command "ADB devices" it shows my device.
If I want to reboot into boat loader and use fastboot devices after hitting enter it shows nothing and no error appears.
I google about my phone's drivers that should be installed in order to use fastboot mode. So I installed them but no success.
One thing I notice that In fast boot mode my laptop giveys USB detection error and also tells me ADB interface failed.
Tried below mentioned things in order to get my phone detected in fastboot mode:
1) tried 3 different laptops(my Nexus 6p is detectable on all three laptops).
2) changed USB cable.
3) FDR using recovery.
EDIT: Problem solve by install Mediatek driver from windows update
Hello,
I am trying to unlock my bootloader but I my computer (Windows 10) does not recognize fastboot.
When I connect to fastboot (holding volume up button + connecting my phone by USB when it's off, or using the adb reboot fastboot command), the computer does not recognize the phone. I then tried installing drivers (both from Google and Sony) by going into device manager but Windows just doesn't install the drivers.
I then saw this on Sony's website:
Fastboot driver - Sony Developer World
developer.sony.com
So I download the file and pasted it instead of the same file (android_winusb.inf) in the Google driver folder, and it somewhat worked, but Windows said something like unable to find drivers for ADB.
I also tried to install in Windows test mode but to no avail.
No matter what I tried, entering the command fastboot devices in fastboot mode does not give me any output (not even "waiting for device").
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you!

Did you already disable driver signing? Pretty sure you have to do that with Win 10. I would disable driver signing, and then use " 15 second adb installer" from XDA. Always has worked for me...
When i try to enter fastboot i am not getting the logo but just the word "fastboot". My poco f3 works perfectly but will not enter the fastboot mode with the logo. When i connect to the pc it is not recognised in this mode. I would be grateful if anyone can advise how to get it back to normal.

New fastboot logo is the orange FASTBOOT word. So it is already normal. If it's not recognized it may be a problem with drivers, usb cable, debug authorization/permissions.

Hi,
I have had my F3 for 13 months and Fastboot and windows can still be temperamental, my PC has 10+ usb sockets.
As bozinsky73 Suggested installing the correct drivers and maybe a different USB-C lead might help, you could try running MiFlash and then select the drivers tab and then Install, as some XDA users have had success with this.
I have tried 3 different (Aliexpress) Silicone coated leads and these cause my PC to flag up "unknown device" when in FASTBOOT, i also have 2 leads that look like the most cheapest ones out there and these work OK, even thou some times i still have to switch to another USB socket on my PC.
I run 3 different versions of windows on 3 different partitions that run, Win 7, Win 10 and Win 11 and i am still faced with the same issue regardless of the windows version.
I hope you sort it.
Thanks for the replies and solved it with a new cable. I was using the cable that came with the phone but obviously must have damage somewhere. Thanks anyway.
