[TWRP] Unofficial for Xiaomi Mi Note 3

WHAT IS TWRP?
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.
It allows you to back up and restore your data, flash custom ROMs to your device, repair broken file systems, and root your device.
How to install:
1. Unzip
2. Install fastboot tools from google's sdk on your PC
3. Enter fastboot mode on device
4. Unlock your bootloader
5. Run "fastboot flash recovery jason_twrp_recovery.img" via command line
6. Reboot

Wipe then Format Data, is the first thing to do after flashing twrp, make sure to backup first

Why this issue not happen with other twrp? The internal storage show 0 bytes

because you have to wipe your storage first

Im sorry i didnt get you, where did you get that error ?

i already have twrp on my phone, some turkish version with awful orange theme, is there a way for me to flash this one without reseting my system and data?

Yeah, just flash it over the old one, no need to touch system or data

First time I started twrp they would that I enter a password for data partition.
Which password is there required?

Enter your system password, if it didnt work you have to format, but backup data first

Thanks for this TWRP, work perfect!

I need also to enter password and I don't have encrypted phone. Plus I had already installed twrp installed, so this image has something... not working.

First of all , i want to wipe data
so i wipe brutally dont know what i click in twrp
i format data and wipe all dalvik ,system, data, internal
and restart system , now my phone bootloop to twrp again and again
My battery 26% left and i dont have accseess to computer... what should i do bro
i cant use my phone at all
My bootloader in unlocked
And now in slot a no os installed
what ashould i do

What system did you restart if you wiped the whole system partition??? Flash stock and stay out of advanced functions if you have no idea on what you're clicking!

The stock images can be flashed using fastboot or MiFlash. Both the A and B slots will be flashed and the userdata will be cleared so there's nothing else to do afterwards. Don't relock the bootloader if you intend on hacking your phone some more.

How to flash miui12.5 -21.1.13 (flashed mi globe based rom /not booting)

I flashed miui 12.5- 21.1.13 mi globe rom using
Twrp latest but not booted then used orange fox recovery latest but same problem.
I was on the miui 12.0.3 stable eu rom.
Please can anyone suggest whats the problem. (Redmi note 8 (gingko))

No i formated data after installation but still not booting

first booted ....it took about 5-10 minutes
was magisk installed before the first boot ?

no i have not installed magisk before and after .
I used twrp and orange fox both but i dont know what is the problem

if previously you had no problem with another rom .. maybe this problem comes from that rom

Help in Bootloop

Hello ..
I have miui 12.0.2 india Stock Rom . And suddenly my device poweroff and go into bootloop .
It restart again and again but dosen't boot miui .
I stuck in redmi screen and Dosen' show bootanimation .
I have unlock boatloader and install TWRP and install Arrow os 11 and format data but it bootloop again in bootanimation .
I try to install Miui Stock using Fastboot and Mi flash tool . But The problem still .
Note :
1- in TWRP when i connect pc i can use storage
2- Device offline charging Normally .
Pleeeeeeease. Help me

I try to Falsh DFE and Format Data but Doesn't work .
Any other solution ?
And can that problem due to Hardware Problem ??

Sorry ... I can flash DFE but Bootloop still

And i notice something : in the Bast when i Flash Stock Miui via TWRP the recovery go back to stock miui recovery but know when i flash miui the recovery TWRP still .

Any Solution ?? Pleeeeesae

do a clean flash with format and with a recovery zip (not fastboot zip)
if still not work use custom rom

it looks like you are processing too fast,
you try too many things = make the situation worst
there is no way a clean flash will not work
please make sure to follow instruction, flash RRos and use this kernel

What about Arrow os or pixel os ?
I try them but not works

I think issue is in unlock bootloader ...
I have been unlock bootloader but know i don't found auth_token file ?????

I try RR os and sixteen kernel but still in bootloop ....
But i Notice that there is no Token_auth. File in my device .
I have another RN8 and i try to compare files.
Can it happen due to no auth ???

Question Cannot install custom recovery in Poco f3 with Xiaomi EU ROM installed.

I recently flashed Xiaomi EU ROM on my Poco f3. Everything was running great until I tried to flash twrp. Everytime I try to flash twrp my phone boots into stock recovery .
When I use the latest 3.7 twrp my phone boots into the custom recovery but I cannot mount the data partition. Is there any solution to this ?

BOOT VERSION
Installation:
Phone in fastboot mode
Cmd:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Power shell
./fastboot boot twrp.img
then in Twrp go to Advanced -> flash current TWRP.​

I tried it but it didn't work. Everytime I try this my phone just powers off and I have to hold power button to start it and I still have the stock recovery
Also I don't know if it's important but I am rooted with latest magisk on Xiaomi EU rom

I have a pc but its very late at night so i used my other phone
Also when i use the latest twrp img it boots up but is unable to mount the data partition

Try with a pc.
rename the twrp to twrp.img.
Most often is "possibly:
Unroot.
install Platform tools, put the twrp in the folder.
Run the command from platform tools.
The one you are trying to install is the last one.

I already did everything , tried every method still everytime twrp gets replaced
I also tried orangefox but still same result
I also had the same problem on lineage os

For summary only version twrp-3.7.0_12-0-alioth-TeamWin.img worked?
Try to start from scratch:
Use Miflash without locking the bootloader.

Yes only the latest version booted but with a lot less features compared to the skkk twrp i used a while ago
I am afraid using miflash to flash eu rom on my phone would hard brick it

You cannot flash a Xiaomi Eu rom with Miflash, only stock roms, EEA, Global etc..
Just don't lock the bootloader.
What exactly do you want to do with TWRP?

Due to dynamic and A/B partitions this is not directly possible without a dedicated script.

What kind of script ?
Also to let you know i was able to remount system as rw on most custom roms i had on my phone
